wala naman kase kameng mga special details talaga na hihingin from them basta ang importante eh dumating sila on time, may maayos na setup at masarap na food.
malaki-laki din kase yung discount na binigay sa'men ng M dahil feeling ko nasaktuhan namin na nagbi-build sila portfolio for dahil early last year lang sila nag-start for weddings. siguro factor na din yun na di pa masyadong gamay ng AE's nila pag puro brides na makukulit at OC ang nagi-inquire sila at baka na-overwhelm masyado.
for us kase we find it practical din na ang lapit nila sa oasis manila kaya no need na i-travel ng matagal yung food & equipment. though syempre if they want to expand and promote their brand dapat ayusin din yung customer service nila. hopefully ma-improve nila 'to as soon as possible. siguro i'll mention this too on my next meeting with kris para aware sila na may ganung feedback kase sayang naman ang potential clients.

mga sis, ano bang pinaka-ideal time na i-schedule ang final detailing with the caterer?

^ ok sis siguro nga pwede mo rin mention sa kanila yan when you get a chance. I think I mentioned it before sa GT na my friend got them for wedding. Yung Albo-Ferrer album sa fb nila, they delivered well for that client kasi kinumusta ko din si bride how was everything. Nag message sakin si bride a few days after the wedding na okay ang lahat especially yung food kasi lahat ng guests nag rave sa food which I can personally agree with dahil madalas din kaming family umorder sa M kasi masarap na marami pang servings.

Sa detailing naman sis, based from my experience 1 month before ng wedding lang kami nag start ng final detailing ng caterer. Nag ocular sila sa chosen venue after ko magbigay ng specifications ano gusto naming couple na maging setup then nag suggest din sila ng other options. Yung iba siguro earlier pa sa 1 month.

off-topic pero ask ko na din.. i considered your p/v din before kase former churchmate ko si serg (different locals nga lang) and dating classmate ko yung isa sa mga shooters nya.. hanapin ko sana yung wedding nyo sa page nya.

^ nung wedding preps namin sis kaya 1 month before kasi yun yung time na nakauwi ako dito sa pinas hehe kaya yun pa lang talaga yung time na nakapag detailing kami sa caterer. Enough time naman na yun on our part kasi basic caterer's setup lang talaga and hindi na kami kumuha ng stylist kaya konti lang din details. Nung wedding namin sis nagulat din ako kasi yung team ni serg pati ng ka tie up nya na God's grace productions magkakakilala pala sila nung iba naming guests, baka ka-Church din nila at nagkagulatan na lang sila sa venue kasi same venue lang kami for ceremony and reception. Small world hehe.

I got Juan Carlo for my wedding. for me maganda naman styling nila. simple lang kasi gusto ko na achieve naman nila yun. kaso hindi lang ako makamove on. kasi di ko talaga nagustuhan yung mga food. nothing special, even the guests kasi di makacomment kung masarap. i mean dapat ko pa sila tanungin kung masarap ba? siguro kasi pinakamura na package kinuha namin (na umabot din ng 1k per head) pero naisip ko sana nag KbyC nalang ako!

^ay talaga sis, kala ko KbyC levels din ang food nila kasi ganun din yung range ng rates nila per pax diba. as in walang masarap?

^ nung 2011 sis my best friend got them for wedding. Nasa P650 per pax nila nakuha sinamahan ko kasi siya sa weddings & debuts expo nun and the food did not disappoint on the wedding day. As years go by I'm not sure na heheh focused na kasi sila sa celebrity weddings.

^^may masarap naman like yung beef with mashed potato. siguro sa pinili din namin. pero nung nag FT kasi kami masarap naman e. nag final FT kami don medyo kabado na ko hindi masarap except yung beef.

^binalaan na ko ng friend ko about it. sabi nya di ganon kasarap. di ako nakinig kasi yun lang yung laging may FT sa south eh ayaw ko lumayo

Caterer dilemma:

Caterer A: known Caterer, okay naman ang food tasting. Mabilis mag-reply & maayos kausap ang AE

Caterer B: Mas masarap ang food than Caterer A, price is 10% higher. Willing to give 'freebies' - wedding car, lechon.

Pero ang hirap kausap ng AE. It took us 2 weeks of calls and emails just to get our instructions across. And all that we've asked is for is a quote on what they can give with the same price as Caterer A (and still, mas taas pa rin yung price na binigay vs Caterer A).

We wanted to get Caterer B for their food, I'm actually not interested with the 'freebies'. We're okay to shell out a little more, but we're worried that the AE won't deliver well, or magkaprob kami on the day. What do you think mga sis?

Hmm oo nga sis medyo mahirap ito pero for me I'll go with Caterer A since okay naman ang food kasi kung okay ang AE ko then I can easily request sa food adjustments to better the food taste and quality. Plus points talaga na okay si AE para may peace of mind ako and hindi ako nagwoworry na maeexecute ba lahat ng details na gusto ko.

Caterers are mainly food suppliers so go for the one with better food and have your AE changed.

we decided to go for Caterer B, although meron parin akong konting hesitations. Ang game plan is to sched a face-to-face meeting with the AE. Ang hirap pa palitan kasi fiancee sya nung owner. I hope maging okay. Had to let go of my Tiffany chairs too. I hope this is worth it. Balitaan ko kayo in 7 months =)

Need your advice please. till now I have't book all my major suppliers especially the Catering Services.
There's a lot of them who send proposal and package rate, now my question, most of them they include
p/v, hmua, souvenirs etc etc.. like all in package..

^ sis try to stay away from all-in packages. better kung makakapili ka ng sarili mong suppliers. you just have to do a lot of research but its totally worth it.
