Mga sis, nakapagopen na ko ng EIP and start na cya this month. 

Ask ko lang anong date yung magrereflect na NAVpu?

Say, every 25th of the month yung schedule mo.. yung NAVpu ba eh nung 24th or yung pang 25th kapag nadebit? Sabi kasi every 7pm pa (daw ??) nacacalculate yung navpu for the day.

You'll get the 25th, i.e. the same day you were debited.

I chanced upon this thread and I must say it's very enlightening! Gusto ko rin magstart nito. Pero yun lang mejo marami pang gastos dahil naghuhulog ako ng condo. but really, really interested. Thanks girls for the share!

Paano kung may Php10K na po ako? Diretso na po ba ako mag-apply for Equity? Pwede ba yun?

^ you will be issued a certificate na since 10K naman ang minimum placement

PNB recently launched their UITF Investment Online facility ang BDO kaya kelan? nakaka-frustrate as much as i want to subscribe to their UITF investments aside from my EIP kailangan pa kasi magpunta personally sa branch nila

Sisses i'd like to ask sana, how am i able to know where do they invest or what companies? im under their eip, and come august it will be my 3rd equity na with bdo since 10k nga ang minimum and i am planning to stop na and leave those 3 there for growth. kaso hindi ko naman alam saan companies/stocks nila ininvest [textspeak!] investments ko. btw, after my 3 equities in bdo i am planning to start naman with a balanced fund in fami instead of col. i hope im making the right choice and decision.

But they only give out the top 10 which makes up more than 50%
of the funds assets.

Baka someone here knows what happens kung malaki loss ng pera mo, let's say yung 10k mo naging 5k na lang. Kinain na yung principal amount. Pag nag antay ka ba na tumaas ulit, mababawi mo ulit yung principal mo?

Kasi before 2010 yata yun, may mga nalugi and kinuha na lang pera nila kaysa daw maubos lahat.

Yes as long as the NAV goes up you'll eventually break even
and/or make  some profit.

During the 2008 financial crisis, I lost nearly 20% but that was
just paper losses. I eventually made a profit in 2011 and transferred
everything to an equity fund(from balanced fund).

Those guys you mention didn't invest according to their risk tolerance
and goals then.

So once I accumulated 10K, I get COP right? So what does that mean exactly? Can I withdraw my money anytime then?

It means you can opt to stop your EIP if you
want.

You can withdraw your money even if you still
don't have a COP. You just have to pay a penalty.

But if you already have a COP, there's a short
period(witholding) where you also pay a penalty
if you redeem your COP.. 30 days I think?
After that you can redeem it with no penalties.

Hi sisses question po is it possible na yung 3 UITFs ang aapplyan mo say 1k/month for each UITF? and can those be debited from only one SA?

* BDO Peso Fixed Income Fund (PFIF)
* BDO Peso Balanced Fund (PBAL)
* BDO Equity Fund (EQUITY)

Yes, I personally have 2 EIPs for one fund, BDO Equity
and one for BDO Fixed Income.
