stargazerelena - hindi ako nag-awol pero nung nagchange ako from employed to voluntary, nagbayad lang ako sa sss tapos check ko yung box na voluntary ang nakalagay. wala naman hiningi sa akin. what i suggest you can do is i-verify mo muna sa sss kung hanggang kailan talaga yung nabayaran ng company mo then pay mo yung mga babayaran mo (check the box that indicates voluntary), then submit mo yung mat-1. kung wala ka pang id, magpa-id ka na rin kasi you'll be needing that pag nagclaim ka (or kahit yung id stub lang). yung posting kasi can be delayed or yung payment ng company mo, baka quarterly kaya hindi pa posted.

gaano katagal? depende kung kelan mo na-submit yung requirements, yung processing ng sss at lalong lalo na yung pagdeliver ng post office. pero kung working ka, binibigay yan in advance ng company.

Thankyou sis. March 5, 2013 ako nagfile and June 27 expected delivery ko . Panu ba yun machecheck online? ask ko na dn sa philhealth ba need na kasal kayo ng husband mo? although PHC ko nman gagamitin ko ndi un sa hubby ko.

marjayrocks - for sss, magreister ka sa kanila online. makikita mo dun yung contributions mo. for philhealth, ask your company kung pwede magbigay sila ng copy ng contributions mo.

babevhie - alin ang ichecheck mo online? magregister ka na lang sa sss online. if you want to check kung magkano makukuha mo, just tick the box for voluntary member instead of entering the company's number. hindi ba updated yung philhealth mo?

hi sis... naka reg na ako sa sss nakita ko na nung feb binyaran pa nila yung sss ko pero yung march hindi na.... about sa philhealth sige manghihingi ako.ng copy... pwede pa ba makahabol sa philhealth apr to june.  thanks sis ha princessrio

just wanna ask din sana kasi im changing din to employed to voluntary, pupunta nga sana ako sa sss tomorrow morning, ask ko lang kasi yung previous contribution ko every month is 1560. 500 for me and the rest sa employer ko, but since mag vovoluntary ako, pwede ko kaya babaan yung contribution ko? mababago ba yung makukuha ko sa maternity benefit ko?
due ko is July 2013. and last contribution ko sa sss is March 2013.

@nessacosme - sis pwede mo babaan yong contribution mo since di affected yong benefit na makukuha mo. ang computation kasi nung mat. benefit is ganito:
                             
                      How is the maternity benefit computed?
                     1.) Exclude the semester of contingency (delivery or miscarriage).
                        A semester refers to two consecutive quarters ending in the quarter of contingency.
                        A quarter refers to three consecutive months ending March, June, September or December.                             
                    2.) Count 12 months backwards starting from the month immediately before the semester of contingency.
                    3.) Identify the six highest monthly salary credits within the 12-month period.
                    4.) Add the six highest monthly salary credits to get the total monthly salary credit.
                    5.) Divide the total monthly salary credit by 180 days to get the average daily salary credit. This is equivalent to the daily maternity allowance.
                    6.) Multiply the daily maternity allowance by 60 (for normal delivery or miscarriage) or 78 days (for caesarean section delivery) to get the total amount of maternity benefit.

      - sayo sis  magstart yong 12 months na count mo January 2013 backwards if ang contribution mo from Feb 2012-Jan 2013 is 1,560 around P 30k if normal and P 39k if cs.

 2.) She has paid at least three monthly contributions within the 12-month period immediately preceding the semester of her childbirth or miscarriage.
 3.) She has given the required notification of her pregnancy through her employer if employed, or to the SSS if separated, voluntary or self-employed member.

^Kung June ang due mo, then your semester is January-June 2013. Ang condition for you to qualify is to have at least 3 payments within  the 12-month period PRIOR to your semester of delivery. That's January 2012-December 2012. Kung may 3 payments ka within that period, then you're entitled to the benefit. I hope tama ang intindi ko, nasa website yun ng SSS.

kung tama pagkakaintindi ko qualified naman ako... kasi may bayad ako ng jan 2012 to feb 2013... hehe ... babalik naman ako sa work eh...

kakagaling ko lang kanina sa SSS, and i still paid yung 1560 na bnabayaran ko before.. tinanong ko kasi yung information sa sss, and ang sabi lang sakin maapektuhan pa rin daw. (OJT lang ata yun dun) . although she also told me na if i want to go lower, 2 steps down lang daw. so that would mean 1480 ata yun. eh sabi ko konti na lang naman ang difference kaya 1560 na rin ang bnayad ko.

during that time, employed ako sa family corporation ng hubby ko, which is my irereconcile pa silang mga backlogs sa SSS so til now wala pang recorded contributions.

Gusto ko sana mgvoluntary nalang muna uli kasi i'm pregnant na, i will pay sana ng semi-annually (1,560 x 6 = 9,360) . kasi nkalagay sa SSS - She has paid at least three monthly contributions within the 12-month period immediately preceding the semester of her childbirth or miscarriage.

kaso ang inaalala ko lang if i pay un premium na 1,560 til dec. 2013 (un edd ko) baka [textspeak!] naman un may problema:

    let us say that an SSS member gives birth in December 2004.

         The semester of contingency would be from July 2004 to December 2004

          The 12-month period before the semester of contingency would be from July 2003 to June 2004

          Let us assume that the six highest monthly salary credits are P15,000 each. Thus, the total monthly salary
          credit would be P90,000 (P15, 000 x 6).

          The daily maternity allowance would be P500 (P90,000/180).

         The total maternity benefit due would be P30, 000 (P500 x 60 days) for normal delivery or P39,000
         (P500 x  78) for caesarian cases.

Sa case ko, July 2012 to June 2013. may makuha ba kong maternity benefit? thanks!
