Ever wonder why some people are so good in business?

Is there really an "insider secret"?

Is hard work really the key to success?

After doing coaching and consulting entrepreneurs locally and   
abroad, I'll share to you ONE distinctive common denominators.

And that is, they are "problem solvers."

Meaning, they look around and ask themselves "anong problema ang pwede kong solusyonan?"

They then create a product or service to solve that problem.

While most aspiring entrepreneurs, ask themselves "how can I make   
money fast?"

That's a BIG difference between success and failure.

Successful entrepreneurs focus on serving others while frustrated   
aspiring entrepreneurs focus on serving themselves.

So sa paghahanap mo ng tamang negsyo, tanungin mo ang sarili   
mo...

Anong problema ang pwede kong solusyonan?

I think some people are really gifted in managing a business... maybe it's luck rin sometimes pero I think merong mga naturally talented. Some also succeed using a very structured and academic aproach pero pag iniisip ko minsan meron naman di pinagaralan pero umasenso.. hehe

The harder they work the luckier they become.

There are basic traits required to get ahead in life:  dedication to hard work, perseverance & consistency. 
Then, there are basic must-haves:  an open-mind and people skills.  Luck too.

IMO, looking at problems to solve is a good start.  IMO though, this is self-limiting. 
For me, a better take-off is what they  stress in Marketing subjects/courses:  address A Need.
A Need includes more: a Solution to a problem, a Want, or even a Want/Need not yet perceived.

Biographies of the best entrepreneurs highlight their focus on making the market realize it needs something.  These entrepreneurs then martial teams of the best problem solvers to deliver on their vision.

Working hard is not enough.  Productivity is key to maximizing hard work.  So, I prefer to say: Productive people get luckier the more they work.

One thing is that inaral nila yung business na papasukin nila not just dahil "patok to ngayon" or "Sa ganito umunlad si ganyan".

These people invested on themselves, they researched, read books and they took time in knowing their customers.

Aside from learning how to start a business, you should also learn how to handle success. Some people fail kasi once they are on top and hindi naman sila prepared to face it, namimis-manage rin yung pera.

Ako tanong ko lang, paano kaya uunlad yung business kung ang only source of income mo eh galing sa business? Kasi kung ito lang syemre yung kita mo magagamit mo so parang paikot lang mangyayari nyan? Bat kaya yung ibang businessman na nagsimula lang din sa maliit napapalago nila, ano kayang ginagawa nila. Ako kasi yung business ko yun lang source of income ko, salary ni hubby is not enough so nagagalaw ko instead na maipon nauubos ko din yung kita, nagtataka ako bat hindi naiipon eh hindi naman ako nakakabili ng pangluho ko like mga usong gadgets di ko mabili bili, patang ang nagiging savings ko lang eh yung insurance na hinuhulugan ko monthly.  Nangyayari paikot lang hindi lumalago.

Minsan tuloy hindi ako maniwala na sila henry sy, gokongwei eh galing sa hirap at yumaman sila dahil sa businesses nila. Share naman kayo POV nyo mga sis.

It only means that your business is not making enough. It's not BIG enough. You are still in a stage of your business where you only have a job. You really can't say you have a business na.

A business should give you BOTH time and money. A luxury that most people will never experience in their entire life.

What you need to do is to make your business bigger than you are. It's big enough that that you can hire employees to do the work and have some profit for you to enjoy with your family.

I think they are so good in business kasi meron silang katangian na wala sa iba.. Iyon ay iyong PUSO nila s kanilang business. Dapat kasi sa business hindi lang kailangan ang HARD WORK, kailangan mahalin mo rin ang business mo.. Kung hindi mo ito nagugustuhan better to change it na iyong sa tingin mo pag ginawa mo, ibibigay mo talaga iyong buong PUSO mo para maging successful ka.. Parang pag-ibig lang iyan, pag hindi mo talaga mahal wag mo ng ipilit.. Better to let it go, kasi madami pang ibang mas deserving para sa iyo.

Failure is an important ingredient to success.  Most successful business people have had their share of failures.  Ganyan yung story na naririnig ko most of the time sa mga ini-interview.  Ang point is, hindi sila nag-stop nung nag-fail sila.  Meron tayong dapat matutunan sa bawat failure and we can think of it as a step in getting closer to our goals.  We can also learn from other people's failures.

But yet, most people don't want to make mistakes.

How can I make my business bigger sir, wala naman kasi akong puhunan na malaki at sobrang dami na ng kompetisyon dito sa online. Online business lang kasi yung sa akin. May kakilala ako nakakapag net ng more than 6k/day. How I wish maging ganun din yung sa akin..

Hello! Sis, dati ganyan din ako. Kahit na may job ako nagagamit ko pa yung kita ko sa business sa pang personal ko kaya ang pera ko dun umiikot lang din. Pero nung December, pinilit ko na di ko na magalaw yung income ko dun. Kaya ngayon, nakikita ko na kumikita na din pala kahit papano yung negosyo ko.

Saludo ako sa mga intsik pagdating sa negosyo. May chinese friend ako, one time nasabi ko sa kanya, "Basta intsik, ang galing sa negosyo."  Ang sagot nya sa akin, "Wala sa pagiging intsik ang galing sa negosyo kailangan lang disiplina pagdating sa pera, maliit man o malaki." Kaya dun ako napaisip kasi medyo gastador ako at pagdating sa food di ko magawang magtipid.. hehe!

Hi sis! IMO, kung online business yan at nagsisimula ka palang, mahihirapan ka talaga. Dapat ialok mo din yan sa neighbors mo, friends, relatives at sa mga friends pa nila. Kumbaga yung online business, sideline mo lang muna. Sa akin din kasi may online shop din ako pero mas kumikita ako sa mga friends at relatives ko..
