Back from my 3days 2 nights trip with my daughter from April 25 7:55 AM flight (delayed 30 mins) to April 27 9:55 PM flight to Manila (delayed 1.5 hours). This is my 3rd time but my last trip was in 2010 so medyo nakalimutan ko na yung details.
TIPS:
1. Have all your documents printed: Disney, etc. tickets, copy of kid/s birth certificate, hotel booking voucher dahil medyo matanong both Phil and HK immigration officers.
2. Web Check in is an advantage kase kahit 1 hour before kana dumating sa airport ok lang less hassle lalo kung wala ka check in baggage you can go straight to the boarding gate.
3. FOREX rates sa airport is super high / expensive so HAVE YOUR USD OR PESO CONVERTED TO HKD BEFORE YOU GO TO THE AIRPORT. Which I regret not doing.
Peso to HKD sa T3 airport is 6.6 sa HKIA 6.7; USD to HKD is 7.26
HKIA was so “user” friendly dahil may signs everywhere so for sure hindi ka maliligaw. Upon exit after immigration you will see customer service counter where you can buy or reload octopus card. Then sa may waiting area turn left to go to McDo if you’re hungry pero madami tao. After Mcdo konting lakad pa and you will see CTS where you can buy your tickets to almost all of your destination ng mas mura and hassle free dahil hindi mo nakailangan pumila sa mga amusement park na madals mahaba ang pila. As soon as I stepped out may mga taxi na agad sa labas if hindi ka sasakay ang airport express.
DAY 1 Thursday
We went straight to Disneyland. I bought a 2-day ticket from ATC which is super mura compared to Disneyland. I left my luggage sa locker for HKD60 per bag per day. It was so hot and humid that day buti nalang comfy clothes suot namen. Madaming tao pero Wait Time was between 5 to 15 mins lang so tolerable naman. We left at 6 PM and took MTR going to Lily Garden Guest house located sa TST right beside MTR station. It rained daw and hindi natuloy fireworks that day buti nalang.
TIPS:
1. Bring raincoat (Disney HKD45), umbrella, water, food but hide inside bag, wipes, jacket and shopping bag.
2. Don’t spend too much time sa loob gift shops sayang oras and mauubos ang pocket money nyo agad.
3. Plan ahead. Before you leave Manila check & make a list if rides and shows that you must / want to try to save time.
4. Fill up / have breakfast before leaving for Disney dahil mahal ang food sa loob.
5. After the parade takbo na agad kay sa rides / shows dahil wala pa masyado pila. Closed yung Mickey’s Golden show

DAY 2 Friday
Had breakfast at Mcdo Central along Queens Road then went to Cotton On & H&M just across the street at 10:30 AM 4 levels sya but didn’t check all floors due to limited time. Also, I already printed pictures of the items I’d like to buy before my flight para di sayang oras because I anticipated that the store might be big and I might spend minimum of 2 hours eh I still have to rush to Disney again to meet my friends. Super laki yung store and most items are affordable. My limit per item is HKD100 para I won’t go beyond my budget. Nakakalula yung mga boutique sa Central puro designer / signature brands.
Went back to Disney at around 1 PM this time umaambon and windy so malamig parang aircon weather that day so bring a Jacket. Stroller is HKD90 with HKD200 deposit which you can get parin naman after your visit.
TIP:
1. When you eat out ang range ng autherntic Chinese food is mga HKD20 to 35 lang dapat. If higher than that fine dining na yun.
2. McDo food is affordable naman. They don’t have spaghetti and rice. They don’t serve “customer service” too. >:(Sobrang sungit ng mga tao sa McDo lahat mainit ulo. So dapat sure ka na sa oorderin mo or else masisira araw mo dahil susungitan ka ng nasa counter. Their chicken wings is a must try.
DAY 3 Saturday
Went to Ocean Park at 11 AM. Madmaing tao but just like in Disney very short lang naman ang wait time. Weather was aircon lamig so hindi mahirap magikot. Dami nila new additions like the old hong kong street where they sell Chinese street food na affordable mostly HKD22 and up.
TIPS:
1. Hindi bawal magdala food and drinks sa loob
2. Buy your tickets before going there because mahaba pila
3. Mark the shows and rides you want to try before you go inside the park
4. If you plan to ride the boat rides like log jam / rio grande (can’t recall name) bring extra shirt
5. We spent a total of 5 hours inside but skipped a lot of rides.
After OP we headed to central again for H&M. This time super daming tao and haba pila sa fitting rooms and counter. So it’s best talaga to check their website before leaving Manila. Was at the HKIA at 8:45PM for our 9:55PM flight as we did “web check in” ulet. There are a lot of shops inside the airport so pwede pa last minute shopping. They also have a Disney store after immigration. Eton a so far yung naaalala ko. So far happy naman ako sa trip ko but medyo bitin yung shopping part which is not really the purpose of my trip naman so ok lang.
We might go back sa November dahil much cheaper ang Disney hotels during that time.
