Sis yo101, Mel Orlina is good. I order dresses from her as well. She is a good go-to for customized dresses kahit hindi for wedding.

I highly recommend Mel Orlina.  My friend recently went to her store and she's very accomodating and honest as well. Honest in a sense that she will tell you if it will look good on you but will still respect what you want. Supposedly, her entourage ( me included) will just have our clothes made somewhere else but she liked Mel so much that she decided to have our clothes to have it made by Mel  as well. 

hi sis yo101... would you know what area yung store ni Mel Orlina and her rates? Tsaka, would you know if she does mga infinity dresses? I contacted yung cheesecake and yung isa pang supplier na based from cebu (forgot her name basta nakita ko from this thread ata) kaya lang wala pa reply eh.

Sis femmenagerie, I believe the starting rate of Mel for wedding gowns is 40k. She can probably do infinity dresses but expect the rate to be around 6k up. Her shop is along Jupiter street lang in Makati.

^i talked to Mel about having another gown (reception). She told me she just acquired nice lacey fabric from thailand na parang tela sa mga gowns ni elie saab. soooo excited. will talk to her soon

Who among you knows the exact address of wedding gown seller in Taal Batangas? Magaganda daw ang gown dun at pulido, naisip ko kasi ma-compare sya kasi plan ko sa Pandi Bulacan bumili ng gown baka mas ok sa kanila... Yung mga taga Pandi may mga stall sa DIVI..Thanks in advance..

Malapit na kami mag-one year countdown pero tinatamad na akong mag-wedding preps. Well, halos nabook na rin naman lahat ng suppliers. Minor na lang mga kulang pero tinatamad na akong magresearch. Hirap rin pala pag super long engagement, nakakabagot rin. Parang gusto ko nang matapos ang lahat para lang kasal na kami! Haha!

I can relate sis chocnats. Ako din halos booked na lahat, tying lose ends nalang. Kaso dahil madami pakong time sa hands ko dami kong nakikitang gusto ko idagdag na ewan. Buti pa nga ikaw tinatamad na! Sana ako rin para di na lumaki budget namen! hahaha!

Mga sis, kelan ba dapat gingawa yung Bridal Shower! Nakakatawa di ko na realize na friends pala gagawa nun. So ako nag research na kumausap ng suppliers para tapos pag sabi ko sa best friend ko na bugnot! Sabi niya bakit ko daw yung pinaplano sila daw dapat yun! Hahaha! OMG, mangmang. Sorry namen...

Buti pa kayo dami nyo na nagawa, ako panay research lang sa June pa kasi ako makakauwi so hoping na sa 2 weeks stay ko madami ako ma accomplish.

femmenagerie am getting cheesecake for our entourage mag meet kami pag uwi ko ng June. then oorder na din me 3 dresses ( 2 swing dress + 1 twofer dress ) from her para sa akin and para makita ko na din kung maganda yung gawa nya at para mapakita na din sa mga girlash :-)

I got si Cheesecake for my entous as well. And I also ordered some dresses from her. Agatha is nice to talk to and also very organized.

Regarding bridal shower, sabi ko gusto ko spa party na lang! Ang chaka kasi kung may lalaking sumasayaw eh. hahahaha

OMG sis chocnats parehas tayo! May place nako na gusto. I just asked the girls to come up with the food, activities, etc. Na trigger happy na kasi ako eh so ni book ko na yun venue. And I asked Karmie to host the Bridal Shower din! Sama ko narin siya dun sa package for the Spa Party.

So yan ang reason na bugnot si BFF. Inunahan ko daw silang lahat. hehe...

Sabi ko nalang kela BFF na sila na bahala sa food and games and decor. My BFF will coordinate nalang with Karmie sa games and all since siya na kinuha kong host. I also asked si April of Manny and April Photography sana to take pictures but they are concentrating daw muna sa wedding projects nila sa ngayon, sayang! So am on the look out pa on who will take pictures of the event for the 4 hours time na andun kami. Sana mura lang!

haha! buti pa kayo ganyan ang "problema" niyo chocnats and earthangelivy. ako kagabi nanaginip na super kulang na ako sa oras for next year... weirdo lang. and im not officially engaged, i mean yung ring thingy. napagusapan lang namin ni boyps na next year na target sana namin. maybe this is the reason din bakit minsan nawiwirdohan ako na im planning stuff to think walang "proposal" na naganap. i mean, im not after the ring and all, siguro traditional lang din pala ako in real life

anyway, sis chuchubells and earthangelivy: kayo pala yung kukuha kay cheesecake! haha! pa-advise naman kung maganda pagkakagawa. i just got a reply from marilenn ong yung cebu supplier.. mas mahal siya kay cheesecake as per the fb account. speaking of, yung nasa fb account ba ni cheesecake is yun na yung final rates nia? or pwede pa babaan?

@femmenagerie: hehe okay lang yan! basta ang importante pareho niyong napagusapan na magpapakasal kayo. Ako rin nagstart nang magresearch kahit wala pang proposal nun para lang magkaidea rin kung magkano magagastos namin if ever. Hehe.

femmenagerie yup mas mura sya kay Marilenn but then i really havent seen her work, mabait lang talaga si Ms Agatha to answer my questions hehe to dun pa lang love ko na sya. I am ordering from her this month, need ko lang paisipan kung what color hehe. Based dun sa FB page nya if your order a minimum qty may discount and freebie na ok naman sa budget kasi planning to get from her at least 10 dresses, pag naka usap ko sya sa June would try to ask for more discount :-) pero decided na ako talaga sa kanya eh
