For my sisteret overseas I just want to share to give you a rough idea, para pag nag plan kayo ng visit sa pinas to do your wedding preps :-)

Haiz!! mga sisteret with a less than a month to go for my visit sa Manila napuno agad yung 14 days trip ko kainis!!!!

SG bride din ako Twice lang ang uwi ko sa Pinas before our wedding. Nung Feb, tsaka sa August. Mina-maximize ang 4-day weekend. Hehe. Happy preps!

ms. peach, I heard dubai bride ka saan ka bumili ng wedding gown? usually mga magkano ba gown dito? iniisip ko kasi if bibili dito o magpapagawa sa pinas though di naman kami makauwi pa.

Also sa mga sis pano nyo inayos yun mga documents nyo like marriage license, pre cana seminar at canonical interview? pwede bang ipaayos yun sa iba o need talaga kami personally? uwi kasi namin weeks before the wedding nalang. TIA

hi sis shobz , Dubai based din ako I have a friend sa naïf bumili ng gown. For the documents required, mom ko na ang magaasikaso and nagsign na lang kami sa marriage license application nung umuwi kami last October.  For the seminar, we will have it sa Friday, wala naman requirements na hiningi sa St. Mary's and valid daw iyon for six months.

^wow san ka dito sa dubai sis. So pwede sa st. Mary's kami mag seminar? Ano bang seminar yun pwede dito? saan church ka pa magpapakasal? sa tagaytay ka din ba parang nabasa ko name mo sa tagaytay trend. hehe.

Anybody here who applied for their marriage licenses early tapos pinarenew na lang? Pano ang process nun, i mean, yung renewal, pwede ba yun gawin ng ibang tao na lang?

Finally got my wedding gown na!
And am excited though hindi ko pa masukat of the moment kasi wala pa ang cousin ko nag mag help sa akin mag fit. Hehe

Anyway, anybody here who can recommend a gown specialist sa Pinas? Since I will be bring my gown back, I wanted to have it pressed/dry cleaned para maalis yung wrinkles ng tulle. And am hesitant na kung saan lang basta dalhin. I have read somewhere here na meron though di ko na matandaan saang thread.

iceheaven i havent read anything na nare-renew ang license. pero pwede kayo makiusap sa city hall and ask kung pwede kuha na kayo ng form and fill out nyo na tapos ipa-process na lang kapag pasok na sa 4 months. pakiusap na din na ipapasa na lang sa ibang tao.

 Hi shobz! you have to attend precana seminar by St. Mary's Church, whole day yun, we had ours sa hotel & we are like around 300 participants that day.

Re: wedding gown in Dubai, how much is your budget? Medyo nahirapan din ako dati magdecide kung sa pinas ba or overseas ako papatahi, but very good decision na nagpatahi ako sa Dubai, because of the quality ng fabric, and hands on ako sa design and all materials na gagamitin. I inquired before kay Veluz and she said yung design na gusto ko will cost around 350k! exaj! it's not practical Where are you based in Dubai?

^Hi Ms. Peach sa may Bur Dubai ako based.  So pwede pala kami magseminar nalang sa St. Mary's. Yey. confirm ko din muna sa church pero [textspeak!] papayag naman..

Sa wedding gown gusto ko din yun mga design ni Veluz kaso ayoko gumastos ng ganun kamahal para lang sa isang araw. Usually ano ba mga range ng gown dito? San ka nagpatahi?

shobz makisingit lang. if you don't find a gown in dubai, madami naman magaling din sa pinas who can do a sort of veluz gown pero not as intricate nga lang na hindi masyadong mahal. I inquired with Veluz din and for my 'simple yet elegant' gown (beach wedding so ayaw ko na madaming beads at mainit), Php160k daw, ouch! so i got another designer - Gretchen Pichay - my gown was Ph35k lang.  I went home two weeks before the wedding lang, via skype lang meeting and measurement.
