I feel it.. Kaya madalas na din ang away namin, sinabi nya saken sinasakal ko sya which is hindi naman, gusto ko lang magtxt o tumawag man lang sya.. Last time nag away kami, sinaktan nya ko, and the hurt still remained... But why he sudden changed? We decided to separate pero bigla ko syang pinigil because of our son na 6months palang,.. Bigla akong naawa sa anak ko.. I know kinalaki ng ulo nya ang pagpigil ko, ok na ako dahil nagbati na kami.. Pero iba na sya. Ang lamig lamig nya saken.. Parang nawawalan na din ako ng gana.. Dumalas ang pag aaway namin.. Should i let go? Or hold on? Ang hirap kasi ilang beses na din kami muntik maghiwalay and i know maybe this is our last chance na.. gusto ko ng makipaghiwalay pero pag naiisip ko anak namin naaawa ako, aside from that SAHM ako, wala din akong enough money to shoulder all finances... Pag naghiwalay kami, i know di nya susuportahan anak nya...

be strong... kaya natin yan... =)

In one seminar I attended about breaking a negative habit, one man shared that he's a womanizer and that's the habit he wants to break. Where did he get it? Sa clan daw nya, from his father, to uncles of both sides of his parents.  Yun yung kinalakihan nya, so he thought it's normal. Good thing for him, nagkaron sya ng self-awareness.

Kids learn much through observation, so we have to weigh our choices between staying or leaving. Kaya nga there are some battered wives who have fathers na batterer din.

I don't know your story, pero kung hindi maganda ang nakikita ng bata sa isa sa magulang nya, eh pwede nyang makagawian. Wag nang hintaying maging pattern sa generations to come.

Mahirap, pero minsan one has to set a time frame kung hanggang kelan ka aasa.

^ I agree. Worse, is kung babae ang anak nyo, she would think it is normal na loko-lokohin lang ng kahit sinong lalaki.

And the thing about this, boy or girl man maging anak ninyo, natural na first 7 yrs na formative years niyan, ang kasama most often yung nanay.  And if she/he sees na walang self respect ang nanay na tinatapak-tapakan lang ng tatay, they would think that it is ok. BUT it is NOT OK.

Your marriage is already dead. Its time for you to move on with your life. He doesnt love you anymore and i can virtually guarantee he has another girl na. Time for you to face the facts.

Just want to share. Ever since my husband lost his job he started to become a stranger. Right now ako ang bread winner. :'(

sis yummy05, alam mo nung nagwo-work ako hindi ako mahilig magreply sa text ni bf (now hubby). kahit nung naging mag-asawa na kami, kung hindi niya sasabihin na "magreply ka" sa text, di ako sasagot. di rin ako tumatawag sa bahay namin kahit may landline sa desk ko sa office...kasi i am working, andun yung focus ko. kahit lunch time, i don't call or text him, instead natutulog ako.

are you a stay at home mom? if you are, what do you do sa spare time mo? nasabi na ito before sa mga ibang threads, wag natin paikutin ang buhay natin sa hubby or bf natin.

if you miss hubby, pwede naman kasi na mag-spend ka ng quality time with him pag uwi niya. halimbawa habang dinner, magpakwento ko ano yung mga ginawa niya that day sa office, ikuwento niya mga friends & clients niya.

baka adjustment period lang between the two of you kasi first time niya mag-work? although mali talaga na saktan ka niya...naging makulit ka ba? for me once or twice a week na paglabas to drink with friends is ok para sa pamilyado na, pero not everyday.

^ This is what I feared the most -  to be trapped in a marriage that is dead already and no way out kasi I am financially dependent on him.  The worse thing that can happen to a cheated/abused wife is to stay in a marriage na hindi nagbago ang asawa, endure the agony and feel trapped because one is not financially independent.

Sis chubby_kim, tingin ko hindi nagkakalayo ang age natin.  kaya ngayon wala ako sa pinas because natatakot ako walang makuhang work once lampas ka na ng 35yo.

Sometimes hindi sa purkit na experience ko rin ang hirap ng maging asawa ng isang cheater, lagi ko sinu-suggest sa mga naloloko na asawa is to leave the marriage. Kaso kung wala talaga eh, ano ang magagawa ng isang wife but to leave.

And time is against us. Kung nagawa ko sana nang mas maaga baka mas maraming options pa ang available sakin - not only financially but also in terms of my lovelife.

And regarding sa natatakot na may malaman na new info. normal lang yun. And if you think about it, it will be lifelong.  So brace yourself that there is more to come IF you choose not to leave.  It is either you endure it, or you have to go.  Do you really want to live a life like this?  I don't think anyone does.  During my time nung hindi ko pa maiwan ang asawa ko, nagdadasal nanga lang ako kasi akala ko wala akong magagawa na at nagawa ko na lahat, Diyos nalang or a miracle can address my issue.  Pero hindi pala. Nasa tao ang gawa nasa Dyos ang awa. Kung hindi tayo kikilos sa gusto natin maging buhay, we will forever be stuck in this rut.

sis, pray ka nalang muna and sana ma enlighten ka to do the right thing, whatever that is right for you.

I just want to share my married life i got pregnant and got married at an early age (20)...The first 10 years of my married life is like a hell...Its really hard we live in a separate house so kahit magbubuggan kme wala makikialam ...I can say I'm a battered wife, wala atang araw dati na magkasundo kme sigawan bugbugan 2x ako nagkablackeye..I dont feel that I am loved lagi siya nasa barkada puro gimik, ang hirap never kame nagsabi ng I love u din ang fb , bank account , cp lahat yan diko alam password....lage ko iniisip should i stay or move on? Naiinggit nga ako sa iba na happy talaga lalo na pag bago...then nung sobra na bugbugan namin i decided to go at my moms house...Separated kami for 3 mos. nabago na lahat after that wala ng away as in nagtataka yung iba bakit di na kame nagaaway but the sad thing is I think ako na nagbago eh parang barkada na lang tingin ko sa kanya wala na din ako pakialam sa kanya ...hindi ko nga inaalam kung ano ginagawa niya pag nasa work ako ....i really dont know if i still love him or nagfade na talaga...now i really dont know kung tama ba na nagkabalikan pa kame...mahirap lang kase puro girls anak namin kung maghiwalay kme maapektuhan talaga dahil malayo bahay ng parents ko yun lang talaga iniisip ko kaya nakipagbalikan ako...mahirap din pala na kahit ok na kayo walang away pero parang wala ng love ...i dont know im looking for something, something is missing talaga. Kahit akala ng iba happy kame kase puro pasyal at di nagaaway and we're now turning 15 yrs.

@ ashley_afiah you may want to read the book "the fascinating womanhood".
It wont hurt naman if you will try to follow the book.
As for me, some part it not applicable for me such as this book is for the wives to stop working and to stay home and just be a housewife.
Pero the part where i have to praise the man of the house, be pretty for your man, etc, i think those work for me. Early this year, i felt so distant from him so i started reading the book as suggested by our sissies here.

You may want to try, wala naman mawawala. ;)

^^bro why do you teach your wife to be financially independent? For what reason/s? I just find it weird coming from a husband, lalo na dito pa sa thread na to nimention. Ang dating kasi sa akin, you're teaching that to your wife just in case magloko ka. Pero i agree na dapat financially independent talaga just in case, God forbid, mawala na si hubby and for other reasons rin.

My point exactly. If nawala ako di gutom ang wife ko. I always stress that point to my wife. In addition to her career i show her the ropes of all my businesses para just in case something happens hindi magugutom ang family ko. And i dont see the point of holding back the earning potential of my wife...if she can earn big she has my support. Nothing wrong with that.  ;)

I always tell my daughters not to give up their job kung mag aasawa.  Actually, I was recently separated with my husband. Yes, it's lonely, but I don't fear for me and my kids' future because I am financially independent.  On the contrary, Siya ang dependent sa akin  and that's one of the many reasons why we separated.

^ yes, it's lonely at times. but money can be your bestfriend and your armor.

Money makes you independent, kahit hindi na kayo magkita ever ng ex hubby mo, you can survive. Puede ka pa magshopping at lalong magpaganda. Magpa parlor at magpa spa.  ;D  Tapos wala ka pang iniisip na lalaki na kelangan mong i-please in terms of dinner sa bahay or schedules.  Ang sarap nga makawala from a failed marriage, especially if you are financially independent.
