I finally chose child lounge and happy ako sa output nila for our pre-event shoot. They know how to get photos and how to get real good photos.

Excited na tuloy ako makita ang save the date video namin at syempre yung mismong bday ni baby ko!

parang napansin ni hubby na dark rin ang shots ng For Keeps? I think that's the way they edit their pics... yun vignette ba or what... di ko sure but medyo nadadarkan nga rin ako kasi I compared sa pics ko na hindi naman professional... lighting is ok, colors are vibrant...

what about Star Baby Photography or Obscura X?

we got jv photography for my son's first birthday im not satisfied with the shots. why-dark photos, well lighted naman un place, ewan bat ganun. wala masyadong emotions captured, puro standing / seated shots parang amateur ang kuha. inggit ako sobra kase un sa friend ko for keeps un nabook nya, the shots were awesome! di n kase sila available nun sched ko, so based on the reviews here, jv un kinuha ko. pero malayo talaga kung photos lang ang usapan. i have yet to see the video, but its been 2 months na di pa din sila nagrereply sa status. antagal lang despite them demanding for full payment after the event pati for shipping cost. when you paid on time, you expect them to deliver on time din di ba. but no! no reply 3 weeks na. hence this post. just to share an honest feedback from my experience with them. nga pala! and the photobooth they started at the beginning of the party without telling us, or kahit sabihin man lang sa host para alam ng mga bisita na kokonti pa nun. e one hour lang un budget ko dun. 5 sets lang ata un nagawa for an hour. so nagpaextend pa ako 1 hour nun last hour of the party para makapagpaphotobooth un iba. i feel robbed lalo na ngayon waiting pa din sa video. sana naman good job un video pambawi man lang.

hi sis, when is your event? and could you post samples ng gawa nila? as far as i know kilala sila sa pagiging mabilis mag reply either text or email or fb. sometimes kasi it depends on the details ng party ang kinukuhaan ng photographer, if there are lots of things on the party eh marami din shots na makukuha. so sad to hear your experience sana kinausap mo nalang si sir jv about it. saka yung video? 2 months? nakalagay naman sa contract nila na 30 working days lang yun and they are very strict about it.

^oh no! I was eyeing JV pa naman sa photo and video pencil booked nako and is thinking of making the deposit na kaso parang nagdalawang isip ako. Gusto ko pa naman kuha lahat ng emotions sa pics and videos. My first choice was shuttercount kaso mahal na sila 12k for photo/video, til 6k lang budget ko. Any suggestions mga sis? TIA

Now I am still having second thoughts about JV All events Second option ko is For Keeps and Obscura X. Which would you choose between the two mga sis? kasi parehong maganda mga shots nila full of emotions and same price lang din. Not so sure with the videos though.

sis, i got the services of JV All events in my son's birthday last year. satisfied naman ako with the results. though hindi mismo si sir JV yung nag-photograph (i forgot the guy's name), pero the results naman were ok. they were able to capture naman the important details of the event. same thing with the video. medyo nag-antay ako, pero it's within the agreed upon number of days in the contract. siguro if may specifics kang hinahanap, you just have to inform them before the party starts. and yung sa video, since may flashback pics yung sa son ko, i really sent them more than the required number of pics, para may pagpipilian sila in case hindi ok yung ibang old pics.

Thanks sa replies mga sis Just to update lang na I let my husband decide last weekend lang. I asked him to review JV, For Keeps and Primera Litratista kasi so far eto nakita ko dito sa GT and sa SP na madalas imention lately na pasok sa budget and he chose For Keeps (which by the way is slightly higher, 7,500 na) kaso si hubby kasi knows a bit of photography kaya sya na pinag decide ko, ako lang in charge sa research ng popular sa forums.

I should have also known about photostreamer earlier para madami choices sayang hehe Thanks sis Diane!

I'm so sad that Ging Lorenzo, my favorite photographer for kiddie events, is not available for my twins' 7th birthday.  Ging covered their baptism, first and third birthdays and shot our family portraits before.  She recommended Ces Kasilag and Warren Camitan.  But I'll be looking for other photographers.  Off the top of my head are Stanley Ong, Lactophoto and Krissy Rodriguez. 

I'm looking for someone whose photos are clean and crisp (not artsy artsy), can capture the innocence and vulnerability of children, yung mga candid shots eh hindi "staged" and with an eye for details.  Ayaw ko ng cluttered look at mga maraming pa-effect.

Any suggestions pa, mga sisses?
