Do you let your baby sleep on his/her tummy?

I noticed my baby has just changed her preference in sleeping position. When she learned to turn on her tummy, somewhere mid 4th month, she has been trying to sleep on her stomach. We keep on putting her on her back, even if it disturbs her sleep. I've heard a lot about SIDS and I'm just freaking afraid of losing my baby, we might not notice or hear her cry because we're all in deep slumber. Thing is even if she rolls on her tummy, she can't go back to supine position. She is nearing 6 months. Is it OK, based on your experience mommies? Can I just let her sleep through the night on her stomach?

I don't think there's any way to prevent her from flipping onto her tummy. If you're bothered about it, you can always flip her over again.

My baby started sleeping on her tummy around 6 months old, we just let her be coz she wakes up and cries when we flip her over. We just make sure there's nothing else in her crib that can cover her mouth or nose.
