^i am a K by Cunanan bride. And k by c was my sole choice for our wedding caterer. i have no idea about juan carlo's food/packages/performance. Pero sa pictures ng setups ng juan carlo, hindi kayang i-match sa table setup ng k by c.

I haven't tried juan carlo so it'll be bias if I say na hindi masarap food nila.. but as a kbyc bride, yes masarap ang food ng k by cunanan.

I was able to try both. Ok din naman food ng Juan Carlo pero mas ok talaga food ng KbyC.

When KbyC is booked on our wedding day (Kahit first supplier ko na inquire sila) take note, more than a year before the wedding pa, booked na. Anyway, it was betweek Hizon's and Josiah's lang. We finally got Josiah. Medyo turn off kame sa hizons. Food wise should be fine. But the way they sell the service. Parang off. They always insists of customize etc. Then it will end up on asking the whole budget for the food. Then will come back to you on their per pax. For us kase, we prefer "give us your per pax, and we will check if budget permits". Sa kanila other way around. Give the budget and they will see kung ano ang pasok sa budget mo. And with a "no budget couple" like us. Because, we always think of looking muna on how the service is, before checking what kind of budget we will avail. Anyway, We got Josiah's

sis how many meetings/food tastings do you have with your caterer? our wedding is 10 months away pa naman pero i haven't heard anything from our caterer since we booked them 2 months ago. im not sure if i should contact them na kasi i dont know what we're supposed to discuss at this time. help please?

^who is your caterer bzbee? Since I'm based overseas,  2 meetings lang kami. Initial FT & Final FT with detailing.

Sis.. I think so.. pero the other caterers I think pumapayag sila more than two ft's. Just ask your ae lang.. I'm sure papayag sila sa request. Sa kbyc, I was told, may bayad na pag more than two.

Wow, mukhang Josiah's nga talaga. Strange lang na when I Google Hizon's vs. Josiah's puro Hizon's ang pinipili ng mga tao. But I do put a lot of faith in my sister's taste and also in you ladies

^ I think sis because of freebies. Nag inquire din kami dyan ni hubby solo lang sya nag attend sa appointment, come FT day ni hubby daming nilatag na freebies pero we opted for a different caterer. Nothing against Hizon's, okay naman daw sabi ni hubby pero nakahanap lang kami ng mas masarap na food and mas mura.

My previous co worker naman got married nung 2013 sa glass garden and Josiah's ang caterer, I can say masarap ang food. May mga upgrades din sila and maganda styling.

Ang Josiah's din may freebies eh. I remember nung nag FT kami, willing sila i-upgrade yung pasta to a pasta station yata, tapos free suppliers' meal for a number of pax, etc. I forgot na yung iba.

If I were to rank the FT we've been to during our wedding preps (2014 bride here) it would be:

1. KbyC (our choice, and di kami nagsisi to go all the way from the south to far qc for the FT, guests raved about our food and simple yet elegant setup. Note: we didn't upgrade sa styling)
2. Josiah's (masarap din, many freebies and upgrades offered, but KbyC won talaga)
3. Centertable (Value for money, food is decent)
4. Purpledish
5. Hizon's

^Talaga sis? I just attended kasi Josiah's GFT in Oasis last Sunday. Had really high hopes for them because of all the rave reviews on their food. Even my sister and mom who were with me were really excited. Basically, we were ready to book them.

Pero yun. Hindi kami natuwa sa food nila. As in, even the desserts. And we had such high hopes for their desserts. It was a real surprise and a disappointment. In short, hindi kami nag-book that day. I don't know kung malas lang talaga sila that day or baka kami. Ewan.

Because we booked Oasis Manila, we're limited to their partner caterers so we're checking out Hizon's GFT naman this weekend. Feedback ako after.

Di na daw, sis. I asked about it kasi sila ang caterer ng friend ko on her wedding. They ended daw their contract, and that's all that they'd say.

Sis, i didn't like hizon's. Sorry sa mga hizon's brides.. Although siya lang yung napuntahan ko na food tasting tapos tumigil na kami. Hindi ganon kasarap yung food nila for its price. yun lang ang comment ko kasi nga, hizon's lang naman natry ko. hehe.

Sis mdnextdoor,  natry ko din Hizon's sa wedding ng cousin ko.. apparently wala akong nagustuhan sa food (personal opinion) except for the carbonara. Although yung iba mukhang satisfied naman.. kaso nakapag FT na kami by that time kina k by c kaya "medyo" nacompare ko..
