ako na ata pinaka-productive na 2014 b2b :D

Wala pa akong nabook na major suppliers.

Na-book na namin last feb yung souvenirs & invitations, then this month candy buffet naman :P

Do you prefer it beaded or lacey? And are you working on a specific budget for the gown lang? So we can recommend for you. :)

May time pa sis nikki09. Book na nga your caterer and venue! May prospects ka na? :)

Gana ng rings mo sis! :) good job! Haha. Okay lang yan kahit over budget.

Hehe. Plus, free resizing pa! :)

Share ko lang suppliers namin for our kinda intimate and budget wedding hehe. 100 pax lang kasi kasama na dun suppliers  :)

Church: Blessed John Paul @ Eastwood (we prefer kasi na airconditioned yung church since summer wedding namin)
Reception venue: Riverfront Residences Clubhouse, Pasig City
Photo/Video: FramedUp Production (team of Mot Rasay and Bong Fernandez)
Caterer: Patio de Tata Roque
HMUA: Anne Garcia

Still looking for...
1. Wedding ring (plan namin pumunta sa Mayfair sa Ongpin)

Goodluck saten 2014 brides!  :D

Hanson15: I think I saw yung name na Ilustrado somewhere sa mga forums dito and decided to email them. Haha! yup venue and cater ilustrado.. Gusto ko rin sana Ibarra's garden. I'm checking my notes now.. For 150 pax, sabi nila it'll be PhP 10420/ head + 12% vat. so kung tama ang math ko cheaper siya than Ilustrado... Haha! Excess of 150pax will be PhP 778.40/head. I can share yung pdf files nila Ilustrado and Ibarra's to anyone who's interested. Para may reference kayo. Just let me know :) Ang diff lang ata nilang 2 is that Ilustrado is within Intramuros while Ibarra's Garden is sa may P. Faura if I remember correctly.. Also, walang overnight sa Ibarra's. Sa totoo lang parang mas friendly yung feeling ko with Ibarra's pero habol ko rin yung hotel eh. para less to worry about. I'm not sure lang if makakamura din talaga if kuhanin ko si Ibarra's tapos book a separate hotel. And depende pa sa food tasting pala :)

sis sorry yung nakuha mo ba na package from gigs events wedding na 150k all in is ang caterer na nirerefer nila is Illustrado?

hanson15: i forgot to ask... when did you get married? ang galing naman ng 250k with honeymoon budget niyo! :p

sis hindi pako kinakasal 2014 bride ako and november pa. Honeymoon budget namin is good for 2 worth 15k either bora or coron or el nido. DIY lang tapos abang seatsale  ;D

hanson15: ay onga pala 2014 brides ang thread na ito! haha! anyway, ibang package yung sa ilustrado. yung gigs is pinagiisipan ko pa kontakin, kasi parang baka hindi worth it eh. i mean in terms of quality nung mga suppliers. so ayun. hehe. isip ko kung posible kaya to ask ilustrado for a quote na walang hotel accomm? h2b says type niya daw talaga yung food dun eh during meetings. tapos baka daw makahingi siya discount sa manila hotel (yung hotel included sa quoted package from ilustrado) dun sa magiging new company niya since same owner daw.

naisip ko pala... may overnight hotel accommodations for 2 diba. so that means most likely that will be offered the night of the reception?

so kailangan ko rin pala kumuha ng separate rooms for the day before the wedding para sa shoot ng wedding preps in the morning. ngayon lang ata nagsi-sink in sa akin na matinding planning ito ha. :))

May prospect naman na kaso siyempre I want to meet them personally para madiscuss ng maayos yung package nila and yung mga inclusions and exclusions. And the budget pa, 10k lang reservation pero 50% of the total price babayaran na rin after 1 month of reservation (though ang offer is payable din naman in 4 months, kaso malaki pa rin ang 20k++ per month). Baka after nun wala na akong ma-book lol. And 2014 rates na rin bigay nila sa akin so wala na rin yung price lock thing

Sis femmenagerie, yes sis normally sa night na ng wedding yun pero best parin to ask them. And also, perhaps you can ask them to book in your behalf narin para you can get the rates that they are being offered? Normally cheaper rate kasi binibigay sa suppliers eh. :)

Sis nikki09, ay sad naman 2014 rates na. Siguro kasi consumable kaya parang ayaw ng price lock ng majority ng caterers. Pero there are those naman that are okay to price lock sa current rates eh. Maybe you can scout pa other caterers? :)

Mga sis, I got this nice ebook pala on marriage by Tyler Ward. Short lang siya, 18 pages. Good read siya kasi it gives a different perspective on viewing married life. PM me if you want a copy I can send it sa email address niyo. :)

sis earthangelivy, package ang venue & caterer eh. If we get them separately makukuha ko yung caterer ng 2013 rates but the venue is 2014 na ata.

Yeah, sis shyecocasuyon. Nice dun sa St. James. My friend is getting married there and I will be one of her Bridesmaids. Where will you do the reception? Fernbrook is really nice!

I got si Amonn Velasco for the gowns. His starting rate is 29k only and the most expensive one is 35k. Mine is fully beaded, inspired by a Marchesa gown by Tony Ward. 35k only! And his entou dresses are Php 2,500 for the knee length and 3k for the floor length ones. The mom gowns are Php 3,500.00 only. Am not too keen kasi to spend to much sa gown na will be worn for a few hours only! So am very happy with his rates. :)

thanks for the suggestion, earthangelivy! magawa nga yan. sayang ang possible discount. :D

hi nikki09, tama ba Light of Love yan? parang second choice ko nga sila after Ilustrado package kasi cheaper. Kaso nagaalangan ako sa 50% dp a month after reservation fee. mabigat sa bulsa. tatanong ko pa si h2b kung papayag siya sa LoL if ever, kasi mukhang type na type niya yung Ilustrado food.

We haven't gone to food tastings... sa October 2014 pa naman kami. Do you think it's too early para mag food tasting? hehe. ay tsaka if may naka-try na sa inyo ng both Hizon's and Ilustrado.. Sino mas ok? I've heard household name si Hizon's.

Last, pano kayo nagsstart ng convo kay h2b about wedding preps? Nahihiya kasi ako magtanong kay boyps eh baka makulitan sa akin tsaka baka it's too early. One time kasi, I asked him for a sample guestlist tapos sabi niya he thinks masyado maaga. So ngayon, research mode ako at nagpipigil magtanong kay boyps.

Sis femmenagerie, I prefer the food of Ilustrado than that of Hizon's but for styling mas nice kay Hizon's.  Hizon's has a Grand Food Tasting sa April 7 sa Blue Leaf. That way you can check out their food and their styling. Here is their number 925-01-07, cellphone number is 0927-5747551. You can register for their food tasting via those numbers. Or register online here:

http://www.jotform.com/form/82181423475

Got an email invite from them kasi I inquired sa kanila before. I attended their food tasting in La Castellana previously when we wanted to book dun. Kaso we had to choose Diamond over them because of parking space.

For the convo naman with H2B. Am thinking you can ask him if sure na yung date na napili niyo for October. That will be a good intro to say na you are thinking of booking the major suppliers already for that date because you noticed they get booked so fast and that some are willing to accept price locks if you book them early hence you get cheaper rates compared to if you book at a later time. Hope that helps! Kasi that worked for me! hehe... :)

thanks sa info earthangelivy! sayang. mukhang pass ako sa april 7 food tasting. celeb ng grad and bday ng sister ko eh. hehe. pero tawagan ko na rin sila for other scheds. :))

@shyecocasuyon try joel escober he's based in BF homes so most likely near your place. I also like his wedding gowns but I went for CA. For photographer naman try to inquire with Ian santillan he is based in Alabang, I think his style is similar to metrophoto. Happy preps. ;)
