Hello, interested po ako sa investment plan.. Yung Fixed Income, since I'm a newbie, pero wala po ako sa Pilipinas. Pwede din po ba ako makapag open ng account kahit wala ako jan? Ano po ba ang steps para dito?

you need to be physically at the bank to open this investment

Bakit ganon, supposedly start na ng July 5 yung take out sa savings account ko pero hindi naman nabawasan! Hay pupunta pa tuloy ako mamaya sa bdo!

Will there be any penalty if your SA fail to auto debit to your EIP for a particular month?

Nope. if your account balance is less than the required
the it would skipped lang.

They encoded july 5 2014 instead of 2013 kaya hindi nagbawas sa SA ko. Asar lang!

Inis na inis nga ako, sabi ko dapat sa july20 na kaltaa gawin nilang 2k to cover my missed cutoff para tama pa rin projections ko aa investment ko.
Ay naku system limitation daw kaya hindi pwede. 1k lang daw maibabawas. Kakadisappoint.

more than 1k per contribution date. 1k is just the minimum.

The only limitation that I know of is that changes would
have to be made at least 4 days ahead of your contribution
date.

So, if you change it on the 15th and your contribution date
is on the 20th, you're good but if you try changing it on the 19th
then the change would take effect on the 19th of next month.

Did you ask to talk to her supervisor?

Mag COL na lang kayo  Less hassle.

Lalo na yong mga nasa abroad, pwedeng pwede mag open ng account. Check niyo na lang website nila.

Some people will still prefer the BDO EIP just because you can choose funds that are not invested into stock market. May funds para sa bonds or those invested in money market or those that are partially in equities. The COL limits you to putting the money in the stock market. Kahit COL EIP pa ang gamitin. So COL is not generally for conservative investors and also those who are struggling in picking the right stocks themselves.

Anyway, I think many OFWs don't stay outside the country for so many years. May uuwi pa rin sa kanila within one year or two. In that case they can still open a BDO EIP account or any other UITF in another bank while they are here.

hi mga sis. quick question lang, gusto ko kasi i-enroll online yun uitf ko sa bdo pero i'm not sure ano yun client number ko. i read in another forum na nasa COP daw siya pero when i tried na input yung account id no sa COP, invalid daw. appreciate your help. TIA

^ sis, parang i remember ganyan din nangyari sa akin dati. nag-add i think ako ng two (2) zeros sa simula ng Client Master Number. try mo lang sis

@neni, its strange that you used "account id" because in the COP
client number is under "client master no."
Its off to the right, up at the top right before the big "BDO" :p

Mine has 039xxxxxx and I checked my BDO online account
and it shows that my client number is 39xxxxxx with the leading
0 taken out.

So you can try what leelou said and if it doesn't work, try
to take out the leading zeroes.

Six mxherr5: Sadly, walang CMN na nkalagay sa COP ko. Just the account id no. And cop no. Weird nga e. will just call the hotline tom thanks for the suggestions

I'm checking my COP now. CMN No. is in the top middle part of the COP. Below Branch, Date and NAVPU To Date info. It starts with 0 and naalala ko na same with mxherr5, remove the zero pag enroll

Naku sis, hindi na ako naghanap. Gusto ko na nga ipacancel eh! Gusto ko sabihin na ayoko ata ipagkatiwala ang money ko sa mga tao na year lang hindi pa ma-encode ng maayos.
Hinayaan ko na, so this 19th ang start ng take out from my SA.
