I've tried ucc's and karen's red velvet and for me mas like ko ucc though more expensive. Di ko sure but when i bought one at karen's last valentine's day i asked if they still supply ucc and the staff said not anymore.

Anyway, i googled cukay's and it looks mouth watering. I want one for my baby's bday this sunday. Sana meron sila sa rob magnolia this week.

^feeling ko tuloy yun pa lang ang kakaibang cake na natikman ko.. usually kasi i'll always buy chocolate kind of cake.. other than chocolate, yung mga mocha, butter or caramel cake, either from red ribbon or goldilocks, or estrel's..  kaya winner talaga sya..

Di ko type ang red velvet sa cukay's. Sobrang tamis. Masyadong madaming powdered sugar for me. Grainy tuloy ang texture ng icing at di ko na malasahan ang cream cheese kung cream cheese frosting nga ba ginamit na icing.

sis evilwoman ..yun naman ang gusto ko sis yung ma-sugary yes its still cream cheese ..yung Cukay's lang ang medyo sugary sa na try kong mga RVC, kaya mas nag stand out siya for me

@dec_girl, sis sa tulad ko na d mahilig sa carrot cake e nagustuhan ko cupcake lang yun sis d pala cake sis sorry. Sarap nun frosting bagay sa carrot cake.

@evilwoman, ano masarap sa cukay sis? Maraming raves dito sa GT kaso pag nakikita ko sa rockwell walang kalatoy-latoy sa akin yun booth nila.

@u8mypink, oo sis wala sila minis nun toffee pudding kaya d bumili husband ko. Masasayang sa amin, cupcake nagshe-share pa kami kasi d kami masyado sa matamis. Nagulat ako sa red velvet d matamis, sa starbucks kasi last year hindi ko nagustuhan yun version nila.

@purpleish, yes sis ang dami2x ko na cakes I shared it with my sis and friends kanina d ko naman makakain kasi lahat yun. Carrot cake lang muna natikman ko today. Bukas naman yun iba.

Maraming raves dito sa GT kaso pag nakikita ko sa rockwell walang kalatoy-latoy sa akin yun booth nila.

hehe totoo ito. chaka sa ilang napuntahan kong booths before, walang cake. puro brownies at cupcake. kaya parang tinamad na ako.

sa red velvet naman, medyo nagustuhan ko yung sa Starbucks, sayang di na sila naglabas. maasim ng konti yung cake nila, mas gusto ko ganung type ng RVC. ang ayoko lang may dagdag na white choco sa icing.

yung sa UCC di ko nagustuhan. kulang sa icing at lasang may dagdag rin na white chocolate (baking) sa icing. for me ha, nalalansahan ako sa white baking choco.

natikman ko before yung RVC ng Bambi's (mercato), nagustuhan ko. too bad hindi sila sumasagot sa phonecall ko, so i guess ayaw nila magtinda? lol.

yung Sophie's Mom na RVC parang nao-overdose ako sa cream cheese, parang tinamad gumawa ng icing. e kung cream cheese lang rin, bibili na lang ako sa grocery at magpakalunod doon. although, nagustuhan ko yung 'cake' part kasi may chocolate bits. dahil as far as i know chocolate cake talaga ang RVC. kadalasan di ko na matikman yung pagka chocolate ng ibang RVC.

kung may mixer nga lang ako, i'll just make my own icing.

@stormy - red velvet lang natikaman ko sa kanila.yun kasi ang madaming rave dito.ok naman yung mismong cake.sobrang tamis lang ng frosting nya.

@stormy: try mo sa sunod. Ok lang loaf size, tumatagal naman sya basta nasa freezer. Dapat talaga kais frozen sya, tapos if you want reheat sandali before kainin. Hehe bagay sa summer coz pwede may ice cream pero ako, type ko kainin ng frozen, di tumitigas yung cake!

Ubos na yung crack pie namin! Ang sarap... and ang tamis hahaha!

sis stormy ...haha like ko sa Cukay's yung RVC and Lemon Bars meron pa akong nakita sa powerplant na RVC start with letter A, sayang hindi ko na try kasi busog na, ako naman aliw na aliw sa mga tinda 2x sa gitna parang lahat gusto ko itry...
