Hi sis! Happened to pass by this thread. I recommend you our wedding p/v team Peekxel. They also cover kiddie parties as well, and their range is I think within your budget. I happened to recommend them to two of my friends. Yung isa wedding and the other is for her kid's birthday. As I remember nasa ganun yung price na sinabi sa kin ni Ms. April. May FB page sila sis. Really hindi artistic si David Lim of For Keeps? To me personally i don't think you can compare a pre shoot with props and set design with an event like Birthdays or Baptismal, where everything cant be controlled. Great lensmen works on what the event/place/lights gives them dun lalabas if masipag and creative yung photographer.

I don't work for any of the photographers or videographers here so I am talking from a client's point of view.  I know what you mean that it is easier to be artistic when there is an event stylist, but I still strongly believe that a skilled photographer could still come up with variations of shots if he has an artistic or creative side.  For example, if the event is more intimate, the photographer can go outside the events place if there is a garden for options naman.  If there is nothing much to cover during the actual event, the photographer can go to the house of the client to take shots to cover the prepping of the baby or the toddler.  This is just my opinion.  We had an intimate party and we were quite happy sa outcome.

No doubt david lim looks like a hard working person but I am talking about the artistic and creative side of photography.  It could also be the camera used.  Sometimes output will really be different depende sa subject (here is where the styling comes in, the subject mismo, the venue siguro, the lighting), camera ( I heard may difference talaga sa output depending on the camera used and skill of the photographer), editing (this is just minor kasi if you are a skilled photographer, even without masyadong editing, picture would still be nice kahit directly from the cam).

Still not happy that Jamie was unresponsive sa text messages.  If may option kayo to get someone as good as her, and friendlier sa clients after service, that would be the best case scenario.

We booked David Lim for my son's first birthday on Jan. It was supposed to be Jet kaso out of the country daw siya on our date which is okay lang naman for me.

i got sophiaphotography nun binyag ng son ko. okay naman the shots lalo na nun pre-event shoot. nun binyag mismo di ko masyado type yung shots nakinalabasan, kasi yung me flash nga, na parang regular camera lang ginamit compare to DSLR shots na kahit me flash, ah hirap iexplain. mabilis naman din sila mag send ng pics. tapos friend ko sa fb nun binura ko, ang yabang kasi mag post ng mga status. lol

I thought I was the only one! I got them too for my daughter's baptism, due to numerous recommendations online, but turned out the photos are not nice, makintab yung face dahil sa flash tapos angdilim ng background, and mukang madumi. Hindi yung owner ang photographer namin that time, he sent another guy na goodlooking.

You might also want to try Chiaroscuro Studio. They do birthdays din and affordable din rates nila

How much usually rates ng Photo and Video for kiddie parties/binyag?

Mai, I was also torn between For Keeps and Joshua de Guzman. But binusisi ko pics nila and Joshua's style suits us more. He does wedding photography too and he's really good. Mabait and madali kausap. I will not hesitate in getting him again. His rates are higher than For Keeps though...

We stayed in Intercon for "preps" and him and his teammate came around to take our pictures, our bub's dress etc. After the main ceremony, we also had picture taking in SSA grounds. Ang sipag nila! Bubs had her picture taken with all our guests. The partners practically had a couple's shoot they took pictures at the dinner reception as well. Ako na nga nagpauwi sa kanila kasi nahihiya naman ako sa sobrang sipag nila.

I cannot recommend Joshua enough!

Looking for a photo and video supplier for a 7th birthday party in Bacoor Cavite - May 2016 pa naman so still very much open for suggestions and recommendations. My brother who's also a photographer will cover din, pero dahil gusto ko din naman maenjoy nya ang party ng kanyang pamangkin eh I'm planning to get another photography and videography team.

Really need super suggestions for videographers in the area, kasi first time namin to hire a videographer, and I'm very particular with quality.

jvallevents photography. crappy images/photos, cheap price but yeah you get what you pay for. same for video coverage. photobooth was good though. nice print outs with magnets.
overall, not satisfied. not getting them again.
