sabi nung korean friend ko hindi daw advisable mag-stay sa myeongdong kasi maaga nagsasara lahat ng stores. sabi niya dongdaemun daw mas maganda. may nag-stay na ba sa inyo sa dongdaemun area?

We stayed in Dongdaemun area, about 10mins walk to Dongdaemun Market. Masaya kasi madami malls (tiangge type) sa paligid, me 24-hr sinehan (Megabox Dongdaemun), tapos me kakaopen lang na Lotte Mall (opened May 30 lang) sa may tapat nung tinirhan namin. Pag gabi, me night market sa sidewalk, madami din food stalls, open until 5am daw.

Yung tinirhan naming rental apartment, sa may Dongdaemun History & Culture Park subway station, me 3 subway lines dumadaan kaya convenient din. Me malapit na Lotteria and other restaurants. Malapit din sa airport limousine stop (bus 6001 - less than 5mins walk to/from Toyoko Inn). 2-3 subway stops to Myeongdong area. Pwede rin taxi, less than krw5000 kasama na ang traffic - so less than 200pesos.

^thank you sis. decided on myeongdong kasi we have an early flight to Jeju sa Gimpo masyadong malayo kung sa dongdaemun. mura lang naman taxi if ever gabihin. hehe.

So decided to stay in namsan guesthouse 2 in myeongdong and sa jeju breakfast at tiffany's pension.

hi mga sis, pag via Cebu Pacific to Seoul and arrival ng around 6am meron na ba airport limousine to Myeongdong? that is the cheapest alternative na di ba considering me mga luggages at ayoko umakyat ng stairs ng subway TIA

If bus6001 sasakyan mo, first bus from airport is 5:50am daw.

Hi sisses! Anyone who has tried the Yongin Everline LRT to Everland from Myeongdong? Is it any better than riding the subway to Gangnam then Bus 5002 to Everland? Need your feedback/inputs please.

^ awww we rode the subway to Gangnam then bus to Everland kasi last year. OK lang naman kahit medyo mahaba since nakaupo naman. Haha comfy, nakaidlip pa ko sa byahe

How can we book Korean Air tickets?  I tried booking online pero parang walang online booking ata for Korean Air Philippines?  Also, may nakapagsabi before that naka-avail sila ng promo sa Korean Air, would you know kung tuwing kelan sila may promo?

^Hi, there's an International Sales Indicator on every issued ticket. SITI/SITO/SOTI/SOTO, (although I think defunct na to as of 2005 by IATA due to the use of online booking). Anyway, not to complicate the thread with airline jargon and ma-OT, KE MNL currently still doesn't accept SOTO tickets(sold outside country of departure, ticketed outside country of departure; both of which would be the Philippines, which is what would happen if you were allowed to buy your ticket on the Korean Air website, based in Seoul). So far, the only SOTO/SOTI tickets allowed are seaman tickets which are done via PTAs. I hope I was able to explain it clearly. Anyway, that's the reason for non-acceptance of online bookings from the Philippines at the KE webbie.

International airfares are normally cheaper via travel agents. Not allowed to post/advertise ata here on FN. Let me check my inbox. Baka full na. I'll PM you recommended Korean agents.

How many days minimum kaya ang dapat i alot for Jeju island? It will be my 4th time in Seoul pero first time ko sa Jeju hehe. And were there times na na delay ang Jeju Air?

Ilang minutes travel nyo sis from Gangnam to Everland? Madali lang ba hanapin yung Exit to the Bus Stop (for Bus 5002)?

Also, nung pabalik, mga anong oras kayo umalis ng Everland? Di ba mahirap sumakay? I read somewhere kase na medyo siksikan sa bus to the point na medyo nakakahilo na.

i left my heart in korea...
south korea is definitely one of those countries na babalik-ballikan mo talaga.
we booked different hotels thru agoda. good deals!

suggest ko lang if you travel to korea, visit busan na din, it's a quiet harbour city
but ang ganda din!

sarap sa seoul.. food, shopping and city lights!
wish ko next time we stay din at gangnam area..
kaya pala gangnam style yun kasi everyone as in evryone is in style talaga.
lahat ng tao dun fashionable hehe!

when you visit the gyeongbokgung palace,
go and eat na din at tosokchon. must try ang ginseng chicken.

must try din ang mga coffee shops - i specifically liked angel in us coffee.
and don't ever go home without eating at paris baguette or better - paris croissant.
super yummy!!!

we went to nami island - ok lang sya. but maganda nga siguro dun pag winter.
i found the place to be ordinary but nevertheless worth it pa rin puntahan only if you have
extra time

i wonder now, when is the best time to go to korea?
experienced spring na so winter summer or fall na lang?

^^ parang one hour ata gangnam to everland. Yup di naman kami nahirapan maghanap. Mga 4pm na yata kami umalis sa Everland, okay naman bus, di kami nairapan sumakay.

^ nag-coffee kami sa Angel In Us, free pa kasi nag-shop kami sa Duty Free type ko Paris Baguette, sayang di namin na-try yung isa. Miss ko na rin!! Maganda sis winter. Spring and summer palang na-try ko
