^ hi sis pinakadoodle. The place itself is maganda na. It's OK na walang add-on decor na. I attended a wedding na wala na silang pina hang sa ceiling and the place still looked gorgeous. I-compensate mo na lang with good lights from your L&S. I'm getting their hanging crystals/chandeliers tho, kasi gusto ko lang ng additonal effect. Hehe!

sis pinkadoodle, i've attended a wedding narin there wherein they didn't upgrade the ceiling. they even got nga lang the regular lights eh and ang ganda pa rin! altho yes, consider upgrading your lights and sounds kasi it would look a lot prettier

Hi fellow glass garden b2bs! may tanong ako. originally i wanted to get upgraded lights, hanging crystals & crystal chandeliers. But now i want to cut back on costs & forego some. Which do you think should i drop? Upgraded lights or hanging crystals & chandeliers?

I am planning to book GG too for my wedding in 2017 pa naman.
I am interested with their Comprehensive package but I'm a kind of worried regarding their Photo and Video supplier. Any of you po ba naexperience na ayung mga suppliers nila?

Hi JanDel, I didn't get their comprehensive package because I enjoy researching and having the freedom of choosing my own suppliers.. hehe but that's just me, I suggest you make thorough research of the suppliers included in their comprehensive package and decide if you like their output.

^same here. we only chose the venue+caterer package. we wanted to choose our own suppliers para no regrets.

Around 300k for 200 pax sis. We just paid additional amount few days before because we reserved additional 30 guests.

I have a friend who booked another venue na mas nagustuhan nila after booking GG. Question lang if theres any way to get daw their 20k dp back? I have no idea and experience dealing with GG so just checking with those who have. Lenient ba sila or strict? The couple recognizes their fault naman but of course hoping lang if theres a way pa to get it back. They booked nadin naman the other venue di palang nagsabi sa GG. Thanks!

^as far as i know the 20k is non-refundable.. re-bookable lang.. advice her to check her contract with GG it has a clause about cancellations. She can talk to her AE in person though, maybe there's a way around it ☺

^Thanks juwie! Natatakot pa ata siya icontact again yung AE without a plan on what to say. Hehe. I feel partly guilty since I was the one who showed him the other venue after he had booked GG na. I asked lang naman why he didnt think of it given his theme hehe. Then they still went for ocular and when even the oldies fell in love with it they couldnt not book it na. 20k hurts when the couple is on a budget! :s I wish lang i could help.

^Sis, I'm not a GG bride, but would like to share my two cents. Your friend can review the terms of the agreement signed with GG especially those pertaining to down payment and cancellation. Who knows baka there are loopholes where she may be able to recover a portion of that amount. Hehe

P20,000 down payment is non refundable and non transferable. Client should pay the 50% of total amount after 1 month of reservation, otherwise, they get charged additional 5% penalty for non-payment/delays on scheduled payment EVERY MONTH. Now sparklingjewel, if your friend booked the venue for a while now, tell him/her to cancel asap before she gets more charges. And by the way, your friend should know all these info if she's already reserved because GG gives a copy of the Agreement right after booking them. Sorry to hear though that she'll be losing a huge amount of money. Check na lang din if GG can do something about it.

^caleeice I am quite sure the couple knows the rules that's why they accepted that worst case it is really a forfeiture, but yes to be clear what is to be attempted is just searching for a loophole, to be honest. :p They were just hoping to have a good one before telling their AE. But they've already booked the other venue narin (di na nakapigil haha) and have accepted that losing the full 20k can definitely happen.

I think they have only booked it for two weeks when they cancelled so no 50% dp yet, just 20k.

grabe, sayang naman yung 20k  they could have used it pa sana for add'l food. I have already attended a wedding in GG last December 2014, maganda yung place and photogenic at convenient pa since covered yung place kasi it rained during that time, Typhoon Ruby yata yun.

Omg umuulan din pala kahit december. Well, 2 lang kasi season natin either maaraw o maulan. Advantage yan ng mga covered venues. Sayang nga the 20k.. it's a big amount to let go.

^Yes sis, napaka unpredictable na ng weather natin ngayon. Remember yung Typhoon Yolanda that happened in November 2013 naman tapos nung dumating si Pope this January, may bagyo din. O di ba kelan pa ba bumagyo ng January dito sa Pilipinas? Then yung kay Sitti naman na wedding last May sa Baguio, summer yun pero it rained on her big day! Maganda naman yung effect ng white umbrellas pero I can imagine yung hassle nila ng fiance nya pati na yung guests nila. At least pag covered, di na kelangan mag isip ng Plan B. Less stress at less gastos din

Yes ang possibility ng pag-ulan ay all year long.. Ang sure month lang yata na hindi umuulan ay April. By then, sobrang init naman

Yeah marchbridetobe sayang nga pero naguilty man ako for them, decision naman nila yun. Hehe. I just showed my friend an SDE of a wedding there na super gusto ko tapos next thing I know, they did ocular pa, and with some of their parents! How do you say no to the parents when they already fell in love with the place na diba. Haha. Sobrang nagustuhan nila kasi it will enhance their theme. Summer wedding, outdoor cocktails venue.. sana naman di umulan, at di rin super init
Ako mismo 20k is a big deal super sakit to let that go, thinking of all the things you could do with it pero sila nga considering budgeted wedding pa yan ha, nakalet go. Hehe

True sis marchbridetobe and juwie, very unpredictable nga ang weather sa Pilipinas.  Medyo kinabahan din kami ni hubby noo  kase days before our wedding umuulan every afternoon.. around last week ng May yun. Buti na rin nakisama ang weather on our wedding day, plus glass garden is very cozy anyway, puro greens and air conditioned. Walang pinagpapawisan sa guests.

sis belle_v2g, actually yun nga ang medyo concern ko sa venue namin kasi aircoolers lang ang pwede. Buti na lang may friend ako na dun din gaganapin ang wedding this december so at least maeestimate ko kung ilang mga coolers ang dapat naming irent. I have attended an open garden wedding na din kasi sa Tagaytay eh, sa Le Jardin. Ayun umulan din buti na lang tapos na yung ceremony and nasa reception na kami. Good thing prepared sila at may tent. Di naman malakas yung ulan pero kasi sobrang init nung umaga then umulan ng di masyadong malakas so sumingaw lang yung init, sobrang lagkit And di maganda sa photos yung tent eh, mas okay pa yung hanging ferns :p
