Is there a thing as caramel-scent na perfume? Been thinking, a lot of girls sa place namin wear vanilla eh.. So I really want to have something like caramel or marshmallow or mocha scent.. But now, i'm looking for a perfume na amoy caramel. Is there such thing? And do you know any?

FOURever, you can find perfumes with caramel notes. Vanilla is popular because most of the perfumes use it as one of base notes. The base note sits on the skin longest and usually is part of the heart of the perfume, together with the middle notes.
When you spray a perfume, the first you smell there are the top notes. When you shop for scents/fragrances, dont just rely on the first minutes because the common mistake when buying is when you smell them after immediately applying them, you will say, "ay antapang!" and ditching the perfume, but that should not be the case. Wait for the scent to develop a bit and then you make the judgement.
And now, regarding perfumes with caramel... I´ve tested these so far. And note that when a perfume has so much sweetness on it, it can be cloying but of course, it still depends on individual tastes.
Prada Candy - it is a strong, sophisticated, drapey caramel then mellows down to a warm yet soft gourmand scent. Not your typical fun, sugary, teeny boppy fragrance as the name suggests. A Longevity is very good, it stayed up to 10 hours on me.
Aquolina Pink Sugar - this is more cotton candy, but there is definitely a strong caramel in this one. This one is a girly, fun kind of sweet perfume that will make you think cookies, creme brûlée, pralines and just sugar! On me, at first few minutes, it smells like licorice the first few minutes and then after that, it turns all sugar-crazy, like that of a freshly spun cotton candy. And finally, comes this soft, creamy caramel in the end.
Demeter Caramel Fragrance - as the name implies, it is caramel, but i smell a tad of maple syrup in here. Still, this is all warm, soothing caramel and sugary treat. Stays around 3- 4 hours on my skin.
Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy - A combination of caramel, vanilla and pralines... while the first three are pure sugar delights, this one has a bit flowery note in it. While
Pink Sugar and
Candy are strong, this one is non-offensive. Yet I feel that this is quite generic already. Yet in terms of target users, this is a all round crowd-pleaser.
Staying power is moderate, around 4-6 hours.
I want to recommend
Thierry Mugler´s Angel and
Taste of Fragrance Alien. They have caramel notes in them together with other notes, just to mix things up a bit. Mga vavavoom fragrances sila but if you want to try them too, if ever you get a hold of them.
