Yup agree hindi po lahat ata sa mga tellers/nasa customer service alam ang UTIF.

I was about to inquire how to avail ng EIP and the teller na wala ng EIP. hindi na sila nagoffer. Papalitan na daw ng ibang product.

How true kaya ito?

I haven't had a chance to call pa din BDO to inquire further.

The reason why nagopen ako dahil pa naman dito.

Pero bakit ganon, wala man lang binigay na receipt or any form upon sign up na katunayan na
nagavail ka ng product na ganito. Ang binigay lang sakin is yung terms nila. Ang pinaka magiging document mo lang na hawak is yung certificate kapag naka 10k ka na.

And btw, yung SA where my BDO EIP is taking out the 1k from is enrolled online so i can easily monitor if they were able to take out
the money. But you know what, it does not reflect in my transaction list. Nababawasan lang pero hindi mo makikita na minus 1k for this.

shows up in my transaction list.

The description is: ADA TRUST UITF & REFNUM
The branch is:       RECON UNIT

Are you sure you just didn't miss it?

How is the lack of documentation while your EIP is building
the required 10k amount troubling you?

You could always screenshot the transaction list showing
it went to UITF then the very next day, it should show up
in your list of UITFs.
Each contribution has its own EIP "number", seems like a unique
ID to me... that is until it reaches 10k and gets spun off, in which
case you're given a COP number

Finally enrolled in BDO's UITF.. Para pa akong engot coz I thought that I can fund the UITF with like 5k upon opening the account, pero hinde pala. From the start pala, the EIP will be enforced if you choose this option.. Since I can only commit the minimum amount for now, ayun ang tagal ko maabot ang 10k

Pero if you couldn't pay naman then it would just
skip.

So, if you have a 5k bi-monthly EIP and your
account only has 4k, then magsskip lang and
next contribution date ulit ka kakaltasin, that is
if sufficient sa 5k yung laman ng account mo

Yeah i missed it sis. Nakita ko na yung debit transactions ng EIP.

Ibig sabihin mae-enroll ko lang siya sa BDO online if i reach the 10k mark and get the CoP number?

Not at all, as soon as you get a CMN then you
can go ahead and enroll your EIP.
(When I first started my EIP, I didn't get a CMN
until I got my first COP, but I've been told
that's no longer the case and you get a CMN
right off the bat when you open an EIP account).

On BDO online a COP would have the COP #
like this

COP Number XXXXXXXXXX

While an EIP contribution would look like this

COP Number EIP-XXXXXX

17% p.a. ang returns ko sa BDO Equity fund nung last month,
ewan ko nlang ngayon kasi super down ang market.

Again, doesn't really matter kung ano ang current
returns mo kung hindi mo pa naman sya i-reredeem.

Pwedeng 17% p.a. sya this month then just 10% p.a.
next month.

i went to my branch last tueday and the new account;s officer said nakahold pa daw and EIP nila for now so di pa pwede magopen.

so sa savings muna funds ko for now. Kayo rin ba ganon ang sabi?

Di nga naexplain ng mabuti saken ng officer nila e. tapos i inquire about uitf and she explained to me everything pero you know when someone indirectly tell you na wag nalang muna kasi bagsak daw ngayon so baka mag negative pa yung investment ko then she gave me the booklets sabi niya aralin ko daw ulet and get back to her when I am ready so i took the signal of not to open muna. also, that same time may investor din akong kasabay and nagpullout ng investment kasi biglang bgsak daw yung market  ng tuesday e. Out of topic nako sorry hahaha.

Hello mga sisses,

BDO Eip is on hold - because may paparating na bagong system sis na papalit sa kanya. I used to handle this system nung nasa BDO pa ako. From the initiation phase to maintenance phase ng system. sorry for the IT jargons.. :-)

Tinawagan ko kasi yung dati naming head and nagtanong nga ako sa nabasa ko dito bakit nakahold daw or di alam nung ibang teller yung eip. Yan ang sinabi nya. Ayun - abang abang na lang tayo sa bagong system.

Bakit daw kailangan mag upgrade hun?
May tangible benefits kaya yung upgrade
para sa mga EIP subscribers?

Gagawin nilang SAP? hahaha

Gusto ko pa naman sana i-modify EIP ko
at gagawin kong twice a month. Buti nlang
hindi ako nag effort at marami pa naman naka
pila sa new accounts nung Friday.

hehe 3rd party system kasi to so baka mahal ang bayad at di na kaya ni bdo ang maintenance. pwedeng gumawa sila ng sarili nila or nag purchase ng ibang system from other vendors. Di ko na tinanong kung bakit eh. basta sabi lang is dahil nga daw may idedeploy na bagong system. Nung hawak ko eip may mga flaws sya na di naayos e.. so baka ganun nangyari nung nasa prod na hehe

i emailed BDO recently inquiring how can increase my EIP contribution without going personally to their branch and this is their reply:

"We are currently reviewing how overseas investors may be able to open/change an EIP account and will update you once this is online."


about time they should launch an online platform gaya ng BPI at PNB, if that happens ililipat ko na UITF ko from BPI.
