Japanese restaurants!!!

Dined at tajimaya at moa last night. Grabe hindi namin maubos ni hubby ang eat-all-you-can bbq. beef, pork, shrimps, squid, chicken, sausage, kikiam, unlimited greens, salad, rice and iced tea. Bundat to the max hehe

^yes sis for 599 per head ang ultimate eat-all-you-can and 50% off ang mga kids. We noticed mostly family nga ang mga kumakain. I heard there's also a branch at Rockwell. While typing this parang nag cra craving na naman ako ng yakiniku hehe

Craving for yakiniku. Though it was a holy monday, hubs and I dined at tajima at harbor square. We ordered angus beef ribs with sanchu, jap rice and and miso soup.

Kenji tei in greenbelt 5:
Crispy chicken teriyaki: super sarap! Ang lutong niya outside but very soft inside. Tama lang din sweetness.
Cheese gyoza : i love this lalo na when dipped in mayo.
Cha sio ramen: ok ok pang yung ramen but the cha sio makes it perfect! Super soft amd malasa yung meat niya.
Ebi tempura: in fairness medyo malaki siya ha and hindi puro flour lang. Yummy din.

^we tried naman Kenjie Tei in ATC

masarap yung crispy chicken teriyaki pero naumay ako sa tamis..
yung katsudon nila, nakahiwalay sa rice. masrap yung sauce matigas lang yung pork.
we love their california maki! next time try namin ramen nila...

i also love the service. attentive mga waiters

i was craving for gyudon and had one sa omakase, disappointing super super ccraving for little tokyo restaurants!

baka nagkamali pagka luto sa iyo sis.  fave ko yung gyudon ng omakase and masarap din yung mga rolls nila

Open na yung japanese bbq resto beside ihop. i forgot the name, pero it looks masarap. Parang ang bango rin sa labas nung napadaan kami

Omakase - Best maki place in town for me.
Kimono Ken - My all-time fave because it costs less compared to other restaurants and it's good.
Tokyo Bubble Tea - I love their milk tea.
Nomama - Best ramen place for me.
Yabu - Stuffiest tonkatsu you can find with unli rice, miso soup, and cabbage (love the dressing).
Tokyo Tokyo - For your quick fix Jap food.

Had dinner at east cafe inside rustans and it was surprisingly good

we had family dinner at Omakase for the second time. our repeat dishes were Salmon Sashimi and Dynamite Roll (uber yum!!! tamang-tama lang ang spice niya for us).

tapos the rest of our dishes, we tried some dishes we haven't ordered during our first time there:

- Jurassic Maki - masarap din siya, lalo na yung salmon skin roll and ebi tempura sa loob, crunchy! yum! pero syempre #1 maki pa rin namin is the Dynamite Roll but Jurassic is also good, something we'll order again

- Kakiage - pwede na, pero not something i'll rave about

- Seafood Dumpling - masarap, malasa and maganda ang pagkakaluto nung fish na natikman ko. uber busog na so di ko na-try yung iba

- Salmon Teppan - so-so lang yung taste nung sauce, but the salmon is well-cooked

we ordered udon pero i can't remember the name, so-so lang

May promo ngayon ang sugi: 50% off sa lahat ng entrees except drinks monday to friday lang though for metrobank holders. Tagal ko na rin di kumakain dun pero nagyaya yung isang friend ko for dinner. Anyway, generally mas masarap ang food (like yung gindara, tempura and steak) sa kimpura and mas generous ang servings compared sa sugi.

Ajisen Ramenat Rob Place Manila : i like their food. We ordered gyudon, chicken teriyaki don and ebi tempura. Yummy lahat and affordable pa.

All time favorite namin ang kimpura, love namin ang angus ribeye steak nila with mixed fried rice. Lately, nagugustuhan din namin ang Watami. Masarap ang ramen nila tsaka Watami salad.

Hands down Yushoken in Molito best authentic ramen. I had the Tsukemen or "dipping ramen." It has a rich pork taste without the greasy taste.

They only have chopsticks. Strictly no spoon and fork. No delivery and take out.

A bit pricey but it was very worth it.
