first, hindi ako masyado qualified mag review because i do not eat sashimi/sushi, but anyway...
i am disappointed with Nihonbashi Tei (qc). di na kami babalik dito. ganito rin ba sa pasay road? i mean the food handling, service, taste, prices, etc?
kung sa tomas morato lang i'd stick with:
Ariake - tempura, agedashi, and their american dream
Zensho - for their oyster motoyaki and sushi
zaan tea house - i like their onigiri (near morato)
Sushiya - too bad this one has closed pero sa experience ko consistent ang luto dito
izakaya at sta. mesa - i remember maraming tao nun pero mabilis ang service and the food was good too.
wafu - tried their food at izakaya festival, didn't like it pero i want to give this resto another chance.
seryna - ang ayoko sa place na ito malansa though happy naman si hubby sa mga sushi dito.
tsukiji - lunch sets, definitely value for money if you are within the area. (any wagyu ohmi reviews? or am i better off eating at wagyu japanese beef sa makati?)
various ramen houses -hindi ko talaga type ang ramen.
katsu places - ginza bairin then second best for me is yabu. i didn't like saboten very much. have not tried maisen.
tenya tempura - ok, the service is good
osaka ohsho - i am not a fan of gyoza kaya ok lang rin for me
tokyo-tokyo - i honestly used to like their misono
...not anymore
worst japanese resto for me is Akira and yakimix. i have been to kimpura, omakase, redkimono, kimonoken but i cannot remember the experience/food.
Haru - best japanese resto so far, dami ko pang hindi na-try so my restaurant list is still very long.
