BDO EIP( Easy Investment Plan)

Hi sisses, does anyone of you experience investing on it? Need your opinion on this. Iyong Investment amount nila starts at Php1,000.00 per contribution per month for all UITFs with the EIP feature except for the BDO Peso Money Market Fund (PMMF), which starts at Php 10,000.00. Good deal na iyong 1,000 per month na contribution noh?

Nope, as long as your EIP reaches a market value of 10k then its spun off
and you can opt to stop your EIP.

You can also opt to stop your EIP even without reaching 10k pero may
penalties.

been on EIP for 2years now

hanggang di ka nag-iissue ng stop payment sa EIP mo, tutuloy lang sya na mag-transfer ng fund as scheduled.  even after reaching that 10K.

it's difficult to say... iba iba naman kasi ang uri ng fund.  iba iba rin ang composition ng fund.  But BDO Trust Funds are there among the top Trust Funds with very low investment option.

Compare it to BPI Trust Fund, BDO is way better.  Compare it to Unionbank Large Cap Fund, that fund is the best.

FAMI or BDO?

I have both, pero Equity fund ang FAMI ko at Fixed Income naman ang BDO.  Both are doing great!

If you pla to have EIP, is it necessary na may existing savings account ka with BDO already? or is it fine na you'll just be enrolled in EIP kahit wala kapa existing savngs with them?

you an existing account with BDO or you can open an account.  Auto-debit kasi ang arrangement ng EIP.  They would need an account kung saan nila kukunin ang monthly investment contribution mo.

Kahit ATM account lang na pwede na para 2k lang ang maintaining balance.  Pero hindi pwede ang Cash Cards.

nope. kiddie account lang kasi yan.  the bank account needs to be in the investor's name and the investor needs to be 18 years old and above.

BDO Fixed Income Fund is a bond fund, very low risk.  Maliit lang ang increase nito in a year, parang 5% per year lang, on average historically.  Just enough to best SDA's T-bills and inflation.  But your money here is relatively safer compared sa Balanced Fund.  Kasi sa government at corporate bonds naka-invest ang pera.

According to Bloomberg, YTD of Fix Income Fund is currently at 9.62%.  Not bad if you're only planning to beat the yields of time deposit.

BDO Balanced Fund is a 50-50 mix.  50% Bond and 50% Equity or Stocks.  Mas mabilis ang increase ng pera dito because of the stocks component.  Medium risk type of investment dahil din may stocks na halo.  Kung mababa ang stocks, hindi naman gaanong babagsak ang investment mo kasi ma-compensate naman sya sa gradual increase ng bond composition ng investment.

sabi ni Bloomberg YTD ni BDO Balanced Fund is currently at 21.53%.  Very close to PSEi which is at 27%

If you're wondering kung ano ang YTD ng BDO Equity Fund, it's 30.04% which is much higher than the PSEi which is at 27.25%

Personally, i have a Fix Income Fund kasi dito ako nagsimulang mag-invest 2yrs ago, kung kelan testing mode pa lang ako.  For you, I would recommend getting the Balanced Fund.

what do u mean with monthly investment contribution?  so 1k/ month , lumalabas na 12k a year? if willing ako mag invest for 1 year dapat may 12k ako tama po ba? pasensya po sa noob questions.
