mga sis, pwede po magpatulong?

Whats a good nailpolish remover that doesnt dry out nails? And doesnt take forever to remove? currently grabbed whatever I could get, its "My Nails" available sa grocery but weak rin siya magremove po and dries out my nails! zzz

also, know any good nail strengthener? My nails tend to chip and peel.. huhu

^Usually yung mga mabilis makaremove ng polish has a higher acetone content kaya mas drying din.  While yung with lesser acetone content naman would really take forever to remove polishes.  In short, unfortunately, you can not have both.  From the tips I gather from known nail polish bloggers, to help lessen the nail dryness (peeling and brittleness), put cuticle oil or hand/nail cream after removing polish and huwag muna maglagay agad agad ng another polish.  Another would be to put nail treatments like OPI's Nail Envy to strengthen and moisturize the nails.  As for nail polish removers, I usually use the one from Etude (yung pink), ok magremove and not too drying.  HTH!

pinaka ok na nagamit kong nail polish remover is Bobbie sobrag ok nya ang bilis mawala ng nail polish. brand ng nail polish that I love the most is Caronia really pigmented it last a week basta maingat lang.

I'm planning to invest sa gel manicure kit, Para sa bahay na lang ako, nabobored kasi ako pag sa salon, ang tagal. 

anong brand ba na maganda for gel polish and LED lamp?

mga sis hindi ba kayo natatakot na expose sa UV light yung nails nyo every now and then?para sa mga gumagamit ng gel polish. Para sa mahilig magpalit palit ng nail polish ito ha haha. Di naman siguro delikado kung occassional.Pero meron kasi mga adik magpalit ng nail design na gel edi laging nagpapacure yun sa UV lamp diba

Fear ko rin yan lalo na ngayon that I have a lot of parties to go to, I have to change nail polish more frequently and walang resting period.  Risk talaga so dapat meron base coat na good brand like orly, and bring your own supplies.  Minsan nagtitipid mga nail salon you don't know what brand they are using.

aww ganun ba sis nako okay ba lagyan nalang ng sunblock din ang hands noh bago ka punta ng salon kung magpapacure sa UV lamp. Yan din minsan advice ng ibang kakilala ko bring your own tools.Pero parang ang dalang ko lang makakita ng ganun.

Carnegie boutique sis nag benta ng Essie polish mas mura compare sa ibang online shop. Thrice na ko bumili. Yun Iba sa bazaar or online shop nag sell sila.

Since dito na ako sa manila nag stay nakakapanibago lang ang mga prices kasi sa province usually 100 pesos ang manicure pedicure pero orly, opi, china glaze, etc na rin ang mga nail polish... Kaso di ako makakauwi sa province kaya dito ako sa nailaholics magpapa mani-ped and it cost me 450 pesos, yung sa paa cleaning lang/no nail polish. Obligado ba magbigay ng tip or kahit wala na kasi namahalan ako. Haha

I was in a loooong nail polish slump until recently when I was invited to try out Girl Stuff. I haven't back read much if there are other fans here but my oh my -- I'm so hooked on this brand! Prior to using Girl Stuff, I'm pretty loyal to Essie and Chanel when it comes to luster and longevity. Feeling ko sulit yung cost nilang dalawa cause they don't damage my nails and they pretty much do the job. Girl Stuff though is proving to be a very strong candidate in these arenas. Ang tibay nya! 5 days of no chip and gel like shine whenever I use their top coat!

I got 4 bright colours apt for summer as a press token and I had the chance to try other colours on the actual event. From 4 colours, 1 top coat, and Matte Magic (a must have from the brand!), I now have 15 bottles from Girl Stuff in less than 3 weeks. LOL Super kaka-addict and the commitment isn't that bad -- around 150 max per bottle lang.

Are there other underdogs that are top notch quality that you can think of?

@wahine: agree ako sayo! I'm so into imported nail polish din - Essie, China Glaze, Orly, OPI and Sally Hansen. I have like 200+ bottles in my collection. Then minsan naglalakad ako sa SM North nakita ko yung booth ng Girl Stuff, na-amaze ako sa colors and sa prize. Colors kasi meron sila nung mga colors na matagal ko ng hinahap pero hnd ko makita sa local or hnd available sa imported nail polishes, although hnd naman ganun karami yung selection din. And for the prize as well since Big 3 free din yung nail polishes. Ang na try ko pa lang is yung top coat nila kasi yung binili ko na 3 bottles of nail polishes from them pinangregalo ko T_T nung binili ko na parang ayoko ng ipangregalo haha! and sa kanila lang ako nakakita ng nail art accessories like french manicure tip guide stickers and nail art striping tape. Tagal ko na kasing naghahanap nun wala akong alam na bilihan.


Share ko lang din mga sis I live in Eastwood and dun ako bumibili ng mga imported nail polishes like Orly, Sally Hansen, China Glaze and Essie kasi bagsak presyo compare sa mall prices. Example yung Orly nabibili ko ng 200 per bottle, then kapag swerte ka baka bigyan ka pa ng discount nung tindera hehe. 
Unahan lang sa pagbili kasi may mga namamakayaw...minsan kapag nahuli ka konti na lang mapagpipilian na shades. Hnd ako bumibili ng OPI sa tiangge kasi kadalasan fake OPI yung mga tinda dun.

Sis san sa Eastwood ka bumibili?

Girls, do you know san makakabili ng Elianto nail color. Love ko tong brand na to kasi mura pero quality nail polish talaga. Yung 1 bottle ko rin antagal ng itinagal. Sa Rob Galleria ako nakabili before sa department store pero parang wala na akong nakikita ngayon dun. Sa Watsons kasi puro local brand lang nakikita ko.

I've come to realize that i really love only one brand of nail polish, i used to have chanel, china glaze, opi and orly polishes but really fell in love with just one brand which is essie. i have almost 50 bottles to date, can't get enough of them. they don't chip easily and they have great color selection.

Like ko yung gel effect dior vernis, i bought yung basic deep red massai. Next time yung medyo beige naman kunin ko. Gusto ko rin pala ng chanel vernis in frenzy, pero ang hirap kasi nung brush ng chanel mahaba na slim. Yung sa dior malapad na rounded yung edge mas okay for me.

Ganun ba talaga yung seche vite top coat parang nagsshrink sya after? Ganda pa naman nya kasi glossy and quick-dry... Ano pa ibang top coat na super glossy and quick dry? Ty
