Ako din sis nag DIY. Twice ko pa na-bleach on the same day. It's very sucessful naman and andaming nagagandahan kasi smooth yung transition nya from dark to light hehe. Medyo makapal yung strand ng hair ko. Di naman nadamage yung sakin. I used HBC Bleach lang.

Ano ba gamit mo sis saka gano katagal mo binabad?

It will help kung gagamit ka ng keratin treatment. Up to now halos walang split ends yung hair ko kasi siguro I use yung Syoss shampoo and cond kasi may keratin sya.  :)

Sis, ginamit ko blue bleach which I got from Hortaleza. Nabasa ko online if you soak your hair with coconut oil before bleaching, it make the process faster and lessen the damage. So I soaked my ends in coconut oil for 30 minutes, then applied the bleach and left it for 10 minutes. I did this 2 consecutive days. Pero di naman nag light talaga yong na bleach and katakot kasi some of hair strands nag rubberize.

Anyways it didn't look good, pinaputol ko na lang parang 6 inches din yon  :(

Now I'm sporting a short haircut, pina rebond ko na lang para di mag fly away.

^ I don't get the logic na maglagay ng oil before bleaching. Ang wierd lang for me kasi ako I shampoo my hair to remove oils para magwork talaga yung bleach eh. Ang balak ko pa nga next time is to stop using any keratin shampoo and conditioner 1 week before ako ulit magbleach kasi gusto ko pa mas light yung pagkablonde. I read naman na keratin can lessen the effect or pagkapit ng color so stop keratin treatments for a week daw.

yes salon po ang LPK its located at the fort.

My ombre was done by a neighbor who works in a salon...and it was beautifully done that my officemates even admired it. It was sort of a DIY kasi sa bahay lang ginawa and he asked me to buy hair colorant from hortaleza which is maganda rin pala ang quality. plus oxidizer na 9% then yung hair spa... mejo na-damage yung hair sa loob na part pero all-in-all okay parin tingnan and di masyadong dry kasi alaga siya sa treatment.

I LOVE this hairstyle! It gets addicting once you start it specially kung kaya mo magDIY.

The key is to change it up or use fun colors. It's also a great way to try colors that you're not sure if you can pull-off. You can cut it or re-dye it easily if you got tired of it. It's such a fun hairstyle specially if it's curled and styled!  ;D

^yes, pa tanggal sawa.

I have it put on the tips of my curled ends -- mga 6 inches.
I had it in dark plum, tapos red-brown now.
If I get enough guts next month: rust or dark blue.   Susko, my hubby will say: na cray cray na.

Ombre History Reference

1. Saying adieu to my faded pink hair. Trimmed tips off.

2. After bleaching twice or thrice: Lannister/ Super Saiyan golden yellow hair.

3. Another bleach and toned: Danaerys Targaryen/ Elsa's hair

4. Added pink on my conditioner and turned cotton candy pink on 2nd wash.

5. Braided cotton candy hair.

6. I went crazy again and colored it with a bit more pink but more toned down than the first one. Still turned out very bright! Lurve! ♥

Hi! Ask ko lang, is it normal na kapag sa salon ka nag pa ombre - ibbleach lang yung hair mo then no other hair dye will be applied?

I have brown hair kasi, I want the bottom part na parang caramel color. They bleached my hair, then rinsed, then tapos na. No color was applied.

Is this the normal way to ombre the hair? First time ko pumunta ng salon to have my hair color kasi tapos naweirdohan lang ako. Parang I paid to have my hair bleached ang nangyari?

^That's normally how it's done sis. Dapat sinabi mo sa kanila from the start what you wanted. Pwede pang maging caramel yan sis. Just dye it. Pwede ring buong hair mo and it will still have that ombre effect kung maganda pagkakagawa nila. Just make sure that the caramel dye is not too dark kasi macocover lang nya yung lightened parts. Try a medium blonde/brown shade or lighter if you want it to show up as ombre parin.

I did! :( Sobrang brassy talaga niya. I'm thinking of dying it siguro ash blonde ba? To neutralize the orangeness?

Pwede rin yung food color on conditioner method but I'm not sure how it will work for your hair kasi iba iba hair natin.

they usually bleach it then tone it afterwards para mawala ang brassiness

one of the hairdressers I saw, she said she will bleach it, then use a dye na cool shade (ash something) after
