Can you suggest good reception venues w/in Mandaluyong and Pasig area?

Here are the venues we have checked so far...

Legend Villa
Astoria
Linden Suites
Renaissance Ortigas

Most of them are a bit high for our budget, saw a couple of caterers who are reasonably priced but we can't come up with a good venue.

Magkano ang range ng gown na ruffled skirt dun? Please help naman po. Uuwi kasi ako ng pinas 1 month before our wedding date. Haay. Di naman ako masyadong mastress nun diba.? Ang dami pa dapat ibook gusto ko before 2014 almost done na lahat ng suppliers namin.

Hi! Nakapagfit na ako sa Ivory and White sa Katipunan. Suggest ko talaga na magfit ng gowns para at least malaman niyo kung ano ang design babagay sa iyo

ayaw ng mother ko dahil sa kasabihan tapos nung panahon daw niya kasi lining lang daw. Dahil malas nga daw. Eh yung gown niya balot na balot na made of lace. kaya kahit maluwag or hindi fit ok lang walang wardrobe problem dun.

At pinapasuot niya sakin pag wala raw akong nakita na kasya sa budget ko. SAbi ko sa mom ko para akong the mummy movie pag sinuot yan ulo nalang ang hindi nakabalot hahaha.

Regarding bridal shower, sabi ko gusto ko spa party na lang! Ang chaka kasi kung may lalaking sumasayaw eh. hahahaha

omg... alam niyo na-try namin "pagtripan" yung barkada namin na unang kinasal. siguro mga lmost 3 years ago ito. so we got yung sumasayaw. take note mga wholesome kami ha. so soooobrang laugh trip kami. talagang nakahawak kami sa tyan kakatawa at kulang ata kabagan kami. tapos in the end, parang medyo naawa kami kay kuya. baka na-offend namin or something. pero hindi naman siya yung tinatawanan namin.. natawa na lang kami bigla na: hala! naghire talaga tayo ng ganito? tapos pag nittry kami lapitan ni kuya para sayawan thingy, tatawa na naman kami tapos medyo iiwas. nakakaloka lang pala kami nung araw na yun.

Sorry pero out of the topic question lang. Sino po dito yung nakapag book sa CLP photobooth nung last bridal fair sa SMX? Ano kasama sa promo nila dun sa Magnet strip and how much? Bka kasi may promo pa sila hanggang ngaun pero iba yung sabihin saking price since through email lang ako nakikipag negotiate. Para lang may idea ako. Thanks in advance!

Sis firealarm, you can buy RTW naman din. Sa Divi they have a lot of really nice RTWs already. If ever it needs to be altered to fit you perfectly I think 1 month is enough to do that.

Sis hanson15, like sis chocnats I got to try out din sa Ivory and White. I don't think it's wrong to fit your gown as long as you fit it with the designer and not on your own. How would you know if it looks good on you already or something needs to be fixed, diba? Tell your mom nalang na God's will ang mangyayari and not some old superstitious belief. Tell her you entrust the wedding to God.

Sis femmenagerie I had a similar experience when we threw a bridal shower for our friend last year. We got a stripper din. In fairness ah 5k din yun! Sumayaw lang ng 3 sets na wala pang 1 hour!

We're planning to get married May 2014, we already have ideas of what we want our wedding to be (mostly mine of course) but I haven't booked any supplier yet because inuuna kong tapusin yung pag-aayos sa binyag ng baby namin and then 1st birthday pa on December.

Ang budget lang namen sana for the wedding is 200k less than 100 persons naman eh saka I'm willing to help in anyway possible...

Church is Nuestra Seniora in Guadalupe, do you know any outdoor type venues near this place we could check kasi circus ang theme ng wedding namin eh.

Any help would be appreciated! If you could also direct me to a very good Coordinator who can help me on this one seeing that my budget is really low.. I would really really appreciate it!

Sis kaoru_himura, dun mismo sa church niyo merong garden para sa reception. I checked it before eh. It was an alternative kasi for us in case di available yung date namen sa first choice namen na church.

sis, i don't think we'll be able to move freely kung sa church kami magreception eh. 1st meju maiingay kami and of course may band sana and mobile bar so... we prefer na hindi na dun magreception para comfortable pati [textspeak!] mga guests if ever some of them go you know a bit tipsy

I actually work lang across the courtyard and I would have to check them out pa thanks sa suggestion although a tent might be required to achieve my dream theme there. yup garden type sana.. okay sana sa Makati Parks and Garden, unfortunately hindi masyadong okay yung comfort rooms nila doon eh pero it's still one of the options.

nanghinayang din ako kasi late ko na to nalaman. Ang alam ko may malapit na church din dito hindi ko lang sure kung kayang lakarin ng naka gown 

May garden diyan tapos meron din mga function halls.  Hindi ako personally nakapag inquire dito pero nalaman ko lang din ito through GT nakichika lang.
