We'll travelling to HK sa tuesday na....first time namin.. Where ba maganda mag papalit ng USD to HKD? Appreciate your replies...

sa mga pupunta ng hk meron akong natirang discounted tiket para sa madamme tassaued HK185. Napurchase ko ito sa CTS kaya lang hindi ko na nagamit dahil ngkulang na ko time

Day 1 (Saturday – April 6): Ngong Ping         
   6:00 AM      NAIA Terminal 2 Check-in
   8:00 AM      ETD to Hong Kong
   10:15 AM      Arrival in HKIA / Immigration / Map hunting / Octopus Card-150HKD outside IO customer service.preferably China Travel Services (CTS) counter for discounted tickets
   12:00 PM      Travel to Imperial Hotel (30mins by taxi)
   12:40 PM      Check-in at Imperial Hotel
   1:00 PM      Late lunch
   1:15 PM      Off to Ngong Ping Village LANTAU ISLAND (59mins by MTR) (The Ngong Ping Cable Car has two terminals, one in Tung Chung Town Centre and one in Ngong Ping.Ngong Ping Village is adjacent to the cable car terminal in Ngong Ping and is a convenient five-minute walk from the Tian Tan Buddha Statue.) Tung Chung Cable Car Terminal is adjacent to MTR's Tung Chung Station. It is a two-minute walk from Exit B of the station.
   2:45 PM      Cable Car Ride to Ngong Ping Village tour (20-25mis ride) 130HKD for RT ticket
   3:10 PM      Start Ngong Ping Village tour + Giant Buddha
   4:00 PM      Cable Car Ride to Tung Chung
   4:30 PM      Ride MTR to Central for The Peak HONGKONG ISLAND ---- take J2 exit & follow signage

By Foot - From MTR Central Station
It’s a pleasant walk from Central to the Peak Tram Lower Terminus. Along the route, there are a few famous Hong Kong landmarks.

From MTR Central station, make your way to the J2 exit and walk up to the ground level. Turn right, through Chater Garden, cross Queen's Road Central, and make your way up Garden Road. You will pass the Bank of China Tower and Citibank Plaza on your left and St John's Cathedral on your right.
Peak Tram Operating Hours :
7 am to 12 midnight(Mon - Sun & Public Holidays)
Frequency : Departs every 10 to 15 minutes
Sky Terrace 428 Opening Hours :
10 am to 11 pm(Mon - Fri)
8 am to 11 pm(Sat, Sun & Public Holidays)
   11:30 PM      Leave to return to TST
   12:30 AM      Arrive at TST (Dinner / Explore)

Day 2 (Sunday - April 7):Disneyland & Mongkok         

Day 3 (Monday – April 7): Macau         
   5:30 AM      Wake up call, prepare and eat breakfast
   6:30 AM      Off to China Ferry Terminal
   6:50 AM      Buy tickets
   7:30 AM      ETD to Macau
   8:30 AM      Arrive in Macau
   9:00 AM      Off to Venetian Hotel
   10:00 AM      Back to Ferry Terminal
   10:30 AM      Off to Senado Square
   11:00 AM      Lunch at McDo Senado Square
   12:00 PM      Explore Senado Square
   3:00 PM      Off to Grand Lisboa Casino Hotel
   3:30 PM      Rest/ eat snacks at Crystal Lounge
   4:30 PM      Off to Fisherman's Wharf
   5:00 PM      Explore Fisherman's Wharf
   5:45 PM      Early Dinner
   6:30 PM      Off to Wynn Hotel
   7:00 PM      Watch fountain show at Wynn Hotel

Day 4 (Tuesday – April 9): Central, Causeway bay, Avenue of Stars

   7:30 AM      Check-out, leave luggage
   7:50 AM      Take pictures at the Avenue of the Stars
   8:30 AM      Off to Central
   10:00 AM      Start Shopping
   12:30 PM      Lunch
   3:00 PM      Leave Causeway bay

Mahal mag taxi, may extra bayad pa ang luggage. Bus na lang kung hindi naman masyado madami dala niyong luggage. Disneyland is okay, pambata mostly ang attractions dun. Mas enjoy sa Ocean Park.

Katie1803, pa-post naman ng imperial hotel review mo. We are booked there from May 3-5 before nabasa ko sa pexers na kasama siya sa hotels na dapat iwasan. i thought maganda kasi ang location nya, then agoda reviews medyo pangit pa ang feedback. baka pwede ko pa i-cancel last minute and look for other options.

Will be traveling to HK with family this May. We booked rooms sa Yiufai Guesthouse.

This is my very standard itinerary:
Day 1 - arrive in HK 8am. Walk around. Check in stuff and rest. The Peak.
Day 2 - (Sunday)Disneyland
Day 3 - (Monday)Ocean Park
Day 4 - Nanlian Garden (optional), rest and shopping day. Evening flight back to Manila.

Medyo eezy breezy lang ang itinerary because I will be traveling with parents. I did the IT waaay back in 2008 and hindi pa ako trip-planner that time.

Just want to ask if is a better idea to switch days nung Disneyland and Oceanpark?  I read from another forum kasi to avoid Ocean Park and Disneyland during weekends dahil crowded daw. Pero di talaga maiiwasan yun. I am if super daming tao sa Disneyland kapag Sunday? Manageable crowd? Or super crowd?    Summer pa naman ang May.

Day 1- hkia eta 740am
          Ngong ping 360
          Then checn kn at golden crown guesthouse
          Avenue of stars
          Symphony og Lights

Day 2-  ocean park
            Sky 100

Day 3- check at golden crown, check in at disneyland hollywood hotel, all day disney.. Bday ni daughter..

Day 4- check out from dl hotel then check in at city econo guesthouse..
          The peak  + madame taussads + sky terrace

Day 5- no iti,just go to citygate, shopping hehe.. Then 2pm go to hkia, leave hkia at 640 pm.

Hi sisses, I have asked this question sa Macau thread but this time, it's for HK. Does HKIA charge for travel tax & terminal fee if you're about to come back na to Manila? If yes, mga how much kaya? Madami kasi kaming mag-travel kaya better na maging prepared. Nag-iisip din kasi kami kung saan better mag-book ng flight pauwi, kung sa HK or Macau. Thank you very much for your help!

Mga sis you can still enjoy Disney and Ocean Park naman kahit umuulan basta may raincoat kayo. They sell raincoat and umbrellas from 40HKD up.

Sophistique wala na kayong babayaran sa HKIA pauwi ng Manila... Sa Pilipinas lang meron.

Pampam 2 yes you can still enjoy disney madami naman kasing shows don and puro naman yon indoor. Yung ocean park ang baka di nyo ma enjoy kasi hindi kayo makakasakay ng rides and baka tigil din ang cable car.

sis may storage sila don for 60HKD per piece ng luggage...iniwan na lang namin don.

ok naman sa Golden Crown halos tabi lang sya ng MTR exit D1, maliit lang yong room pero they provide naman 'yong basic needs mo like shampoo, soap, towel, blower, sleepers and even hot & cold water..buti nga nag baon din ako ng 3 in 1 coffee sarap kasi mag coffee sa gabi malamig may cup and thermos din sila sa room. by the way may map din sila ng kowloon.

salamat sis! supah excited na kami..in less than a month nalang...weeeeeh!
