Hi! Newbie here. I just want to ask for feedbacks with Ms. Clarizze Jiongco (AE) and Ms. Justine (EP). We haven't scheduled a final FT and detailing so baka pwede pang palitan si EP kung may bad feedback sa kanya. TIA!

Attended the GFT of Hizon's yesterday in Light of Love. Marami akong nangustuhan na food vs di nagustuhan. It's the 2nd FT we've attended, first was CVJ's last week.  Over-all feedback we like Hizon's better - set up and food. My parents came w/ us yesterday and they liked the food also. Kaso wala yung inaabangan kong Truffle Mushroom Soup and Thrice-cooked Pork Belly (carving on station).

Jorina informed me that they will launch a new look book with new thematic set ups hopefully by January 2015, and no additional charge unlike sa CVJ na may 20k per 100 guests add'l if you "upgrade" to their theme set ups. Lalo ako na-excite w/ Hizon's!  Jorina gave me lots of freebies na rin. I haven't booked yet. I want to attend FTs of other caterers muna. Might book a caterer January na. Dec 2015 pa naman wedding namin.

Any other feedback sa GFT yesterday with Hizon's?

^Ah ok. So booked ka pa lang talaga sa venue (venue-catering package), and Hizon's is one of the accredited caterers ng venue na yun tama ba? Ganun dun kami, and most likely Hizon's din kunin namin, pero we'll attend pa FTs ng other caterers.

di ko kasi alam kung pano ba process nun saka may detailing pa yun di ba?kelan ba yun

^Ang alam ko 4 months before the wedding ang detailing dapat, so that's Dec for you. So contact them for the detailing and final FT schedule mga 6 mos before your wedding siguro. Para ma-schedule ka habang maaga. (So mga next month na yun noh?) 

Sa pagbbook sa kanila, should be earlier than that. Para ma-secure lang slot mo. Kaya naman nila maraming events, pero mas ok na rin sure ka na ma-book ka sa kanila ng maaga. Siguro by this time nakapag-book ka na dapat sa kanila kung April wedding mo? Kasi ako I am planning to book them January, eh Dec 2015 pa wedding ko.

Siguro naman you've attended na grand FTs ng Hizon's (and other caterers to compare?)... Where's your venue pala?

i had to let go of my deposit sa Hizons and switch to Josiah's. Good thing binigyan kami ng 10k discount ng Josiah's so di na rin nakakapanghinayang dp namin sa hizons. After our detailing, my sister was not satisfied eh andami restrictions sa pwede gawin styling. or siguro di lang magaling napunta sa amin planner. i don't know. pero move on na lang buti di pa ganon kapeak season date namin.

@mikaidg5 Hizon's bride here, sinong AE mo? Kinabahan naman ako sa sinasabi mo hehe. Ano yung mga restrictions na nasabi nila sayo?

sadly, that's my concern too. limited ang options na binigay ng planner and minamadali kami pumili. I have requested to change my planner, 3 weeks na wala pa rin. i am considering on switching to another caterer na rin tuloy. hay.

pm ko na lang name ng ae ko sis. wala lang nainis lang kami kasi kada iask ko kung pwede ba ganto eh No nang No lang nakukuha ko. nung inask ko kung pwede ba ako magbayad na lang upgrade fee, sinabihan agad ako stylist na lang kunin. nung una kasi na hindi pa christian wedding ang plan eh di naman ako particular sa styling kaso now na garden ceremony na nga kahit papano gusto ko mapaganda at magmatch yung reception na garden feel pa rin. pero well siguro kasi nkapackage ako sa oasis kaya ganon, di ko rin alam. i was just disappointed with how we were handled. parang nagmamadali yung ae ko may lakad ata. pero last say ko na to about hizons kasi few weeks na lang wedding na at happy naman na ako so far sa choice ko. ok pa din naman hizons wala ako mapipintas sa food nila.

actually naginquire din ako dati sa kanila about sa ceremony set-up, binigyan nila ako ng mga sample pics na gawa nila sa ceremony from standard to upgraded but di ko nagustuhan..tas sinabi ko kung ano yung peg ko, autumn sana, sabi nia may stylist na raw dapat, pero binigyan nia ako ng contact ng stylist na pwede ko kunin.. sakto naman yung venue namin ka-tieup nia yung stylist mismo kaya kay venue na lang ako kumuha ng ceremony package kesa kay hizon's, masmura pa. Sa food naman, ok naman lahat ng events na napuntahan ko na si hizon ang nagcater, pati reception set-up ok din,,, baka di lang nila forte ang ceremony set-up talaga

Nag-iisip pa ako kung saan ang catering ko. Pero nasa top list ko is Hizon's. Ask ko lang kung meron ba silang mga tipong "all in" packages? Like yung kasama na yung reception styling and venue? Ang dami kasing venue na may mga corkage fees na super mahal kaya parang dun na lang ako sa accredited caterers. Kaka-email ko lang two days ago di pa ako naka-receive ng reply. May idea ba kayo sa mga prices nila?

Cino-consider ko din kasi sana yung Ma Del's.

^We also got the venue+catering package, and Hizon's is one of their accredited caterers.
You can try inquiring with Light of Love, Oasis, The Pergola, Sampaguita Gardens, etc. There are plenty of events place that offer these venue+catering packages. Parang all-n package na rin, usually included na bridal car, cake, styling (syempre sa caterer kasma na yun, could be basic or elaborate depende sa package), etc.

Thank you sis! Pwede mo ba i-send sakin yung rates nila for 2015 wedding? Or kahit yung rate na nakuha mo lang para may idea ako. May isa pa ako na tanong. Pwede ba ako mag deviate dun sa mga themes nila? Tinignan ko kasi yung catalog nila online. Maganda naman sya pero yung colors, not what I had wanted. May additional charge kaya kung i-modify ko gun?

Meron din ba slang wedding coordinator services?
