Naku kahit etong New Accts section ng BDO is blockbuster! I have to wait for like an hour or two dahil sa dami ng nag oopen ng SA. kaloka lang...pero it depends din ata sa branch location. Yung sakin kasi malapit sa market(palengke) kainis lang..yun lang kasi malapit sa amin...

Clarify ko lang about withdrawal/redemption. If withdraw mo na money mo, per CoP?
If meron ka 5 CoP and you want to redeem all 5, tuloy pa din ang EIP mo until you do the notice of unsubscription?

I think so. I haven't tried to withdraw or encash any of my CoP.  Thank God wala naman big emergency.  But, yeah, I think you can encash some of your CoP while still continuing on your EIP.

I have an existing payroll account with BDO. Pwede ba na sa payroll account na lang sila magdebit monthly instead of opening a new personal savings account? TIA

Yes, I've redeemed multiple COPs.
The EIP is separate, once its been spun off and you have a COP.
And yes, you'll have to submit an unsubscribe request if you want
to stop your EIP.

Medyo nalilito ako sa pag wiwithdraw ng money. If for example nagdecide ako magwithdraw ng money ko january 27 at 10am, anong navpu magpeprevail? Navpu ng january 26? Or yung magiging navpu ng january 27 by 7pm?

Yan ay kung before the cut off time ka nag redeem.
Kung nag redeem ka after the cut off time.. which
is normally mga 12nn then yung navpu ng january 28
ang makukuha mo.

Ang CoP ba will be automatically sent to your address pag available na? Or you have to personally claim sa branch?

It depends on what you indicated in your EIP subscription form.
I asked mine to be delivered to my branch and I just pick it up.

Thanks. I visited the branch and got my CoP. Nung Oct pa pala ako nag 10k. Nakakatuwa kasi in just 5 months nag earn na agad ng more than P300. Mukhang maliit lang pero if you put your money in a regular savings account, let's say 10k for a year, P25 lang ang interest niya di ba kasi 0.25% lang halos ngayon sa mga banks. Sana tuloy tuloy na maganda performance. I am thinking of opening another one, sa equity naman.

Question is not 100% clear to me but

- Yes every contribution (1,000 in your case) will have
paper loss/gain

- The holding period does not come into the picture until
your EIP is spun off i.e. the market value reaches 10,000

- Once you have 10,000 and a certificate of participation
you'll have to wait for 30 days before redeeming if you don't
want to be slapped with fees

- You can redeem your EIP even if it hasn't reached 10,000
(or spun off) but you'll be charged a fee

Err yeah! that's why I said you can't redeem your COP UNLESS
you are willing to be charged an early termination fee.

Or are you saying that one can redeem one's COP anytime
and there won't be any early termination fees because the

hello! got my 2nd COP for BALANCED FUND and i am thinking of transferring to EQUITY. for long term naman goal ko. sa mga may idea, kailangan ko ba ng new application? thanks for the help!

Tumawag ako sa branch kasi I'm planning to invest din sa equity. Magoopen daw ng new account for equity. Di pwedeng iswitch yung peso balanced into equity. Sa mga VUL lang ata pwede yun. Nagtanong din kasi ako if pwede akong magopen for my kids. Pwede daw, minimum age requirement is 7 years old.

^^ as far as I know, you have to redeem the balanced fund then apply for a new equity fund coz they're 2 different funds.

I visited my branch and open another EIP account, this time equity. Ang bilis, less than 5 minutes okay na agad. Siguro kasi second account na. Hindi pala pwedeng minor. Dapat daw at least 18 years old.

Few questions, nagapply ako ng EIP last 2013, started on October then since 4k/month yun, dapat December completed na yung 10k.
1. Why didn't I receive COP? Do I need to go to the bank everytime it reaches 10k?
2. The savings acct it is linked to is already closed and it's been more than a year. Is there a chance that my UITF is still running?

Mine i still have to go to the bank to claim. Buti katabi lang ng office. If close na ang bank account mo then wala ng source ng monthly investment mo. But i think naman open pa rin uitf mo and still earning since okay naman performance nung fund. Yun lang wala ka nang additional investment.
