sis twinxz, yup medyo na-off talaga ako sa Queensland dun sa daming additional charges. Parang 770/pax nila, nung pinaquote ko, inabot din kame sa 150K to think na budget bride ako though masarap talaga ang food.

I suggest magpaFT sched ka ke Rhez first before deciding:) Saka try mo din sa Ma Dels para madaming options:)

Update lang sissies:  Bigo ako kay K by C bilang sarado ang kanilang tindahan nila sa aking wedding date.  Ayoko nang makipagdeal sa isa pang vendor for styling so I'm leaning towards Passion Cooks and Josiah's (I heard they hired their own stylist now).  Anyone here with experience dealing with them?

I got Quido's Catering and it's probably one of the worst decision that iv'e made in my life. It started out good..nung food tasting, pgpili at review ng contract etc. pero on the day itself, sa wedding namin sabi ko sa sarili ko kasal ko ba talaga toh? Hindi naman ako nag assume ng todo todo [textspeak!] tama lang but they failed me still I asked my guests.. And you know what's worst than bad comments? It's having no comments at all kasi alam mong nahihiya [textspeak!] sabihin [textspeak!] totoo. If not for my emcee and l&s team,wala na as in wala lang [textspeak!] kasal. Sobrang nakakahiya lalo na sa mga ninong at ninang. So pls. be careful and choose wisely.

^ they should take this matter seriously especially wedding pa naman ang event. Looking on the brighter side, gaya ng sinabi mo you were blessed with other suppliers that made you happy on that day and officially mrs. ka na ni hubby! Yay for that!

Sis may representative ba kayo dito sa PH for food tasting? Kasi marami ka din naman options and much better kung kayo sana mismo mag food tasting. If hindi talaga kaya ng schedule then at least family members nyo sana. You can check other caterers din like Queensland, Tantoco's, Bistro 109 and marami pang iba. I think close sila sa rates ng Ma Del's. You can also try K by C or Passion Cooks. Depende sa requirements mo sis goodluck.

Ask ko lang: can a caterer be booked kahit less than 100pax ang guests? Friend ko kasi 50pax lang ang wedding nya, actually 30pax lang sya pero ginawa nyang 50pax for overinviting purposes. Medyo frustrated sya na halos lahat ng caterers eh minimum 100pax (sometimes 150pax) ang packages. I suggested Purpledish bilang meron silang package for 50pax, pero are there some more na kayang mag-cater ng ganung kakonti? TIA!

Sis.. I think queensland? I'm not really sure pero we have a sis here who got them for family reunion yata.. so I'm assuming that's around 50pax lang?

^sorry to hear that sis jonahh08. anung nangyari sa wedding mo? Yun din pansin ko sa Quido's. Nung umattend kasi kame FT, actual wedding sa Mango Farm yung pinuntahan namin. Ang ganda ng rustic setup nila infairness, at super mabait at very accommodating si Ms. Gina, super polite while answering all our questions. Kaya lang nung sinerve na yung food, walang masarap kahit dessert:( Nakakahiya sobrang dami naming natira ni H2B. Tapos nakakahiya kasi tinatanong nya how's the food and we just said, OK naman po. I think need talaga natin magresearch ng bongga sa food kasi in a way, gift na rin natin sa guests yun sa pagpunta nila sa wedding.

Merong tatanggap niyan but she should expect that the price would be higher.  Economies of scale ba.  And chances are food lang ang iprep nila, and very very very minimal styling.  So she should hire a stylist as well if she's not DIYng.  Try Queensland, they have affordable rates.  Albergus also caters but given the number of pax, that might fall into their meeting/dinner service instead of an event.

we'll be having a food tasting this weekend for hizon's sa grand foodtasting nila sa oasis. i have paid dp kay kbyc but i am still curious, i am open to other ideas pa. hasty yung naging decision ko to book kbyc sa fair pero since nov 2016 bride naman ako, siguro okay lang na magtingin pa rin sa iba? kayo ba sisses, ganito rin?

Isa sa mga fun moments since we got engaged ay mag FT. libre kasi and I like talking about our wedding plans.. hihi. plus my fiance and I are both passionate about cooking kaya F na F namin ang pagiging critique sa food ng caterers feeling namin judge kami sa isang cooking show hehe

^hi sis dcpdane, since mukang me budget ka naman, push mo na yan hehe:) Ako kasi kapag nagbigay na ng downpayment, esp pag medyo malaki na sya and I think before naman ako magcommit e i have done my research prior booking them, hindi na ulit ako magtatry sa iba. Matetempt kasi talaga ako HAHAHA at sayang kasi ang 5k or 10k na dp, pwede ko na pang dessert station yun or maipandagdag sa ibang wedding expenses:)

Sis carlallanwed given the number of guests kahit na mas mahal ang per pax ng mga caterers na to eh mas mura pa rin naman diba? Kesa pag yung 100pax package ang kukunin nila? I know for a fact na on a tight budget ang friend ko at ang fiance nya kaya nga 50pax lang ang guests nya, pero primarily hindi nila bet ang maraming tao sa kasal nila kaya konti lang ang invited. Kakaiba ang wedding nila because of this fact and so I'm helping her out.
