Theres a japanese turo turo at tondo sellingn authentic japanese food... the cook is japanese .. grabe the flavor it is really authentic talaga.
lately i also discover food kioks 2 to 3 kioks located at Cartimar Pasay, and the are owned and run but japanese that employ filipino as helpers. The food are still very flavorful. And cheap.

OMG, the sashimi cuts in Kai (Greenbelt) are so generous! Yellow tail sashimi for P420, but the cuts are generous! Ganun din sa salmon sashimi, P350 yata yun. Promise! If i compare it sa iba, yung sa iba, thin slivers of sashimi lang.

I really enjoyed lunching at Ooma. Been wanting to go since it opened at Megamall, but I've no patience to wait in line. Anyway, we had the gyudon (melts in your mouth fatty goodness!), salmon skin aburi maki, and scallop & tuna aburi maki. Everything's good, and fairly priced, too.

I need to Mecha Uma soon!

Not so good yung food sa Kimono Ken. When they first opened not bad naman food nila. The other day nag chicken teriyaki, tempura, katsudon and gindara kami. For the price, Kimpura is a way better alternative.

nakakatakam yung gyudon (100php lang-small), pati yung niku fuji. iniisip ko nga baka filipinized na yung timpla nila or menu? kaya lang parang hindi gagawin ng mga hapon yun...

Tried Ichiba in Newport Mall twice, and both times e satisfied naman kami sa food. I notably liked their takoyaki, uni sashimi, ramen is good din, pati their yakitori are good (especially the chicken skin, beef, etc). Tempura was good din, pero kasi medyo common na yung good tempura. Nagpaluto din kami ng parang small scallops (forgot the exact name), sarap din.

Then the other night, nagcrave kami bigla for uni sashimi so we went to Yuujin ulit. Sarap!

There's a new restaurant on Araulo Street in San Juan/Mandaluyong area. The restaurant is called Tomo. It's so good! Best to make reservations first. It's usually full!
