Ayaw mo? Mas tipid kainin? Hehe... What we do is slice it mga 1 inch thick lang para di nakaka umay.... Kaya mas gusto ko pa rin ang becky's. My all-time fave talaga.



My sister ordered rainbow cake from cake shack early May. She got 2 agad. Excited... Sadly i wasnt in manila then kaya hanggang picture lang ako..... Everyone loved it except my mom. Bland daw. Nyek... But my doggie, super loved it. Buti pa aso ko naka taste na. Inggit ako.

So far ang best chocolate cake na natikman ko pa rin is Luxe's Choco Matignon. Becky's Kitchen is also yummy too.

I am still looking for the best red velvet cake or cupcake. Wala pa rin nakakapagbigay ng unforgetable feeling sa akin. hehe

Ako I love Campfire, gusto ko kasi sa cake yung may chewables. Haha. Hindi yung plain chiffon lang.

@twelve5, I have ordered Cake Shack's rainbow cake kasi ka-village lang namin sila.  My kids did not like it because the frosting is a bit lemony.  But I liked it and it looked good on photos.

For chocolate cakes, I like Polly's, Nono's chocolate oblivion by Classic Confections, Chocolate Delight by Sweet Inspirations, Mom & Tina's chocolate fudge cake, chocolate ganache cake by Karen's Kitchen and Shoppersville's chocolate cake with yema filling.   And the best chocolate cupcake for me is the one by Roshan.

Mas gusto ko ang Grandma's chocolate cake and sans rival ng Purple Oven than the Chocolate Campfire.

I went to Conti's yesterday and ordered Strawberry Shortcake at first nagdalawang isip ako dahil mango bravo lagi kong kinakain, but Strawberry Shortcake did not fail me. =D  Masarap siya hindi nakakaumay and masarap yung icing tamang tama lang =D

sobrang sulit sis ng unlimited coffee and cakes ng cravings/the coffee beanery. of course since unlimited, dont expect top of the notch pero pwede na, masarap. i love the carrot cake the most and yung mga cheesecake. maganda if magtatagal kayo ng mga friends niyo or for my case, dito ako nag-aaral.

Yup, nice nga rainbow cakes for photo ops. Panay kodak nga ng sister ko nun. =)
Too bad your kids didnt like it. 

Hmm... Have you tried Vargas Kitchen's butter cake but with icing? They have 2 variants - buttermallow and mocha icings. I dont know how new they are,  but they are definitely new to me. Hehe. I just read about them today....  I like their butter cake but i dont know if it tastes better with icing. Anyway, i'll try them next time im in manila.

^ Haven't tried Vargas butter cake with icing.  Parang sobrang tamis na if with icing.

^ exactly what i was thinking... Although baka they tweaked the butter cake itself to make it less sweet or the icings are more on the bland side para di overpowering.  Hula lang. Hehe

I checked their fb page, mid 2012 pa pala yung with marshmallow icing. buttermallow birthday cake tawag nila.

New cake discovery: mini choco decadent at mini stop. 45 lang. So moist and rich!

di na masarap yung choco cake sa starbucks dry saka walang las ayung caramel filling. mas masarap yung dati...

^ Try the strawberry pistachio cake.  It's the only good cake now in Starbucks.  Pati pastries and cookies hindi na masarap.

May nagbebenta na ng Rodilla's cake sa Trinoma.Although every Saturday and Sunday lang.
