Try visiting SoKor during different seasons as there's something new to see everytime. Foliage will be different aside from the climate. I've done all except summer though, during my past 5 trips, cos Korean summers are pretty hot, too. My 6th trip will be autumn again as it is early this November.

Hi mga sis!

Question lang po about the visa application.

We're 7 travelling po to SK in November. When we will submit our visa pplication, pwede po ba isang tao lang ang magsa-submit for all of us? And same window lang kaya yun? Kase 3 of us have previous OECD visas while the 4 have none. I think iba kase ang windo for those with previous OECD visas na.

Yung sa husband ko (with previous OECD visa), kelangan po magkakasabay sa application namin kase his financial supporting docs po ang isa-submit namin for his mom (no previous OECD visa) who will be travelling with us. Kami po kase ang magso-shoulder ng trip ng mom nya.

hi guys!

we have availed ceb pac promo last year for travel to sk on the 1st week of september. we intend to apply for visa this coming july. i'm worried though because i was recently transferred to a sister company last february. i am working for this group of companies for 8 years now but my ITR for 2012 is issued by company A and beginning feb i am already under company B - thus my certificate of employment would likely be issued by company B (this is a sister company of company A). we are doing shared services and i am working as a manager. do you think this will pose a problem to me? im afraid i might be denied visa because of this.

^^ sis, I don't think magkakaproblem ka. Naka-indicate naman sa ITR yung covering period, which is 2012. While your COE will most likely indicate din naman your start date with company B. So me continuity.

@bebeloo, sis alam ko mas magkalapit ang bukchon hanok village saka gyengbokgung. Nilakad lang namin yun eh haven't been to changedeokgung though...

and yep magkalapit lang bukchon at gyeongbokgung. daan din kayo samcheongdong pag may time. maganda mag-stroll dun, gaganda ng cafes. ^^

actually magkakalapit lang naman ang gyeongbokgung and changdeokgung palace sa bukchon and namsangol vill.  pero for me mas better siguro if mag Bukhon Hanok Village then Changdeokgung Palace (UNESCO World Heritage) same sila nasa Anguk station subway line 3 exit 2 and 3 respectively.

Loved SoKor! Happy na ako na makita si Hyun Bin sa Samsung poster nya sa COEX Mall . We stayed one night in Incheon, then in Seoul, we stayed at Dragon Hill Lodge located in Yongsan. There's a ton of good restaurants outside our hotel and shops are everywhere. Went to Gyeongbukgung Palace, passed by the Blue House, then went to a big mall (which I can't remember, I think it was IFC) and it was just crazy! There were lines all over the high end stores and I didn't have patience for it. 

Next stop, Suwon. I like this place as well. Good shopping and nice mall too. Bought my leather boots here for $100 (tinawaran ko na yun hehe). Then off we went to Osan, where all the fake handbags are sold. Grabe ang tindi ng bentahan dito! Also, there's a lot of bars here, Filipinas (juicy girls) are everywhere! They sell nice blankets here for cheap.

Last stop, Kunsan. There's nothing to see here really. Probinsya ito haha! But I must say, I love galbi, kimchi, yangnyeom tongdak(fried chicken), bibimbap, bulgogi, japchae and soju in a kettle!

paano kung hindi ma approve visa sayang naman dapat talaga mag pa reserve?thanks

^^ when we applied for KR visa, nilagay namin sa hotel e "undecided". Ok lang naman.

naguguluhan ako kasi 2 days lang kami sa seoul.haha

myeongdong kami mag-stay so siguro yung shopping sa gabi na lang. saturday ng 10:40 dating namin sa incheon.

i want to visit this places sana: seoul tower, namsan hanok village, bukchon village, siguro kahit 2 palaces, hongdae and dongdaemun.

kung meron din kayong mairerecommend na nightlife. TIA

hi, mga sis... when i had a business trip in japan, via incheon and there's around 6 hours waiting time for my flight back to manila. i noticed too late that they offered mga short time tours. and when i inquired if i still need a visa to join, di ko naintindihan ang sagot. baka me nakakaalam if you still need a visa or not. thanks in advance!

^anung passport mo sis? if Philippine passport at wala kang korean tourist visa you cannot leave the airport. ang alam ko SK doesn't require a transit visa. pero sa ganung cases usually you can't leave the airport

Visa exemption info for PH passport holders:

Travellers with a valid visa or a re-entry permit to U.S., Japan, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand (5 countries) and travelling to any one of those countries through Korea. They must have a confirmed onward flight ticket for departure within 30 days after entering Korea to any of the mentioned countries, in addition to having no record of criminal offense in the five countries mentioned above.


You are allowed to avail of the transit tour if you have a connecting flight TO any of the indicated countries. Not so sure though if the same rule holds true for those coming FROM.
