OMAN Bride here..! Yes! Atlast nakapag register na ako here sa girltalk. =D I am a July Bride 2014, Girltalk helps me a lot in finding suppliers and ideas about wedding preparations. Kahit puro browsing and stalking lang ginagawa ko.  As of this time, still anxious about the big event, plus scouting additional suppliers.

Actually sis si h2b lang ang overseas. I went to Archdiocese of Cubao and wala naman kaming binayaran.

Canada bride here. Im getting married in the Philippines on May 2,2015. So far booked pa lang namin wedding planner and videographer. No final venue yet but hopefully in a couple of days meron na, still waiting for our wedding planner's response eh.

Edmonton ako, sis. dito ako sa canada ikakasal. we're both pinoys naman kaya lang our familes are here naman, mas convenient na dito kame kesa gagastos na sa kasal + plane tickets.

kelan ang kasal mo, sis? pero sa pinas kame nagpagawa ng souvenirs.

Joining.  Planning stage kami although wala pang definite date. Kasi mejo conflict hahaha. Either Nov or Dec. Nasa Australia ako  Ang hirap di ko alam uunahin ko.

Sis lapit lang tayo, like 45 mins away. Our family and relatives are in the philippines kasi kaya dun kami kakasal. Sa september 18th 2015 ang kasal namin.

kame naman Sept 5, 2014. pero dito sa manitoba(raised na ako dito and families are here) kaya fam na lang ni fiance (edmonton) ang mag travel.

hinde ka ba mahihirapan to change yung documents mo after?

^ dyan kami mahihirapan sis kasi pagbalik namin dito for sure wala pa akong maipapakitang marriage certificate. amendment ng passports, permanent resident card namin di pa din magagawa until makuha namin yung MC.

sissies, what documents do you have to prepare when getting married in the Philippines? (fiancé and i are both Canadian citizens) And how many days do you have to be in the Philippines before your wedding day?

yung friend ko, umuwe sa pinas 7 weeks before their wedding. tpos yung asawa nya, mga 3 weeks before ata.  depende kung ilang months ang makukuha nyo na bakasyon. or kung gaano kabilis yung processing nung mga requirements.

sis mj_dolly , based din ako canada and magpapakasal kami sa philippines, permanent residents nga lang kami ni h2b. so what we will do is dito na kami aatend ng pre-cana (catholic engaged encounter) para di na masyado hassle paguwi. hindi pa din ako kumpil so instead na sa pinas ako pakumpil, dito ko na lang din gagawin.  but this will depend kung payag ang church nyo sa pinas na kunin dito yung mga requirements na yan. i verified muna with our church (san sebastian) kung pwede nga and they said they will recognize those naman.

i guess the bottom line is check with your respective church ano mga requirements nila for someone na citizen ng ibang bansa. you'll just have to watch out sa uwi kasi ang marriage license ata they will release 10 business days after mo magapply.

ang kasal namin is september 18th 2015 so uwi kami kahit mga last week of august para may time pa din magayos na mga kelangan pa ayusin, ayoko lang magahol in case may unexpected na mangyari.

7 weeks? tagal naman! hehe.. I'm thinking 2 or less weeks before the wedding uwi ko. i'll make sure na lang that everything is in place before i go pinas.

by the way sis, another question here, do you think pwede magpaksal dito sa canada kahit tourist visa lang? i have a brother kasi from the US and his gf is in the philippines (both are not canadians), they wanna get married here kasi andito whole family nila. pwede kaya?
