Hi everyone, am new in this forum., ano po difference Taichung and the other hospital Mackay hospital, am planning to do the ivf also in Taiwan, heard the success rate is good in Taiwan.

^hi sis. I think the main difference is that mackay is actually a hospital and lee women's is sort of a clinic. Cost is also lower sa lee women's from what i've heard.

Mga sis I hope someone can answer the following questions for me. We are planning to go for IVF to Taichung asap and I already sent my test results from here. However, meron silang hinihinging additional tests, binigay lang nila the whole list and ako na lang ang nagsala which we already have and which we still have to do.

1. CD-AT Active T-Cell : Ano ang equivalent dito sa atin?

2. Cardiolipin IgG;ACA : Is this the same as Anti-Cardiolipin Antibodies? May subcategories yung test ko ng ACA IgG and ACA IgM

3. Thyroglobulin Ab (ATA) : Is this the same as Anti-Thyroglobulin Antibody RIA? My test results include the Anti-Thyroglobulin Antibody RIA and Thyroid Peroxidase Antibody RIA.

4. Protein-S : Is this the same as C. Reactive Protein? My test result include C.Reactive Protein and Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate.

5. PTT Substitution Test

Do we have the tests above here locally? Mas practical kasi if we do the tests here kesa personally go to Taichung pa for the test.

I hope someone who have undergone IVF can help us. TIA. I'm a bit hesitant to join the group in FB, for me the point of having a username in this forum is to post and ask freely and still maintain anonymity as our "disease" is not something you'd be proud to have, baka mamaya may kakilala pala in the group. LOL

Hello sis! Pls share your recent experience in Taichung ivf. I heard there is a strong typhoon in taiwan and that there is a new building for dr lee's hospital in taichung. Any info about these, pls share. I'm a patient there in 2010 and now have 4yo daughter. Planning to go there again very soon.

Hi girls! Anyone heading to Taichung soon? Got my meds na and just waiting for my period to arrive. Did all the blood tests when I went there last January. Kakalipat lang ng Lee Women's sa bagong building kaya it's so much better now than the old clinic na parang house lang daw according to kwento. Hope I don't get too lonely while I'm there.

Im happy to announce im 5wks preggy after my FET in taichung!
1st ivf 6yrs ago sa taichung din, 5yrs old na si daughter ko.

Si dr. Lee parin ang gumagawa until now, 64yrs old!
Baby dust everyone!  Mapapadalas ako ulit dito sa Girltalk dahil bedrest ako ulit.  This is where i learned about taichung, and the sisses here helped me alot together with my Oby and family support.

Mataas ang success rate nila at mura.
Here in Ph meron narin sa St Lukes Global - Carmi at ska [textspeak!] Kato at aka [textspeak!] sa Medical Plaza makati kay doc Pastorfide etc. Hindi ko na try yan pero among these 3, i would prefer ang Kato kung mag iinquire ka.
