Im new here, I just searched Stylento because im looking for a stylist sa wedding (both ceremony & reception). I saw Stylento in instagram & I liked d pictures posted on their account. Confused lang ako kc catering lumalabas pag-Stylento search ko pls help. Thanks in advance for your help!

^ sis, Stylento the wedding stylist, ang in-house partner ng Purpledish which is the caterer. Pag nag avail ka ng package sa PD, included na dun ang basic styling ng Stylento.

We are done with our wedding last May 16 and we are so so dissappointed with Purpledish.. They are the major cause of stress and delay on our wedding day.. My guests are standing up for almost 2 hours because their chairs did not arrive on time. Buti na lang we have free 150 crystal chairs from our stylist so 150 were seating and more or less 80 guests are standing up since 230 ang guests namin.. Of course we cannot start with the program ng nakatayo ang mga ibang guests so we have to wait for the chairs.. Ending instead of 7pm tapos na kami sa program and 2 hours sana is for mingling with the guests since till 9pm ang rental namin sa venue, e natapos ang program past 9 na so we have to extend for an hour pa so we can just say goodbye sa mga guests..Ang mas nakakainis everytime lalapit ang mga parents ko and coordinator to ask where the chairs are laging sagot is "anjan na po","malapit na po" pero lumipas ang oras e wala

Sobrang happy and saya ng wedding namin kasi kahit ganun nagtiis ang mga guests and nagstay until the end of the program (thanks to our host Joy Catubig).. Pero ibang klase yung hassle dahil sa purpledish.. Gusto ko sana silang sulatan and mag rant pero sa sobrang inis namin ng asawa ko ayaw na namin sila makasalamuha ever.. Imagine we even paid extra 2 hour ingress so they have 7 hours in total pero na late pa rin sila.. Kesyo nagkaproblema daw sila sa chair supplier nila so need nila kumuha ng ng chairs sa Pasig where their commissary is..kesyo traffic daw...hay grabe..I want them to pay for the extra hour that we have paid for but as I have said ayoko ng makipag communicate pa sa kanila cause nothing will justify and compensate sa ginawa nila sa wedding namin na pinaghandaan namin ng asawa ko ng halos 1.5years and pinagkagastusan ng halos lahat ng pinagtrabahuhan namin.. Nakakagalit ang mga ganitong supplier..dapat wala sila sa wedding industry..kasi makakasira sila moment na isa sa to pinakamahalaga sa buhay ng isang tao..

Our wedding was last week of June at dahil sa dami mg bad reviews about purpledish we made sure to let them know what are our expectations.  During our last discussion sa account officer na nakaassigned sa amin, i asked her if nandun sya sa reception day and sabi nya wala daw. So i said make sure that what weve discussed will be follow or else... natakot yata so nung wedding day namin nandun siya at maganda naman ang reviews.  Sobrang busog mga guests and masarap daw food.

I am attending the Sunday food tasting. This is our 3rd schedule already since they've postponed on us twice already due to rains. Will still try them out for the sake of comparison, but the postponements are minus points for us, especially my mom. What if during our wedding there's a typhoon and we decide to push through, but they can't deliver? That has been our dilemma. Anyway, we will still try them out on Sunday though.

I'm pencilbooked na with KbyC. We will book them during the bridal fair for freebies. We wanted kasi sana to finish all food tastings last weekend, but yun nga, Purpledish postponed it. Because of that, we decided to book na K. We tried also Hizon's. These are the ones accredited in our venue kasi.

Anyway, we will still attend on Sunday just to give them a chance to redeem themselves. Hehe. You'll never know, if they do well, they might be able to change our minds pa. Hehe.

pagdating sa food, good choice talaga ang purpledish. lahat ng issue sa kanila before was puro about execution and service which i hope they've already resolved.

Ang negative review before we booked them last year eh about sa nauubos na desserts. May count naman yung mga dessert sa package menu nila, mukha ngang kukulangin especially if almost each guest will get every type of dessert. So we got additional set ng dessert when we booked them.

we got basic styling from Stylento, yung mga add ons, kami na nagprovide like table number, decor etc.. nasunod naman yung styling, siguro dahil basic naman, hindi ko lang matandaan yung color ng flowers kung nasunod, sabi kasi ni Tata before the wedding, if wala sila makuha nung color, yung backup color ang ilalagay.

came the wedding day, ok naman, hindi sila na-late, ang naging issues lang namin ay:
-yung isang VIP table namin (ninong/ninangs), ang tagal bago naserve ng food as in, naka-ilang follow up kami
-around 20 guests didn't make it to the wedding (150 pax invited), di naman kinapos sa food (whew), ang agreement, if may matira, i-pack ni PD for us to take home. kaso, my brother saw a crew take 1 whole cake nung pack up na, so I asked the AE non, she defended the crew, hindi daw samin yung cake na yun, sobra daw yun sa dala nila. pero bakit nilabas for serving diba. hehe. ni let go ko na lang, iwas stress that night.

pero yung mga na take home namin and ng relatives namin after the event, sabi ng family ko, parang ang konti kumpara sa nakita nilang pina-pack initially. also, turned out, nung nagtanong kami sa relatives few days after,  wala samin nakapag uwi nung roast beef.

on emails, hindi nga sila mabilis magreply, so if after a day or 2 wala silang reply even if I already sent a follow up email, I call them.

Pero, nasarapan naman ang mga guests sa food walang complaint about that.


I suggest ibilin din ng mabuti sa OTD coord nyo, mga brides to be, para mabantayan
