@tweesha- oh no! really? 210 came to eat altogether out of 250 tapos hindi enough? at first round pa lang ba yun? its really oh my!  Hindi ba sila late kaya naubusan? kasi others can come back e.. PD brides any reviews or advise panu maiwasan, knowing nag allot pa siya ng extra?

@rissy_06 Yes! Oh no talaga! PD insisted na madami daw kasing guests na nag-seconds. BUT!!! According to our guests from the last 3-4 tables na halos hindi nakakain, hindi pa sila tinatawag, napapansin nilang paubos na yung food. At that time, people should have been just about to finish their lunch, usually hindi pa kumukuha dapat ng seconds yung mga naunang guests at that time kasi patapos pa lang sila kumain. I think PD was just looking for someone to blame and pointed the finger to our guests. Pero naman! If they had brought enough food plus buffer for 250 guests, dapat mafeed pa rin nila ang 210 guests even if some of them got seconds! Hindi naman lahat nagseseconds e, and if ever they do, people would usually just get one or two viands that they liked lang. Pero wala, wiped out ang food namin! So this just really goes to show na kulang talaga yung estimate nila ng food sa amin. Other caterers nga, sobrang overflowing yung food, may nauuwi pa yung couple. Kami, ni isang butil ng kanin, ni isang patak ng juice, wala!!!

Also, the buffet was controlled by them! Sila naman nagsasalok ng pagkain e. Napansin na pala nila na may mga humihingi ng seconds at paubos na yung food, hindi muna nila ni-check na marami pang tables na hindi pa nabibigyan ng food? They should have told the guests asking for seconds na later na lang sila kumuha kasi meron pang hindi nakakakuha ng food. Major fail lang talaga. Super nakakahiya sa mga guests namin. Some of them had to eat out pa after our wedding kasi hindi talaga sila nakakain nang matino. Some guests ate from other guests' plates! Nakakahiya di ba?!? Goodness!

We were super disappointed by their service talaga. But I'm glad the couples who read my feedback took note of the points I raised at buti naman PD performed better during their weddings. Dapat lang.

Akala ko ok na when they have agreed and promised to give us a refund for the ~40 guests who did not show up. But we are just so disappointed kasi they promised to give it back 3 weeks ago pa, but until now wala pa rin kaming natatanggap na check/deposit from them. So disappointing lang. AT! Hindi na nila kami sinasagot sa email, calls and texts!!! So frustrating! I finally got hold of Chef Velmor in FB, sent him a private message, and he replied and promised again to refund, pero yun nga, until now wala pa rin. Let's see after the holidays. I hope they keep their word and give us our money back.

PD bride here din. 2011 pa wedding namin and horror story din mas malala pa ata sayo sis.  pero since di naman ako active nun sa mga gantong forum di ko rin sya nashare at ayaw ko din naman lalo pang gumulo. Nagsisi ako nun bakit hindi ko man lang shinare experience ko para man lang mawarn ibang tao. Naisip ko kasi baka sa amin lang nangyari, I believe in 2nd chances. Kaya lang nainis ako sa pambabalewala nila samin.Anyway, to make the story short. I demanded for a refund hanggang ending deadma si chef at wala ng nangyari kung ano man afterwards. Pina sa Diyos ko na lang.

Sa mga recent brides, please give your feedback? How was PD? I heard there was a December 30 wedding na hindi sila nakarating kasi naaksidente ang van nila and all the staff ay naospital. Hope it's nothing serious..

Haay..Any feedback sa mga recent brides?  para ma raise naming mga upcoming PD bride/groom.  kinakabahan ako sa kanila.  Parang sila ang magpapastress sa amin.  Ngayon palang stress na kami sa mga nababasa namin. We need some feedback para ma point out namin sa kanila.  Patulong naman sa mga recent PD brides.

Another PD Bride Graduate! What can I say? Had 150 guests, and 130 came. Everyone was able to eat including our suppliers and may take home pa. Guests were happy sa food, masarap daw but small ang servings so they had to go back for more. We added lechon para sure na may extra option for food coz I got scared na baka maubos ang food. may mga minor details that were not followed like the kinds of sweets Sa candy buffet and nawala our bar table and bartender but it's alright coz Those were freebies when we booked them. Styling was ok for the buffet and guest tables. Got e freebie upgrade din with the VIP tables when we booked them and Stylento was able to execute the peg I wanted. Though I still got a separate event stylist for other details like the backdrop, drapes, etc. Overall, happy namin kami in hubby with PD during the wedding...though may mga moments din na stressed ako with them coz barely 2 weeks before the wedding, they were not replying to me at all and Hindi pa final ang detailing with them and may mga additional requests pa ako. basta tip Lang is every time you meet for detailing, always ask for a copy of what you talked about. Diligent si Shayne with taking down notes and she's super patient with me kasi ang kulit ko talaga and pa-ulit ulit ako with my requests to make sure I'll get what I want for my wedding. So there, happy that it's done. Good luck to future PD Brides!

Hi bro hay nako ako din na stress na sa mga nababasa ko bakit ganon before puro positive comments nababasa ko kaya binook ko agad sila tapos ngayon biglang nag lalabasan ang bad comments.. omg. kelan pala wedding nyo?

Basta wg na lang nating isipin mga negative feedback.  Iraise natin sa kanila ng maayos para sa improvement nila din naman yun.  Lista lang natin.

PD / November 2014 bride here! SO far, ok naman ang performance ni PD during our wedding. Out of 150 guests, around 130 + ang dumating. Maraming guests ang nasarapan sa food, nag enjoy sa sweets lalo na desserts. Nagandahan din sila sa table decor (that's because dinagdagan ng stylist ko kaya lalong na enhance ang presentation). Yun negative feedback from guests lang is yun maliit na serving ng food lalo na sa fish. All staff were very courteous and lahat ng guests (I think) ay naasikaso ng mabuti esp the VIPs (including us!). I notice na very attentive sila kasi from our view, kita namin na libot ng libot yun mga waiters.

Para sa mga sis na upcoming pa lang ang wedding with PD, tutukan nyo lang sila ng mabuti. If may nega reviews about them, let them know in a nice way para come your wedding day, ma-improve nila yun service sa inyo. You can also ask your coordinator (if you have one) to look after all your bilins with them.

Oh, theres a lot of horror stories now about PD. Maybe they are over booking. June pa naman wedding namin for sure madami kaming kasabay. But still, that is not a valid reason. We are spending our hard-earned money to have a decent wedding.  Well, i will talk to them and let them know of these reviews.

Ayayay! Sad to hear na pumapalpak ang mga suppliers sa wedding. Once in a lifetime event lang ito kaya sana each supplier will give their best effort.

this is sad, I loved Purpledish pa mandin when we had our foodtasting dati. Di lang pasok budget ko sa kanila kaya di sila ang nakuha ko.

Sad to hear about these reviews. PD has a very good start. I think they need to manage their bookings better. If they cannot expand to make sure they won't fall short for all their bookings, I think they should limit their weddings in a day to make sure everything will be good.

Was told before that PD can handle up to 4 weddings per day. My tip is to get a separate stylist and just let them take care of the food.
