^you're welcome sis. I wanted to share kasi dami ko rin nakukuhang info from this forum.

Regarding Rio Verde, the high end (eto talga tawag nila - hehe) lunch costs P550, the regular one costs P450, both include govt tax na.  Pinili namin high-end kasi mas marami daw selections including crabs and lechon kawali.  Food is ok naman but not spectacular. Yung ibang nandun sarap na sarap kumain.   Siguro dahil ang dami na naming nakain sa BBF so hindi pa kami natatakam.  I forgot na how much sa Loboc River Cruise. Parang same lang ata according to the driver we got nung tour.

Two of my friends said maganda nga daw ang beach dun sa BBC. But they havent been to Alona, Doljo and Dumaluan so they cant compare. A few years ago BBC talga ang sikat na resort sa Bohol.  The drivers/tour guide also said maganda sa BBC. Yung sa Bellevue, clear ang water and fine/powdery sand. But mostly nga may seaplants so if you go farther than knee high, puno ng seaplants. im not sure if other months wala. IF walang seaplants, enjoy sana lumangoy sa Bellevue Doljo.

hi, planning to go to Bohol 2 weeks from now on a budgeted leisure trip for 2 days so i need advice if it's smarter to avail of the tour packages or make my own itinerary.
we will be staying in Panglao near Alona beach since it's my favorite spot in Bohol but my problem is the transportation getting around the must-see spots.

first day - from pier, go to Bohol Bee Farm for lunch, Hinagdanan cave, then to our hotel at Alona Beach
second day - Chocolate Hills, Loboc River Cruise for Lunch, hanging bridge, tarsier, Loboc cable car (haven't hear of this before pero saan to? ) and the python
we'll go home on the third day.

i guess i can rent a car on the second day tour but do you guys have an idea what's the ideal transpo would be from the pier to Bohol Bee farm to our hotel after?

Hi sisseshttp://! Thank you for all the posts. Marami akong nalaman sa pag-babackread! We'll be having our cebu-bohol trip this June27-30. Sana hindi gaanong maulan nun. I have this itinerary-

June 27: CEBU
June 28 (Friday): Bohol Day 1- Danao Adventure Park
June 29 (Saturday): Bohol Day 2- Sea tour and Panglao Tour
June 30: (Sunday): Bohol Day 3- Country Side Tour

Sa tingin nyo, ok ba yung schedule namin? We're also choosing between DBR1 and WAG. Which do you suggest is better. Di kami ganoon ka-particukar sa accommodation kasi balak namin will be out on tours during our stay in bohol. Will appreciate your inputs or suggestions. Thanks sisses!

May mga taxi po ba sa tagbilaran port papuntang dumuluan 2? Madali po bang makasakay nang taxi from dumuluan 2 to tagbilaran airport? Kasi pinagiisipan namin kung magpapahatid sundo pa kami sa tour guide. Safe naman ba ang dumuluan 2?

^^^ mas tahimik sa WAG. parang mas konti kase tao sa WAG kesa sa DBR1. maayos and malinis naman.

^^ parang wala yata kami nakita taxi sa tagbilaran airport, puro tour guide/driver ng van. ok naman mgpahatid/sundo sa guide/driver. safe sa dumaluan or kahit saan dun sa DBR/WAG/BBC side but ciempre be alert pa den.

Mganda ba mag sea and island tour kasi may mga nababasa ako na di daw ganun kaganda kaya iniisip ko kung di naman worth mag da day tour na lang ako sa bbc.

Depende rin sa interests ng tao if type ang mga ganitong sea/island tours. And if they didnt see or experience something better previously.  Ako,  nagustuhan ko yung dolphin watching and snorkeling sa marine sanctuary balicasag island but si husband normal reaction lang, hindi ganong tuwa compared to me.  There were also a lot of people snorkeling and its just a relatively small area. So yung mga nakasnorkel sa masmalawak at deep na dagat, baka hindi na ganong magandahan sa balicasag island.  Yung Virgin Island, eto we could have skipped this. It didnt offer anything new, anticlimactic yung experience. After 5mins at Virgin Island, I was ready to go. Masmaganda pa yung shoreline/dagat sa Bellevue Doljo. Tumagal lang kami ng konti kasi my husband and son bought and ate banana bque dun.

if first time nyo magsnorkeling, try sea tour.  enjoy yun. maganda yun underwater sa balicasag. iba-iba fish naman makikita mo so maganda den. kahit wala ka biscuit or tinapay, fish na mismo lalapit sayo. hehe. maliit lang yun area kaya medyo maraming bangka pag maaga pa. pag medyo maiinit na, umaalis na den yun iba so medyo malaki na den na area yun maiikot mo. regarding sa virgin island, if you want maglakad lakad lang sa  "boracay-like" sand, ok naman den maglakad-lakad. in fairness, para kang nagpa foot spa after kahit sandali ka lang maglakad. as for me lang ha, don't miss sea tour. masaya den yun dolphin "hunting" (sa sobrang maghahanap and mag-iintay and maghahabol kayo makakita ng dolphin parang hindi na yun dolphin watching). nakakatuwa naman kung mataon na makakita kayo. our group had seen a pod na medyo malapit sa bangka namen. regarding sa BBC, sarado po BBC. under renovation po. sarado po talaga. this april lang kame nasa bohol.

Back from Bohol! Super happy with RJ Intano's tour service (thanks, Chyng!). We arrived at Bohol last Thurs. We did the countryside tour on Friday and the island tour on Saturday. Sayang nga we didn't get to do the firefly tour sa Abatan River. Pero pagoda na talaga kami after every tour kaya hindi na kineri. Next time nalang.

Ang galing lang nung bangkero namin nung dolphin watching! Bilib talaga kami. Kasi pagdating sa area, ang dami dami nang boats na nandun. Halos wala kaming nakitang dolphins. Si kuya bangkero bigla nalang humiwalay sa iba pang mga bangka. After a few minutes naglipana na ang dolphins sa harap at tabi ng bangka namin! Syempre jumoin din sa area namin ang iba pang mga bangka kaya lumayo na yung dolphins. Sabi ko nga, hindi ito dolphin watching kundi dolphin chasing kasi kung makasugod naman ang mga bangka para makalapit sa dolphins, wagas din e.

Ang hindi ko lang ma-gets sa island tour ay yung snorkeling sa Balicasag marine sanctuary. Yun na ba talaga yun? Kasi nung dinala kami nung maliit na bangka sa area, patay naman din ang corals pero marami namang isda. Inisip ko nga baka naman hindi talaga kami sa marine sanctuary dinala.

We stayed at Bolod Beach Resort. Wouldn't recommend this resort. Better to stay at Whites and Greens na katabi nito. Super liit ng rooms ng Bolod, very badly planned ang floorplan ng room. Hindi rin kumportable ang mattress ng single beds nila dahil manipis. Super nipis din ng blankets. Pero, accommodating at friendly ang kanilang staff. Their rooms come with free breakfast. Expect the usual fare na hotdog, tocino, ham, etc. Hindi sila nagseserve ng lunch at dinner sa resort. Kaya pag kailangang kumain, sa WAG kami pumupunta o kaya sa DBR grill. Masarap ang food sa pareho!

When we arrived last Thurs pala, we dropped by Dauis church and ate brunch at Cafe Lawis as suggested by mama squeak (thanks sis!). Isa sa favorite part ko ito ng Bohol trip. Ang sarap ng food sa Cafe Lawis pero syempre tourist price ang presyo ng food. Ganda rin ng hundred year old acacia tree sa labas ng cafe. Winner lang talaga for me. We were supposed to eat brunch there before heading to the airport for our flight back to Manila kaya lang hindi na natuloy. Pero super love ko talaga ang Cafe Lawis.

@gulaysk, I'm glad you had fun. Good to know you also enjoyed the food at Cafe Lawis. Actually ang gusto ko talaga dun yun acacia facing the sea. It's so relaxing. My Mom tells me they used to have a swing there when she was a kid and would use that as a jumping point to the sea. Medyo malapit pa yung dagat that time. Ngayon kasi parang reclaimed na yung area.

@myblueberry, medyo malayo ang Dumaluan sa Cafe Lawis at Dauis church pero madadaanan mo sya on your way to Dumaluan coming from Tagbilaran airport or pier. Tagbilaran to Dauis is a 10-15 minute drive and another 15-20 minutes nasa Dumaluan ka na.

Hi sis, we went to Bohol last April 5-7 lang.. Parang wala naman ako nakita taxi, pero maraming cars/vans for rent. Nagrange nga lang sila 600. Kami ginawa namin nagtricycle na lang para mas mura. Yun papunta namin sa Panglao from Tagbilaran airport 200 kami 2 na. Dami naman kasi nagooffer dun kaya puwedeng puwede ka tumawad. hehe.
