Sisterets!! Happy to read na mega busy ang mga 2014 Brides with preps hahahah.. Kinda busy sa work so na put on hold ang aking prepping :-)
Updates lang, I finally received yung 2 dresses that I ordered from Ms Agatha (Cheesecake) I love them!!! hahahahhaha so decided na ako na infinity dress ang suot ng aking entourage :-) cant wait to meet her pag uwi ko sa June.

Next, since some of my guests are coming from Singapore (min 20 pax) am planning to give them welcome bags.. any suggestion kung ano pwede ilagay?

Sis chicgurl, iba kasi culture sa Pinas. Although naka-attend na ako na may ganun sa invite and I didn't mind It would depend din siguro sa guests mo kung close naman kayo, they should understand.

Mahirap din kasi sis na mabalewala yung gift o di magamit. Desisyon din kasi ito kung maging proper o maging practical?

hello ladies.. meron lang akong question regarding invites... i am not sure if this is sort of related on this thread but i am giving it a shot because I am a 2014 bride din naman hehe..

can you suggest how i could put it on the invitation regarding the gift? that we would prefer na yung gift is not physical/material stuff ex. appliances like rice cooker, fridge, washing machine, cutlery, etc etc kasi we live abroad and we are getting married sa phils & we wont be able to bring all those with us when we go back abroad.. any suggestion please? highly appreciated.. thank you.

Sis chicgurl, I also got an invite na ganun. Nasa RSVP naka lagay nasa pinaka baba lang na in lieu of the traditional presents the couple would highly appreciate monetary gifts since they will be starting a new life abroad. Ok lang naman din sakin, I didn't mind and I think yung other friends namin didn't mind also.

Tama si sis Chuchubells, sis j.adore. Matte Jersey yung gamit and in all fairness maganda yung mga dress ni Cheesecake. I also ordered for me eh. And prep dress ko is ganun din.

Sis Chuchubells, in terms of welcome gift bag naman, am thinking something unique satin na generic para kahit sa Muslim friends mo pwede. Like yung mga food na nasa Pasalubong na stores tapos lagay mo sa burlap or sa sinamay na bags.

chicgurl: I agree with sis earthangelivy. I also received an invite about monetary gifts. Hindi naman ako na-off. Siguro kasi we all understand rin naman na times have changed so hindi na masyadong no-no ang ganitong concerns? also, yung isa ko friend got married last year. Based sila sa Sg. What they said was that they would appreciate small items na lang since they live abroad and mahirap i-pack. Hehe.

chuchubells: yey! great to know you love the dresses. Ako decided na to get from Ms. Agatha kahit di ko pa nakikita actual dresses. Haha! Confused lang ako kung jersey or yung satin (?) material gagamitin. Feeling ko kasi baka magmukhang parang "casual" yung dresses if jersey. What's your opinion sis?

Nga pala, I also have a question. Would you know kung Manila Ocean Park lang ang may venue na may aquarium wall for reception? Hehe! Parang I might need to let go of LOL When I found out kasi about reception sa manila ocean park. natypan din ni h2b. so nakakatuwa na agree kami dun. Kaso when I got the quote, syempre mas mahal. Haha! So napaisip ako baka may similar venues. Plus, I'm not sure how the H2O food tastes like. TIA

about monetary gifts sa invites usually ang hindi nakakaintindi niyan is yung mga matanda na hindi pa nagkakaroon ng anak na kinasal or yung mga single.

Pero yung mga dumaan katulad natin na kinasal mga bandang since year 2000 tingin ko maintindihan nila yun.

yey! thanks sis earthangelivy! balak ko kasi sana yung makintab. mahilig kasi ako sa shiny shimmering splendid (nag Aladdin song daw ba ako.. haha). but kidding aside, yan mukhang ok naman na ang supplier ko for the girls' dresses.. need to settle na lang talaga kung ilan ba talaga ang BMs. Hehe. At least may solid na akong supplier bukod sa Church

May na pala tomorrow! Which means I have roughly 9 months to go before my wedding. Eeee ang bilis ng panahon! Wala pa akong couturier. Sa lahat ng major suppliers, yun nalang wala pa ako. Time to panic na ba? Haha.

About the monetary gifts, I see a lot of notes like that in wedding invites. My take on that is this: I personally don't mind that at all,  BUT it's not something I would put on my own invitations. EXCEPT if we were living abroad, but we're not, so I wouldn't put anything nalang. We're just planning to put a registry. Super convenient ng registry like Rustan's. You just choose the item that fits your budget and Rustan's delivers to the couple's home. So wala ka pang bitbit sa wedding day and the couple doesn't need to transport anything

hi girls, naglurker mode lang ako.. sobrang busy.. di ako nakapunta sa makeup 101 nung saturday. ang bilis ng thread natin, malapit na mag 30 pages... maghahanap kami this month ng flowershops sa Antipolo market, florist at gowns/suit na lang kulang ko sa major supplier.
