Japanese restaurants!!!

^We prefer eating sa Izakaya Kikufuji instead of seryna. For us, mas gusto namin yung food nila. Ang gusto ko lang sa Seryna are their lunch sets but for ala cart menu, we prefer Izakaya Kikufuji

speaking of kikufuji, nagpunta kami kaninang lunch. ang tagal na rin kasi akong niyayaya ni hubby na tikman yung gyu kushi (beef), ito ata yung binaggit ni sis stormy: "grilled pork na with salt lang na skewered/naka-stick" masarap ito but my brain is telling me not eat too much of this; para kang kumain ng masarap at malambot na inihaw na taba ng liempo.

nagustuhan rin ni hubby yung chirashi though mas ok pa rin daw yung sa Haru.

we recently tried OEDO Japanese restaurant at Biak na Bato, QC near Siena College.. we ate during lunch time and we had the lunch bento set. we availed the Teriyaki Grilled Salmon set at Php 350 per head. it had soup, rice, side salad and fruits. they served unlimited barley tea. the salmon was great.. they had other lunch options with a Php 300-350 price tag..

we also ordered kani salad which was delish.. and the beef teppanyaki which was great. the serving size was a bit small but it was enough for 2 persons splitting the salad and beef plus we had our bento.

our bill was at around 1200.. the food was good but the service could definitely use some improvement. the staff when asked about their food would sometimes don't know how to answer the question. they should get trained to answer about the food they serve and other basic stuff. will definitely come back here. i heard it looks better at night. =)

We were able to try Ooma at Megamall. Saraaaaap!!!! yung scallop and salmon maki and yung gyudon ang na-try ko. Super love! I wanna go back!

Mga sis, pag napadpad kayo sa Kapitolyo, Pasig, try nyo sa Ramen Cool. Di ko na mabilang kung ilang beses na kami nagpabalik-balik dun. Hindi mahal pero their food is really yummy! Best Ebi Tempura I've tried so far is from that resto! Other favorites are RCool Ramen, Sukiyaki, Gyoza and California Love. Must try din yung drink nila na Kohi Ice which is ice-cubed coffee in a glass tapos bubuhusan mo ng hot fresh milk and syrup. Very unique!

It's my first time to try ippudo and i liked it! For me, their ramen is better than ramen nagi. I love their pork buns too.

i like sushi-ya as well. consistent ang luto and masarap, value for your money. ewan ko nga ba kung bakit sila nagclose ng mga branches, pati yung dito sa t.morato. feeling ko hindi naman sila lugi kasi steady ang dating ng tao but not overcrowded.

First time to try Haru. Kinda underwhelming. Yeah, maganda decors and ambiance. Nice din attire ng wait staff. But the food was ok lang. Nothing special naman compared to other ka-level price-range na Japanese resto. Naliitan pa ako sa servings ng sashimi. And konti lang nagustuhan ko sa maki choices.

But we might go back again to try other dishes, like yung parang bone marrow and yung parang baby squid tempura na nakita namin kanina na inorder ng ibang table. We'll see, if mataon ulit na me available parking sila.

For now, I'd choose Yuujin (Wilson St., Greenhills) over Haru. Mas sulit sa Yuujin. But i'm glad na naka-try din ako sa Haru, one off the list of restos to try na.

Tried Ooma, bit overrated for me. Not bad but not as great as I expected from the reviews.

@quinone, parehas tayo ng feeling pero masarap kaya kahit 1 tikman mo sis nag-try kami ng japanesek resto dito sa paris. Masungit na karamihan dito pero mas ok pa rin experience ko kaysa sa naishare ko sa previous post.

Taisho ken sa rue du colisse near sa champs-elysees. Nagsearch lang ako sa tripadvisor ng almost 5-stars na rating kaya ko napili ang taisho ken. Halos lahat ng naiorder namin masarap at syempre mahal, miss ko na asian food kaya ok na lang

Genki Sushi- fun concept but low quality ang food. nakaka aliw lang. hehe

First time to dine at Omakase (Molito Alabang) and I love it there. We had:
Omakase Salad (Kani Salad) ~ it was so so
Chicken Teppan ~ really yum! ♥ garlicky in a good way ♥♥♥
Dynamite Maki ~ yummy too
Tempura ~ chunky shrimp! I think this was the first time I had tempura that there was more shrimp than breading ;p
And price is sulit!
