Turmeric Mask

I want to try this but read that powder form is less effective than the root itself. Meron ba nabibili na root dito sa Pinas?

Ang alam kong local version nito yung luyang dilaw, but i think di sya madaling hanapin. I was very young pa when I last saw one.  Binibigay lang sa amin, yung younger sister ko kasi nagkaron ng skin problem noon at walang gamot or oitment na prescribed ng doctor na nakagaling. Yung luyang dilaw lang.

^sige sis.. 2 days ko pa lang sya nagamit & so far wala naman adverse reaction skin ko pero update kita after 1 week

Im trying a new mask, turmeric  mixed with milk and rice powder. Im planning to do this for one
Month everyday, update mo kayo sa result. Im on my 4th day of doing this , so far I love the result.
Again, open pores ako with blackheads. Nag iimprove yung skin texture ko plus nagagamot [textspeak!] rashes ko

Sis im not sure pwro sabi nila same daw, so far effective naman [textspeak!] nabinili lang na powdered form sa market.
Try mo I mix sa rice powder.

i use turmeric powder, rice powder and kalamansi naman. nakaka brighten ng skin saka nalelesen dark spots nga

1 week of using turmeric mask. Mix ko lang 1 tsp ng turmeric to 2 tsp ng yogurt. Love the effect after. Glowing and tight skin plus I noticed naglighten na pimple marks ko and yes it keeps the pimples at bay din. I'll continue using this everyday for a month and see if the pimple marks will disappear talaga.

Does it stain?

^ Yes it does.  Para ngang The Simpsons after hehe.  It is advised na haluan ng honey ito para hindi masyadong mag-stain at mas madaling tanggalin sa pagbanlaw.

Natawa naman ako sa The Simpsons sis sima hahaha! Pero mukhang unavoidable talaga? Kahit may honey minimized lang pero di talaga mawawala coloring?

kahit haluan ng yogurt may stain pa rinpero 'di naman ganun ka-yellow IMO.

...gumamit ako ng hrdrogen peroxide para tanggalin ang stain sa balat.

sis yes it stain talaga pero nawawala naman nakaka 3 washes ako ng face. I switched to a tender care for my face para mas maiwan ko sha sa face ng matagal when washing my face pangbanlaw ng mask. medyo mahapdi kasi if 3x na washing tapos kojic yun gamit ko.

@ j.adore, sis, hindi naman na kumakapit yung stain pag may halong yogurt or honey.  After ilang banlaw eh tanggal na rin.

i'm still undecided whether to love this mask or not or maybe super sensitive lang talaga skin ko. there are times maganda effect sa akin but other times biglang may susulpot na pimple.i've tried mixing it with milk then other times with yogurt and cinnamon.

I love this turmeric and rice powder. Lesser yung stain nia, I did it for a week daily And I love the effect. I have open pores and May lumabas
Na pimple sakin na super big but after a week halos konti nalang [textspeak!] marks.  Do this daily for a week then saka kau mag decide if no effect talaga.

^ sis kung gagamit ng rice powder ano ratio gamit mo? Ano ba sa tagalog ng rice powder? Sa palengke ko lang kasi plan bilhin yun eh or pwede na yun ordinary na bigas na dinurog? Pwede ko naman ata ipowderize yun sa blender.

May nakagamit na sa inyo nun mismong luyang dilaw? Yun fresh pa? Paano kaya kung yun ang gagamitin?

Any updates?

Been using this on/off on my face and armpits.  Hindi na ko pinipimples masyado. Hopefully malessen ang hair growth ko sa armpits
