I haven't seen any GAP thread yet here so I thought of creating one.

I know a lot of people complain about the markup of GAP here, but when you check the regular prices online, the markup isn't that big actually. The big price difference siguro is between US GAP outlet prices and local prices.

Anyway, I'm crazy about the GAP skimmers lately. Probably because it's summer? I just bought the neon flamingo one from BHS, and I'm thinking of getting the neon yellow and mint green ones too. I reserved my size na so it's just a matter of thinking about it, haha.

yup, konti nga lang markup between online and GAP here in the Philippines - at least for baby clothes ha. pansin ko, around 100 to 300 lang. pwede na at least i don't have to spend on shipping and wait for the package to arrive unless gustung-gusto ko yung design at wala pa dito.

i just bought the mint green and usual blue denim skimmers. i'm off to find the neon yellow one next. it's 25% off for the 2nd purchase of a bottom.

ang bilis din actually maubos ng sizes ng jeans dito.

nagmahal na ang gap these past few years. although sometimes i think the quality is same lang ng old navy..

sister companies naman ang Gap and Old Navy (and I think pati Banana Republic), marked up lang talaga ang Gap lalo na BR. Sometimes, may items sa Gap na you can see also sa old navy and vice versa. Would you believe, I bought a jacket from Old Navy on sale and I just got it for $27 original price was $79, then I saw the same jacket sa Gap, priced at $160.

Super kasundo ko talaga Always Skinny jeans nila. Although the last 2 pairs i bought online were slightly smaller, i was able to have it exchanged to the next bigger size.

Yung lang hirap sa Gap, inconsistent sizing.

i hope that Gap will produce more clothes that are not made in china. sayang naman the brand name if made in china almost all the clothes. Halos pareho na sila ng Old Navy.

sometimes mas mura padin bumili online because they usually have sales plus additional % off pa, so it comes out cheaper..

have u guys shopped sa ON dito? kamusta naman ang price point?

I love Gap.  It's my go-to in terms of jeans and casual tops.  I haven't tried buying from here, though, kasi namamahalan ako sa regular price.  I always buy in the US, if not sa stores na malapit sa house, sa outlets.  Kasi kahit sa malls, madami pa din good finds sa sale racks nila.  1969s are my favorite pair.
