Sometimes, my love grows cold...
« on: March 26, 2013, 06:40:15 pm »
kasi minsan nakikita ko yung attitude niya na ikina tuturn off ko..like minsan mahina siya sa decision making minsan problema ang inaakyat niya sa bahay..wala naman siyang vices and he is nice naman in some ways pero minsan siya mismo pinapakita niyang weak siya na ako pa ang mag eencourage sa kanya na lakasan niya loob niya...minsan ang tigas pa ng ulo di sumusunod sa mga dapat sundin na dapat kaya napapahamak...at times, i asked God to fill my needs na di niya napupunan kasi if i would turn to other man darating rin ang time na may kapalpakang mangyayari ...kaya ganun..sometimes talaga di ko makuhang magsabi ng i love you sa kanya dahil sa ganito....kasi a colleague of mine asked bakit di ako nagiilove you sa kanya pag tumatawag siya sa phone sa office.  :(

Alam mo sis, i read somewhere, i just cant remember... That in reality, it is the woman in the relationship who is really the stronger sex.
Yan kasi ang experience ko, kahit pa sabihin mo na sa kanya ang last and final decision, it is our inputs along the way that will make him decide what/when/how, indirectly, it is really our decision.

Siguro sis, do not concentrate on his weakness. Try to list down all the things you like/love about him... Dont focus on the negative side...
Hope you can rekindle your love for your hubby...

Kaya mo yan sis! :)

Baka kasi hinde nya maramdaman yung tiwala mo kaya yung self esteem niya mababa hanggang sa ayan ikaw nalang lagi nagd-decide.

Wag ka mag-focus sa mga kahinaan niya sis. walang taong perfect, i-focus mo yung sa positive sides niya and try to remember why you married him in the first place. Goodluck sis  :)

Only acceptance ang makaka heal ng pain and heartaches natin. I don't lose hope and I'm always hoping for better days. Hope you too sis

nabasa ko sa isang thread dito sa GT something like, "Men are like dogs. They can be trained." sorry if medyo offensive yung metaphor but there's actually some truth in it. I'm not saying they'll always be a "yes man" sa lahat ng sinasabi natin, robotic na yun. but chances are, wag lang tayo mapagod mag-advise, kasi icoconsider din nila yan eventually.

napansin ko sa hubby ko whenever I ask him to do something, he doesn't follow right away. I let him do his own diskarte din, basta ako nagsabi ako ng opinion ko. And then eventually malalaman ko, sinunod pala nya yung advice ko. :) we wives really do have the power of influence over our man.

my man is not perfect. pero di ko rin sya kinukulit or nina-nag about his flaws. enough na sa akin nasabi ko once or twice. and then I try to lessen the expectations. natutuwa na lang ako later on to find out he has considered my advice. pero pero pero, let us not make them feel na para bang, "see, I told you so." make them feel na sila pa rin yung gumawa nung decision. that will boost their ego. encourage them always. praise them pag may nagawa silang maganda, kasi motivation yun to do more good kasi lam nilang napapansin effort nila.

I know it's easier said than done.

hi sis, part of our role as wives is to encourage our husbands.  wag kang manawa.  always help him. encourage him to make the decision (may not be the best decision) so he will learn. you can help him by giving him the pros and cons of every decision.

i suggest make time for communication.  that way, makakapagopen up kayo sa isa't isa. makikita mo yung strength nya on other things.

dumadating din ako sa ganyang point sis pero pinapalipas ko then id try to find ways on how to boost his ego..naiencourage siya if i give positive remarks sa ginagawa niya then nasusurprise ako minsan, nahihigitan niya yung expectations ko..if his decision turns out bad,i contain my frustration..i just pray and try my very best to reassure him of my support..then he would open up about his failure, how he felt about it and his new plans..so napansin ko, when i've learned to embrace his weaknesses, i was able to appreciate his strengths..work on your feelings and thoughts, try to think positive sis..focus on the things he did well..

OR nakikita mo pero deadma mo  (kasi sabi mo love mo eh!)

My advise to you is to read a book that could probably help you understand men and how to influence them.

I've recommend this to most of my friends and they really find it helpful.

"Men from Mars, Women from Venus". May free download to net so try it.

i had the same feeling before sis...but when we were counselled and had my one on one with my counseller, na-enlighten naman ako. before madalas ako magburst out pero ngayon medyo napipigilan ko na. I was read a bible verse na husband love your wife. woman should submit to husband, parang ayoko kasi I don't want being controlled talaga. ngayon, I am trying to learn as much as I could. May improvement naman yung marriage namin. I would agree with sis georgous gal, we really need to encourage our husband and pray for them. as wives, we are the light of the family, pag tayo nag-let go, didilim na, I mean we are the ones to pull the strings together. just my thoughts  ;D

maraming maraming salamat sa mga replies ninyo...

to answer a post here...di ko naman akalain na ganun kalala..shempre tayong mga girls kadalasan nabubulagan ng dahil sa pagibig kaya di napapansin agad yung flaws na lalong lumalabas pag kasama mo na sa iisang bubong!

last good friday, i joined an overnight prayer assembly..di sha sumama dami niyang tanong di na lang sumama...sabi ko hay naku pagdarasal na nga lang kita na nawa mas tumalino ka!

haaay!

Sabi nga ng isang old proverb : Before you marry keep both eyes open; after marriage keep one eye shut.

Kahit kasi anong sabi sa atin na kilalanin mo muna bago ikasal, deadma talaga ang girls kasi that's how we fall in love.

I still acknowledge more his good traits. I still see his better side than his weaknesses. Come to think of it, I also have a bad side, pero he tolerates me. Unfair kasi.

Minsan try to see things in a different perspective, sis.

^ kasi nga sis, you keep seeing his mistakes eh. Hindi sa kinakampihan ko sya ha, I am just putting things in a different light. Maybe he is also doing his best. It may not be enough, pero try to say it in a better way na hindi masydo blaming ang dating at pointing fingers ang effect.

Kasama yan sa test nyo as a couple. Kelangan may pagsubok para tumatag. Malamang, yan ang pagsubok nyo sis. Gaano na ba kayo katagal na kasal, if I may ask?

Ahh, so medyo matagal na. Kunsabagay, everything is a work in progress. I am just almost 5 years married.

Kung paulit-ulit sis, I think you should have a mediator and have a heart to heart talk with your husband.
