In private firms,
- depends on the boss. Wise bosses makes sure that you have enough work to do before they leave the office. Else, makakalusot talaga yung kung ano-anong errands, hobbies, etc when the boss is not around.

normal lang din ako kasi my boss is SOO laidback (dream boss sya talaga) and hindi mahirap kausapin so kung nandyan sya, I work and nakakapag surf. Minsan, umuuwi pa ako ng maaga (half day a) ng di kelangan mag file ng leave. Wala, trip lang umuwi ng maaga. Sabi nya kasi wala naman syang care sa anong ginagawa namin basta ang importante, ang deliverables. Kung tapos na daw work namin, pwde na kaming umuwi if gusto namin.

I'm the BOSS, so I would like to think mga staff ko ginagawa pa din job nila.  I would like to think laid back din ako, so same same lang naman when I'm around or not kasi they have a quota to reach to get a commission.  I'm good kahit they want to relax when I'm not around basta alam nila na at the end of the month they have reached their quota.

same lang... as long as we deliver our deliverables, ok lang if mag net kami, nood ng movie/series sa station, etc. minsan nga mas busy pa pag andiyan siya since we need to cover for some of her works.

whether my boss is around or not, we behave the same... he's not the type kasi who is scary and strict na bawal ganito ganyan etc. He even said when your job is done, you can go home if you want. So usually, I get paid full time hours, but really, I only worked for 15-20 hours a week at most

He's also very open minded and will fight for us instead of throwing us under a bus. I'm so loyal to him.

I think we're all behaving just the same whether he's here with us or not. When it comes to our production, he has no reason to be strict since we all know what to do and we always meet or exceed our targets for the month. Our accounts are pretty easy as long as there's not much new files.

He's the one who's not doing his job properly lol always outside, just smoking and drinking coffee.
