Makukuha ko pa rin kaya ng buo ang 13th month pay ko kahit 2-3 months akong naka maternity leave?

Makukuha mo pa rin ang 13th month mo sis pero hindi kasinlaki ng ibang ka-trabaho mo kase hindi ka naman nag-work nung naka-ML ka. Like myself, last year ang 13th month ko lang was around 16k lang while yung mga colleagues ko, umabot ng 19k kase nga nag-work sila while ako naka-leave.

^^ some companies will only give the mandated prorata 13th month, to exclude those months that you did not work. So if you went on ML for 2 months, bale for 10mos lang equivalent na babayarang 13th month pay. So that's Basic Pay / 12 months × 10 months = prorated 13th month pay.

But some companies (like those i worked in before) give full 13th month, regardless of ML period. Parang additional benefit na nila for the female employees. Kasi they consider ML as paid leaves.

Tanong ko lang medyo nalito kasi ako sa bilang na 12 months contingency. Bale last year September 2014 ang huling hulog sa sss ng employer ko tapos wala na akong hulog after nun, tapos nag volunteer ako ng July, August, September 2015, may makukuha ba ako nun? Another thing is employed naman ako ngayon yun nga lang bago pa lang company so hindi pa nahuhulugan yung sss buo ko pa nakukuha ang suweldo.

here's how to determine if may makukuha. para sa mga nagtatanong narin.

conditions:

exclude the semester of contigency = 6 mos prior to your due date = october 2015 to march 2016. ito ang month na may hulog ka or wala, hindi counted ang contributions dito.

12 months prior to semester of contingency (ito ang counted at contribution na kasama sa computation) = count 12 months backwards from beginning of semester ng contingency. so that's october 2015. your 12 month begins from october 2014 to september 2015.

so to answer your question, yes may makukuha ka pero hindi mo mamamiximize. sana 6 months na highest amount ang cnontribute mo para maximum din na benefit makukuha mo.

that's 30k something for NSD and 41k for CS.

if 3 months lang and depende sa amount, maliit makukuha mo but still, meron parin. your contributions starting october until your due date, hindi counted.

@Foxlady, wala naman tatak yung OB History form na pinasa ko before, basta yung original na copy na pinirmahan ni OB yun lang pinasa ko.

Pano ba computatioN ng benefits kung iba iba yung amount ng contribution?

Hi po! Question lang po. I am currently 31 weeks preggy. nakapagfile na po ko sa employer ko ng MAT1 and now po pinagawa po ako ng request regarding my advance maternity benefit allowance. Natry nyo na po ba magcompute ng total amount directly po mismo sa sss website? Because I did, and I also did my own manual computation based po sa 6 highest contributions ko for the contingency period at the same naman sila ng kinalabasan. Kaso sabi po kasi ng employer ko 80% lang daw po inaallow ng ss na maadvance ko and di pa po clear [textspeak!] binigay na total amount ng coputation nila which is lower dun sa actual sss maternity ko. Ano po kayang magandang gawin kasi naiistress po ako sa kakatanong sa kanila. Thanks.

Hi girls!

Just read sa website ng sss na dapat process ang notification 60 days after the conception. 10w na ako now ang ngayon ko lang na inform HR namin. Do you think makaka-avail pa ako ng maternity benefits ko? Wala naman akong delay or absent sa pagbayad since deducted na sa salary ko every month and updated naman ang payments each time mag check ako sa website. Sayang naman if hindi ako maka-avail ny benefits ko.

^oks lang yan sis...  I think around that period din nung nag file ako sa HR   I already got my SSS benefits 2 paydays ago.. eto waiting pa rin kay baby

Ako rin makikisali na dito.  Nag submit ako ng MAT 2 sa SSS Bacoor kast September 1 (dati ako employed na nag resign at nag voluntary member na lang) but when I checked online saka sa text follow up wala daw ako maternity claim.  Yung MAT notification ko lang ang nakikita ko saka nakita ko din na I'm entitled sa claim. Sabi nung clerk sa SSS 1 month daw ang process.

Di ako nagpasa nung OB History ba un kase ang pinasa ko is yung galing sa hospital yung certificate sa operating room ba un basta parang ganun CS kase ako. Hindi naman ako hiningan ng OB history.  So ewan ko kung ano issue.  Meron ba sa inyo ganito rin ang experience?

"The consolidated bill, “Expanded Maternity Leave Law of 2015,” states that any pregnant employee in government service, regardless of employment status, shall be granted a maternity leave of 100 days, with full pay based on her average weekly or regular wages. An additional maternity leave of 30 days, without pay, can be availed at the option of the employee provided that she gives the head of the agency a written notice at least 45 days before the end of her ordinary maternity leave.
 
For private employees, the bill amends the Social Security Act of 1997. A female member who has paid at least three monthly contributions in the 12-month period immediately preceding the semester of her childbirth or miscarriage shall be paid her daily maternity benefit, which shall be computed based on the average monthly salary credit for 100 days. The 30-day maternity leave, without pay provision, shall apply to private employees, similar to those in government service."

Sa pagkakaintindi ko, tapos na ang first reading ng senate pero may 2nd and 3rd pa.. sana naman ma-approve agad para naman ma-enjoy agad ng mga buntis ang benefit na ito, at hindi din matengga dahil mag-eeleksyon na...
