Curious lang ako, mga sis, magkano binibigay niyo sa parents niyo nung single pa kayo (kung married na kayo ngayon)? Every payday ba o tuwing special occasions lang? Nagbago ba amount when you moved out of home or ganun pa rin? for sure it will be a big help.I'm an only child and both of my parents have stable jobs. We live quite comfortably naman, we could afford luxuries every now and then, pero confused ako how much to give my parents. They're not the type na magsabi ng fixed amount na kailangan bigyan ko sila, actually kahit nga hindi ako magbigay okay lang pero syempre nahihiya ako. Inputs?
^^ hehe, thanks, sis stormy. kung kaya lang talaga namin ibigay lahat sa parents namin e ibibigay namin...
Hi sis, it's up to you. Kung mag-open up ang parents mo ng something na need mong bayaran, if kaya ng salary mo, okay lang. Pero if they don't say anything but still you insist, why not suggest na akuin mo yung expenses sa bills like elec. /water/telephone etc. Im now working also here in middle east, ngayon na maganda ang kinikita ko I give my mom 20% of my salary. Kahit married na ko I still give her kasi gusto ko. Iyon naman ang importante, at your own free will.
I agree with this advice... I remember watching somewhere before that you can give any amount that you're willing to give. If they ask for a certain amount and you can give it, then do. What's most important is that you're sincere about it. Our parents spent more money (plus time and effort) on us while we were getting older so we should pretty musch do the same for them once we become mature enough...
