Is it just me? or parang di na talaga uso masyado to give guest souvenirs?

I think this is because of the popularity of photo booths and so many couple consider that to be their giveaways already. And also the ones that give souvenirs, just layout a table for guests to pick one souvenir. Before kasi, coordinators really go table to table to distribute the souvenirs.

I don't think I'll be giving souvenirs anymore.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Kami din sis chili I dont feel giving na but the fact na oot yung wedding namin somehow gusto ko meron din something to compensate them its an intimate wedding and some are coming from abroad pa. Anyway my budget for my guest is 100 php only since we love scents we are giving them room sprays or thinking also of candles.

We allotted a budget for souvenirs but later on decided wag na. It's because we were already throwing an after-party for everyone. We felt like souvenirs would be too much and besides, we can't think of a single thing that all our guests would find useful. We gave souvenirs for the ento members and PS though.

lots-o I wanted to give scented candles too but someone told me its bad luck, also succulents daw. Hayyy But I don't believe in those things. Perhaps I wont give souvenirs unless I really have extra budget =)

For our PS, we gave Banana Macadamia jam from Antonio's and a can of Malagos tablea chocolate, while for our SS, we gave the same jam then a bar of Malagos chocolate. We just sourced our sinamay bags from Dapitan

for our wedding, we gave away mason jars. the guests used these right away during cocktails and we also put chalkboard stickers on them so guests can label them with their names. we thought it would be a great way for guests to introduce themselves to each other and mingle.

my husband and i divided gift giving duties to our secondary sponsors, maid of honor, and best men according to whose side the person is from so my husband took care of his side, which was all the best men, and i took care of my side, which included the secondary sponsors and maid of honor. my husband gave fountain pens in wooden boxes he lasercut himself. i gave my ladies cecelia ahern books, all my friends love to read and that's something we all share. for the male secondary sponsors, i gave them mugs.

for the principal sponsors, we gave glass carafes to the ladies and vacuum flasks to the gentlemen, all sourced from ikea. we also gave our priest a vacuum flask together with a card and his stipend.

For our June 2016 wedding, we're planning to give tote bags. For our PS, we're still pondering.  Although, we saw some small sake set and a mini Japanese tea set. We're leaning towards that at the moment.

Towards the end of 2014, I attended a travel-themed wedding and the couple gave away small passport-like notebooks to guests. Their principal sponsors received the same giveaways, but with Parker pens. 

For my friends' Bohemhian-themed wedding, they gave away small glass containers with coffee beans. The ninongs and ninangs each got a big bag of Bukidnon-made coffee beans. The newlyweds are both coffee lovers.

In another wedding that I attended, the giveaways were colored mason jars - pink for the ladies and blue for the men. Many of the guests appreciated the jars as they're really useful. One of my friends, who had a gift shop, said she was planning to use it to hold the free candies and chocolates she hands out to customers.

Lastly, I also attended a wedding were the giveaways were rosaries inside homemade pouches. The men's rosaries were blue, while the women got pink ones. Same for the pouches. I still have mine up to now and my cousin's wedding happened around 14 or 15 years ago.
