^ sis, yes magaganda gawa ni Gretchen. if you want layered skirt, Php45k ang quote ni Gretchen sa akin dati. I decided na flowy A-line na lang para pasok sa budget. Si Gretchen na din nag-suggest sa akin ng pasok sa budget and nagustuhan ko naman. package na din so included na ang ring/arrhae pillows, cord, 2 veils, and a bag.

shobz, sis I'll introduce you sa gumawa ng gown ko, ako nag design and bumili lahat ng materials, naghanap lang ako ng gagawa:) hands on kasi ako sa lahat..but all the handwork paid off naman, I can help you with your wedding preps:) Do you have na layout for invitations and logo? I can make it for you?

^sis shegie_285 nice ganda ng gown tamang tama sa beach wedding mo. try ko din mag inquire sa kanya and BTW I love the hanger. I was also planning of making it as one of my DIY. 

^sis ms.peach wow so nice of you naman. salamat ng marami in advance. as of now meron na kong layout sa invitation. travel theme kasi kami so passport yun invitation naming yun nga lang di ko pa tapos kasi di pa din final lahat. yun logo paiba iba kasi isip ko.. hahaha..  so I'm open to suggestion..  and problem ko yun pagpriprint at kung saan ako pwede bumili ng mga materials.
regarding sa gown kung saan mas makakamura at kakayanin yun design na gusto ko dun ako. meron kabang mga picture ng gown na gawa nya? Tagaytay wedding ka din ba ms.peach?

thanks sis shobz. the hanger was from MelaFied, bought it without paalam kay hubby kase wala sa budget. hehe... nasa hiraman na nga dito sa Ireland, hindi ko maiwan sa Pinas kase gusto ko nandito sa akin. practice lang sa wire, wala akong tiyaga mag-practice magbend ng wire.

singit sa passport, my invites were passport invite din, ang nagprint is paperflair. okay sila mabilis ang layout. my mom got it sa bridal fair, its Php80 each minimum 100 pieces.  my mom said cheapest she saw was around Php50 but hindi daw maganda at manipis ang paper. most expensive is Php120. maganda daw talaga kaso nanghinayang mom ko so she settled for the Php80. makapal na din paper ng passport ko.

^hehe try ko din mgpractice sa wire if hindi ibang paraan nalang gagawin ko.. hehe wala na kong makitang ibang picture ng mga gawa ni Gretchen naka private kasi fb nya..

Sa passport eh ako lang gagawa tapos paprint ko or dito ko print sa office.. ahaahaha..  kasi kung mgpaprint pa ko dagdag sa budget eh over over na kami baka bawasan pa ng h2b ko yun budget ko sa gown..

^ add mo na lang sya sis. actually she doesnt use her facebook, lahat ng pictures na makikita mo dun puro tinag lang siya ng mga brides nya.   actually after i booked her, dun ko lang siya inadd sa facebook and narealise na ang gaganda nga ng gawa nya. she has a wordpress but its not udpated 2010 pa last post nya, hindi ako masyadong impressed sa mga gowns dun, mas magaganda ang sa facebook.

SweetheartKo here's a link sa flickr, hope you can open, browse mo lang mga wedding pics.  I went home two weeks before the wedding lang, we did not go home din for the preps. sa gown, Skype lang kami ng designer. 1st actual fitting ko is pag-uwi ko, straight from the airport. although I tried on the shell.

dito kase namamahalan ako sa gown kaya sa pinas na lang. although sa US madami kang option.

Sis Shegie_285, ganda ng mga pics nyo! Thank u. Hindi ba nakaka worry na online lang kayo nag uusap ng gown coutier mo? Taga US ka di ba? Hindi mo ba na try mag shop around dito? Para kasing ang daming options dito at pag nag sale super sale talaga. Medyo half hearted pa rin ako whether to shop here or have it made sa Pinas. Pag dito kasi may dagdag gastos lang for alteration kasi naman ang mga sizes dito alam mo naman super laki and I'm only 4'11" 98lbs. Smooth ba yung transaction online pag sa gown?

To all sissies who are purchasing or have purchased their gown outside of the Phililippines. How did you guys travel with your gown? Did u checked it in with your luggage or hand carry. Hindi ba masyadong hassle?

Also, for those who hired coutier sa Pinas and just coordinating everything over the internet. Please share your experience from frustrations to praises. Thanks!

SweetheartKo Thanks sis for liking the pics! I live in Dublin. Good reviews naman ang designer ko sa mga forum kaya super trusted ko sya.  plus two of my friends got her too sa wedding nila, one is also overseas.

sa US nga madami naman na reasonable priced at maganda kaya you can probably check the stores. actually one thing din kaya hindi ako naghanap dito kase masyado akong maliit for them kahit na 5'3 ako.

for my kwento about my gown - here's link. super smooth ang transaction ko kay Gretchen. no frustrations, I didn't mind kung minsan wala agad reply sa email, like few days normal naman ata un, when I text her, she replies naman. I didn't see lang my gown nung ginagawa kase ang kapatid ko nakakalimutan picturan lage! si Gretchen naman hindi din ako nasendan ng pic.

My friend before got a gown sa US and brought home sa pinas, she contacted the airline about her gown. I know she hand-carried the gown, hindi check-in bag.

Sis SweetheartKo san ka sa US? I purchased mine here sa US (MD). Hindi sa David's Bridal ha hehe. I had to searched, looked for bridal shops around here and I got mine last Friday lang. You still have plenty of time to purchase yours. Bridal shops here said 4-6 months daw to place an order. Re: Traveling bridal gowns - still thinking ano gagawin ko but never to check-in your gown baka mawala.. oh no! HTH!

HI Sis Karmark16 nakita na naman kita dito sa ibang topic nga lang.  hehe. hindi rin kami magpapakasal sa consulate dito wala naman sinabi na dapat kasal na bago sa church. Deretso church na kami agad ang alam ko lang mas mabilis kasi for overseas couple na magpakasal sa church kung civilly married na kasi di ka na mahihirapan sa pag aayos ng papers mo like marriage license cert. Better check with the church nalang to make sure.
