^baby ko rin sis sobra likot, talon ng talon, tapos yung tulog nya sa umaga sobrang bilis, like 30 mins lang pero sa gabi though gumigising sya twice to feed eh nakakatulog naman agad sya. she's 6 months today and i was so shocked na 8.2kgs lang sya samantalang 7.5kls sya last time na nagpunta kami sa pedia, thats more than a month ago pa. hindi ko alam what went wrong pero mukang humihina sya magmilk samantalang last week lang nagstart sya magfeed more than her usual feeding. ang bilis ng pangyayare, nawiwindang na ako. pero marami nagsasabi na tumatangkad si baby, baka kaya sya pumapayat kasi tumatangkad???

hi sis kneeknee! i'm not exclusively pumping. pero there were a few times before na nagdala kami ng frozen breastmilk pag lalabas. you can thaw the milk under running water (mabilis sya matunaw lalo kung nasa milk bag sya). or pwede ka humingi sa restaurant or cafe ng warm water then put the milk bottle in. kung mukhang wala naman kayong mahihingian ng warm water, pwede rin kayo magdala ng hot water sa thermos.

^^am not after naman na maging super taba si baby. pero yun nga worried din ako kasi almost 1kg per month ang wait gain niya until 3 months pero nung 3rd to 4th month niya. 0.6kg lang ang na gain niya. Then naparesearch ako after some of our sis post here

base sa site medyo ok pa si mommy normal pa weight gain niya medyo napalagay ako. hehe. yun nga lang when i hold him nafe- feel ko kasi yung ribs eh. sana kaunting taba pa. hehe. okay din yung growth niya in terms of height ang daldal ko na off topic na ata ako.

back to breastfeeding. nung first few months medyo nafe- feel ko pa yung flow ng milk sa breast ko pero ngayon (after 4 months of bf-ing) hindi na. normal lang ba yun mga sis? mukhang enough naman milk ko kasi nababasa pa rin shirt ko even after magdede ni baby.

Mommies help! My right breast (dito madalas dumede si baby) feels hard and lumpy tapos ang sakit magpadede kay baby parang ang hapdi. Today lang to. 4mos plus na si baby pero ngayon ko lang naramdaman ganitong sakit sa breast. Eto na ba yung engorgement na sinasabi?What can i do to relieve the pain. Dumedede naman si baby pero masakit pa rin after.

will do sis. sakit talaga. baby was nursing a while ago nakatulog siya in the process tapos biglang nagulat eh nasa mouth niya pa nipple ko ayun kinagat ang nahila - muntikan nako mag faint sa sakit.

Went to the Pedia the other day and he noticed that baby still has jaundice kaya he advised that we stop breastfeeding muna for 3days. And observe for a few days.
Ang sad ni Baby cos he was drinking milk formula and super worried kami kasi dun sa 3 days na yun 1x lang siya na poop even with glucose water. Buti nalang breastmilk na ulit kami. And baby looks happy, again. Praying that mawala na completely yung jaundice niya.

how old is your baby? my son had jaundice till he was 3 months old we didnt stop bfeeding pero closely monitored ang bilirubin levels nya mayat maya syan tinutusok to get blood  for tests

Returned to work last Friday. Grabe ang hirap pala magpump ng milk. Namiss ko tuloy nung maternity leave ko, direct feeding lang kami lagi ni baby. Bonding time pa.

Now kahit magkasama kami, kailangan ko isipin kung enough ba yung maiiwan kong milk for him kaya nagpapump ako either before/during/after nursing my baby. At nakakastress yung paulit ulit na magsterilize ng pump, bottles, etc. Sana pwede nalang dalhin si baby dito sa office hehe

mga sis help, 9 days old si baby. on his second day iyak sya ng iyak kasi im having difficulty producing milk as well as difficulty sa latching.  then on the third day bumili kami ng breast pump tapos pina painom na lang yung milk ko thru cup from medela.

nag increase naman yung milk supply ko after few days like nakakapump ako ng 2 ounce per pump ( both breast) i saw how clam at di na iyakin si baby and we use calma medela feeding bottle  but since kapahon im having difficulty pumping milk, mga 10 ml na lang both breast pa yun.   i still feed him directly sa breast ko kahit na nag pupump ako ng milk nya.

last nigy bumalik ulit yung parang second day nya na uneasy sya at palaging gustong mag milk at iyak nya.  di na ako nakakapump ng 2 ounce per pump kundi max na yung 20 or 10 ml.

i take malunggay oil capsule, puro tinolang manok or mga sinabawan na karne with malunnggay/pechay  ang food ko 3x a day since day 3 nya.

will my milk supply increase after few weeks kaya.  hay an sakit kasi nakikita na umiiyak si baby.

^ relax inhale, exhale... it is too early to pump. practice correct latching. madaming youtube videos available or you can seek help of lactation counselor. remember pag masakit ang pag latch, there is something wrong. pumping can go in at 6-8th week kung babalik to work pero kung SAHM ka, ang sarap kaya ng direct feed na lang. wala pang iintindihing bottles, pump, etc.

at this phase, both of you are adjusting...may times na palaging gutom, latch lang ng latch every time then make sure na pa burp mo. continu until ma establish nyo na ang milk production mo...

i have no choice but to give formula to my dd. high-low kasi supply ko and just recently humina na talaga to the point na 6oz from both breast na lang yung napupump ko on first session, next one swerte na kung maka-4oz tapos sa gabi iyak sya ng iyak kahit both breast na sya nakapagfeed yun pala gutom pa sya

^sis viellemacey, pumping ka ba or direct feed? ilang months na si baby?  baka hindi gutom ang reason ng pag iyak... burp din properly. constant latch will improve your supply and best of all, wag ma stress...

^^direct kami sis sa gabi, pumping sa morning. sinasanay ko si baby kasi balak ko magwork na. gutom talaga sya sis kaya umiiyak kasi triny ko sya bigyan ng express ayun naubos nya yung 6oz, straight. dd is 6months na.

^sis dati kasi sa left breast pa lang nakaka-8oz na ko, sa right around 2oz lang kasi dun madalas magfeed si baby sa gabi. kaya naalarm ako nung 6oz na lang eh 4 times magfeed si baby sa umaga, 6oz each feeding, hirap habulin.

He's 2months old na today. Thank God at dun sa 3days namin nag stop ng breastfeeding nag clear na yung jaundice nya.

^^sis kaice, how many times do you pump in a day? Until when do you plan to pump?

Hindi na kami ebf ni baby since her 14th month. But I still pump, medyo tamad na nga lang. she consumes mga 8-16  oz of  milk in a day and I pump mga total of 8-12 oz for the day. Kaya may times hindi rin siya nagfoformula.

Mommies mukhang naglbm ata si baby since dawn kanina naka 5 times na siya magpoop. 3am, around 8am, around 1pm tapos ngayong mga 630pm at 730pm. Yung 1st 3 ok pa namn yung color ng poop niya normal yung color. Pero yung last two ngayong gabi avocado green na. Small amounts lang naman pero normally kasi once or twice a day lang siya magpoo poo. Sabi ng pedia ni baby pa stool exam daw and mag pedialyte 45 muna para hindi ma dehydrate. Kaso di pa kami makapag stool exam kasi di ako makatiming ng fresh stool.
 
May nakainom na ba na ba sa baby ninyo ng pedialyte? Regular pa naman si baby magdede sa akin tyaka active naman. I tried painumin ng kaunti kanina. Uminom naman pero after a few gups hinanap pa rin breast ko. Mukhang di ata bf advocate si pedia

plan ko rin magbreastfeed and HINDI kami magssupplement ng formula. Sabi ng OB namin na magstock ng mga sachets na formula in case di daw enough supply ko or may sugat etc etc. I said ok pero hindi ko gagawin talagang breastmilk lang papainom ko kay baby.

I also told my husband na in case may mga oldies na magcomment na o baka hindi enough supply etc etc, to stand by me and our decision.

Alam nyo naman mga oldies... puros unsolicited advice

Share ko lang.  After I gave birth, ni-room in na namin agad si baby para makalatch na siya.  Everytime may dadating na nurse to check up on us, tinatanong lagi kung may milk nako.  Sa sobrang takot ko na baka bigyan nila ng formula si baby, I told them, "meron na" complete with a smile kahit na super panic nako dahil feeling ko wala pa talagang milk.  Buti dumating na nung 2nd or 3rd day.  Trust lang talaga na marami kang milk
