Pwede mo namang iredeem na if you want. Or baka pwede naman open ka ng bdo account uli na malapit sa iyo then link again to your eip account kung gusto mo pa ituloy.

I visited my branch and open another EIP account, this time equity. Ang bilis, less than 5 minutes okay na agad. Siguro kasi second account na. Hindi pala pwedeng minor. Dapat daw at least 18 years old.

Sis, for 2nd account, ano po requirements na hiningi?

Nag fill out lang ako ng forms. Dala ka na din ng IDs just to be sure.

^ sorry sis pero pano mo nalaman na naging 1,9k+ siya? hindi ako actively monitoring ng EIP ko sa BDO pero yung sakin is peso fixed. 2k twice a month ako, or 4k a month. Then every time it reaches 10k saka lang iniinvest ni BDO sa UITF. kumbaga, nakastock lang sakanila yung hinuhulog kong 4k/month.
Gains/loss are computed depende sa navpu. so for example, by the time I reached my first 10k, navpu is  100.00, then 10k/100=100 units. since continuous yung EIP ko, wait ulit si BDO makabuo ako ng 2nd 10k. Let's say nagincrease yung navpu ng 102.00 then 10k/102=98.04. in this case meron na kong 98 units, yung sobra na .04 units equivalent in peso=Php4.08 is hindi magagamit which means around 9,996 lang talaga ang naspend on my 2nd purchase.
At this point, total units bought mo is 198*current navpu 102=Php 20,196. Since you have already spent 10k+9,996=19,996, then may gain ka nang Php 200.

At least this is how I know it works.

Yes they do.
I've been investing in BDO's Equity Fund via EIP since 2010
and have redeemed multiple COPs since then as well.

@happynlove Balance fund sa akin sis, every sched ng deduction chinecheck ko sya online, binibili na rin nila agad ng units. Kaya naman nasasabi ko rin loss yong 2k ko every hulugan. I dunno kung iba ang process pag peso fixed.

Diba ang COP nila every 10k iniissue? May nabasa din kasi ako dito na ganun yung explanation, ang alam ko hindi pwedeng decimals lang ang units. Like sa example mo sis krisel_06, mas malaki yung navpu sa hinuhulog mo so dapat hindi pa pwede ibili yun diba kasi whole units dapat. Yung navpu is price per unit. Kung 3k/unit and 2k lang pambili mo then it defeats the purpose ng pricing per unit..
Anyway assuming binibili nga nila agad yung money mo, dapat hindi lang yan yung number of units mo kung nakailang hulog ka na ng 2k. May online facility na ba sila na makikita natin yung total units bought? Meaning yung number of units from the time you started up to this day?

@happynlove, you must be mistaking UITFs with MFs.
I have UITFs with BDO,BPI,UCPB and Security Bank.
They allow fractional units.

Mutual Funds though do not as there's no such thing
as a "partial" share.

@krisel, you gave the wrong NAV. It should be 3975.4906

I can verify that this is how BDO computes for the # of units.
Just divide your invest by the NAVPU, then take the last
4 decimal places.

They don't round up the "butal"

I've had money in the fixed income fund before and all of
my EIP contributions were less than 1 unit because the NAVPU
of the fund was more than 1k and I was only investing 1k.

So, we've established that they invest your EIP contribution
as you make them and once the market value of your total EIP
contributions reach 10k then your EIP is spun off and you're
given a COP.

and yes they do have an online facility where you can see
each of your EIP contributions and how much they're worth.

^ thank you for clarifying! Didn't know I was wrong so thank you for stepping up! by the way would you mind sharing the link of their online facility? Is this different from when I view my savings acct online, or am I supposed to be able to see it on the same site? When I asked BDO about this before I was told that I should only monitor the navpu.

It's the same site. There's a EIP/UITF tab.
I enrolled mine when they first came out with the EIP
and I only needed the master client number if I remember
correctly.

I'm not sure if it's still the same process.

about navpu, yan yong current navpu kahapon sis hindi nong 4/30, hindi ko na pala dapat nilagay yong 4/30. 

@happynlove sis sa online account mo click enrollment services (nasa left side), sa pinakababa yong trust account click mo ulit then lalabas enable viewing of account.

So, mga sisses back to my question, kelangan kong dagdagan ang contribution ko para di sya mag negative? TIA

@neni, sa pagkakaalam ko yes you can stop your eip but you need to submit a letter (i forgot what it's called) without redeeming your investment.
