Skaterboy: sis hindi sya masyado nag sesettle sa lips ko unlike mac lipsticks. Siguro kasi pencil form and matte pa. I want dolce vita velvet matte, kelan kaya ako luluwas.

^ nars sg was my hg a few years back. Maganda siya to use with sigma f80, you get a flawless finish, great for photos too. Nagsawa lang ako and wanted something longer lasting on my oily skin kaya I switched but I still consider it to be one of the best foundations accessible to us here.

2450. Nope, not good for oily skin since dewy ang finish nya. You might wanna try Sheer Matte instead.

I hope my memory serves me right but in waaay previous posts, there were several ladies who claimed na misnomer yung "Sheer Glow" at "Sheer Matte" since interchanged ang effect nila: Glow- better daw for oily, Matte- causes oily skin to oil up even more.

Does anyone remember which past thread yun? Or nasa Favorite Liq Foundation thread ata... gaaah.

^I agree. sheer matte is thicker, harder to blend, feels heavier on the skin and tends to oil up faster. I have oily skin and had very oily skin din when sheer glow was my HG. I had to use a primer though and note that sensitive skins have issues with the formula of sheer glow breaking them out or causing reactions. However, the formula has a very nice finish - I wouldnt call it dewy - more of an illuminated matte finish, lasts long enough and photographs well. Still in my top 5 foundations.

For reference, I have oily, acne-prone skin.

thanks sis! i strongly remembered it kasi it seemed weird. so i said ill never forget that in any case i'd be purchasing nars foundies.

i tried NARS SG last year and it dried up my cheeks and emphasized pores.

^ depende sis sa preference pero kung pagka match sa skintone, talagang mas oks si nars tm.
ako mas type ko si nars tms over my bb creams. mas sakto kasi sya sa skintone ko and
maganda din coverage. kaya nga lang,hiyangan pa din.

mas okay ba si NARS TM than Bobbi Brown TM? I've tried Laura Mercier before pero ang dewy sobra. May coverage ba kahit papano si NARS? Gusto ko i-try yung Alaska but hindi ko sure yung shade. Napadaan lang ako sa store saglit, okay siya sa back ng hand ko pero i wonder kung magb-blend sa face. I'm NC25-30 and dark na si St. Moritz eh.

Yes, mas maganda sya sa Bobbi brown. actually hindi ko gusto ang bobbi brown,
mapa liquid foundie,bb cream, etc.
I'm using nars tm in alaska and finland pero mas shade match ko ang alaska.
same tayo sisna nc25/30.
